  1. That's what I keep hearing! What's in yours, Paul? 1-4 helical or 1-5 straight cut? I've seen a few of your vids, particularly at Coota. You're not nice to them at all!
  2. Are you using a aftermarket ECU and planning going for a "touch up" tune later on? If you are, why not use this opportunity to raise the comp and give you better twist through the mid range?
  3. I can't see them being a good choice, personally. Large duration with a fairy amount of lift.
  4. Charlie, unless you want straight cut 1-5 (straight cut 5th would get annoying on the freeway), PPG only do a helical 1-4 helical dog with a synchro 5th (standard ratio if you wish).I still haven't met up with Sime, is the helical dog something you're interested in?
  5. Dan, it's because Daniel hasn't 1000000% tied up everything with it. Mark at Unigroup told me there was an update to go on my car next time it's in which is just a case of plug the laptop in, upload it and unplug it. I Spose almost every time it goes in it'll have some sort of minor software patch. Who knows what it's for. When it will be released to the public, who knows. This is why at the moment only Unigroup can/is tuning it. One of the guys at UE emailed me the software last year, I've since deleted it.
  6. Won't rev then, geez.
  7. Ah. Fair enough then .
  8. So saying you have turned the cams in a way which promotes more low end twist at the sacrifice of top end power (say it rolls over at 7500 instead of 8500-8800) means nothing?
  9. My map sensor position hasn't moved more than 20 cms between the Link g4 and Black Box yet the BB drives a lot better. Care to explain that? Considering Marko's Vipec had an on board map sensor and so does his BB it might have moved 200 mm max (board width)
  10. Nothing over 260. Even the Mines 252 at 10.05 would be a nice cam for that.
  11. I can see why. What on earth is going on there?
  12. Response won't be sacrificed at all. Depending on how your boost control setup, it might even improve.
  13. How big is your exhaust?
  14. 250 or 260 poncams?
  15. Post ya sheet up, head!
  16. Just east of Perth Prob easier just to give it to me, Marko as I'm out there quite often destroying our livers. Mark up what you want and I'll explain it to Micko. Saves you the trip out to Windsor and back.
  17. Tyson?
  18. Just forwarded him the link.
  19. Just get that second pump in there mate and run E85. Might be a little left in the midrange yet .
  20. That makes sense. Bring it on
  21. $1,850 for the ECU and their flex tune is worth $1,250 IIRC.
  22. All sounds good man. I really like how you have your boost setup. You can turn it down if you want to but it cant be forgotten about when on lower ethanol % blends. Have you filled up yet?
