  1. The lift or duration at 0.050? Not sure, but I can ask.
  2. Farken 2J. That is all!
  3. I don't disagree, Nick. Why do you need a cam that will allow the engine to rev to 10k when the turbos are done by 7500? Smaller duration cams are only going to push your curve to the left, which, for what you do is perfect! Give me a 245-250 at 11mm plus lift and I'll be all over it. Bugger top end, big fat meaty curve which noses over at 7000-7500. Done! Hard on the valve train but have it looked at every 20-30 k and IF it needs attention, do it. The jap cams we spun up were very mild in their temp rate, we had two for reference; Tomei Procam 270 @ 10.25 mm JUN 264 @ 10.5 mm Both of which were alot "softer" in their rate of opening the valve than what Yavuz went for. Over discussions he believes that this cam he developed has the same "area" of a larger 280 but without the huge overlap. This is why we made our own.
  4. Can do. I know Yavuz put the same lobe that's in mine onto a 2JZ stick and doing a back to back, picked up a decent whack of grunt, everywhere over the longer duration "jap" cams. Can't remember the figure, but it was significant. You know where he is, get it, take it to him, have a chat.
  5. Not THAT hard to install them. They're ordered and arrived, so I'll be putting them on, I won't be taking them off! Haha.
  6. Give a lobe to Yavuz, "group buy".... $900 I reckon.
  7. I'm doing my best, Tommy Turtle! Joey is definitely undecided. It all depends on Sime1's car!
  8. Maybe a 250 poncam would be a happy medium. Not much more duration, but a decent whack of lift.... Or go the whole hog, relieve the head and run some high light, low duration cams. Personally, I'd like to do a back to back with a 250ish with 11 mm plus cam vs my ones. All R&D .
  9. No sympathy. You had one, sold it. . Sad day for humanity! Haha
  10. The old, "bigger ain't always better".Love it
  11. Good luck mate.Call him and ask but I don't think he will unless it's $$$$$ on the table. Drive it down, weekend with the "crew", tune and drive home
  12. When should it be up and running, Sean?
  13. Bracing might change the sound of the exhaust note, it won't rev as fast... Strokers are bad!
  14. wouldn't say a "group buy" as such, but there will be a few of us from Sydney buying a product from PPG in the next few months. I'm going helical dog, Joey is undecided. I'll give you a call and chat to you about it?
  15. Tom, If we can get a good idea from Sime's car then it might be a waste of time flying down there to see the same box? My mind is made up, it's just the other the sphincter of the universes now.
  16. That Nagisa triangle thing was from RHD.
  17. A little bit of an update here. Tomorrow it goes in to get the front bar resprayed, the rear pods redone after they got hammered at the 2012 Nationals the boot sprayed white and it all stitch welded up. Now, my car being a Series 3 has a few little features the earlier models didn't and not many know about. There are 4 holes in the boot which have bolts going down into the chassis rails. The R34 GTR and S 15's have a bar which link these 4 points up. I got an S15 brace for $50 from skyline spares. I'll rub it back and paint it up. Here it is inside a 33 GTR. I also bought one of these. Nagisa Auto "Gacchiri Support" That obviously needs the front guards taken off. See if I notice anything.
  18. The car hasn't moved in a few months. It's been washed and detailed then put in it's naughty corner. The box I've decided on a PPG 1-4 helical dog with an OS 5th gear instead of the standard one. I'm a little concerned that if I ever head down to Philip Island I might strip 5th being so over driven. I'll also be using the larger input shaft which does mean clutch modification. As for the oil, that was Terry at Award diff and gearbox recommendation. He uses it in all his diffs that are likely to see track work. Seem's fine to me. It definitely shut the clunky Nismo GT PRO up, that's for sure.
