  1. should be able to do 360-380kw on -5's iirc.
  2. low mounts will probably get u less trouble from the cops, but i guess you don't care minimul difference in performance, the only one will be if piping is longer, then a tad more lag
  3. probably because they are essentially just normal chromies with a brand name. have you tried trading post and so on? you should also try some of the more unique richy forums (ie porshe etc).
  4. im interested in the cluster. will it just go straight into my 89 32gtr, and if so, what adjustments do i need to make? i assume the speedo cable will need to be re-tuned or something?
  5. no one? i see an example on the SAU main site, members rides, femno?
  6. for 3000 posts im surprised you have to ask, but i guess SAU is pretty big forum listen to ash though, he's got a lot of experience with this you might do looking through guilt-toys thread, that should give you some ideas on where to gain performance without much cost.
  7. lol terry. imagine the queen driving a 35gtr... XD
  8. go to tafe, learn how to do it properly and safely, and cheaply
  9. jim berry you'll find to be the most popular to drive daily. clamp power is capable of handling those power easily without almost any change in pedal force or friction points etc. so you know, NO clutches can really withstand 7k+ rpm drops for very long, so i assume u just mean now and again to show off (which you shouldn't do on public roads FYI).
  10. linky dinky? or do i have to buy from amazon
  11. wow, really makes a difference! sticky TBH!
  12. do you guys have some guides you go from re tuning suspension? i've been looking at LFS and a couple other games guides as they explain things the best, but.. .?
  13. injectors bigger turbo (much) proper ECU bigger intercooler cam gears
  14. hehehehe, it sounds just like the 35R I have in Forza... it is NA really though
  15. ok seems all ok, haven't gone over 60kmh yet so we'll see. apparently the bearing is now a little noisy, but maybe it was like that before (exhaust + music >_> )... anyway, got a bunch of spares now, so thats handy last questions, they replaced both rear struts with what was there before (basically stocks i think), is it worth doing teh fronts any time soon, or getting coilovers then selling em? oh, and where do i get spare wheels from <_<
  16. http://www.autoweek.com/article/20110720/CARNEWS/110729990 some others trying to as well
  17. So with the rim damage to the back right, I need to find myself a spare (or two). I've told them to go ahead with the aligning, then try to get it repaired, but for that i still need a 4th wheel (unless i can somehow drive on my side the whole way? ). any ideas where people get these, i called around a bunch of tyre and wheel places but they don't keep 2nd hand ones apparently :S ... in ringwood, so closer the better. don't want to have to buy a full new set to get me going till the other one is repaired lol.
  18. So when you say no amps, do you mean full stop, or would an easy-to-remove amp be OK (i assume u don't need amped music on the track?).
  19. +1 to buy and fix. Especially as others have said, that looks damn clean which is surprising (never been on 1 dirt road?!?)..
  20. I need shocks too, should i just replace with standard or go coilovers? i don't think the difference in price vs the labour of doing it (which i want to do in like 5 months) is worth it really?
  21. hmmm interesting, PI rules must have changed, or at least the people that know about it. cos I've asked the same question re some american cars (chevy, stang etc all LHD) and they said nope needs compliance.
  22. Anyone can explain why it sounds like a NA at 12kRPM not a turbo at 7k lol? The sound is just beastly
  23. Unless you plan to steal one, the cost for getting it here and complied will be well above the difference in price, as others have said.
