  1. There is the culprit. The tooth fairy was good, bought me a OS88 instead of a few bucks. Winner! R3C Old and new. Evidence of an exhaust leak on the 5 speed. Modified transfer case.
  2. I'm heading out there today. I'll see how they're going.
  3. Ian (RB26/3.4) suggested that pump too. Struggling to find a flow chart though. Apparently they're super quiet too.
  4. Bit of an update. The 5 speed should be out of it today. I dropped out transfer case oil, gearbox oil, coolant, engine oil and 60 L of fresh E85 so the guys can run it up to make sure it's all happy days. As much as I hate paying for them to change the oil it's just too much of a hassle to do it while it's out there. The guys also did me a huge favour to open up the workshop at 6 PM on Sunday to take it in. The quicker it's out the better. I picked up a modified transfer case from Award today. I asked Terry how much difference there is between a stock one and this, his reply was "heaps". Should be interesting. It also looks like atleast my primary 044 has kicked the bucket again! It got started last night from dead cold, AFR's were 15.8-16.2 and from memory the fuel pressure was a tad low. Just above 2.1 ish bar at idle, I remember it sitting a bit above 2.5.I've had this issue before and turned out to be a lazy fuel pump. Grrrrr. Time for one big single pump I think. Suggestions? Progress shots should filter through tomorrow.
  5. The badge, front and rear diffusers on The V - Spec, 2 extra fields on the MFD and the quicker 4WD computer. Nissan should have done us all a huge favour and left the mechanical diffs in instead of being fancy.
  6. How's this engine looking, Fatman? Have you done a comp test lately?
  7. They have been flowed back up. All spot on. I'll take some photos and explain what's happening on Wedneaday night. Joeys got flowed up and had the same issue but not as bad.
  8. Gearbox goes out on Wednesday. Turns out the baskets collapsed in the top of the injector. Seems to be a pretty big issue with 2000's. New (different style) baskets in and it runs like a Swiss watch.
  9. 28 psi was at 3300 I believe. That's a 6466 with a 1.00 rear.
  10. Who gives a turd. They're such a better looking car.
  11. Marko, it was diluted to E0 before I dropped it off in Feb 2014. Put some 98 in it around July last year. With the in/out/in /out of the workshop it chewed it all. Some martini E85 got chucked in. Either way, injectors are f**ked as. Oh well. It is what it is. New injectors and box in. The "other card" will have to wait for a bit. Stay tuned .
  12. Rear pods and side skirts needed a touch up after 2012 nationals. The airport smashed them
  13. Ok guys. A wreck for a 33 GTR for reasonable money is proving harder to find so I've decided to keep the whale for a bit longer... The R34 dream is not dead, just delayed. So I picked the car up today after being in a panel shop for 18 months. Car ran beautiful for 500M and had a fit. Had to get it towed. Wouldn't even start! Micky Hill came to the rescue and we towed it to Unigroup. Thanks a lot mate! On the side of the road I changed plugs and 3,4 and 5 came out soaking wet. Injectors are f**ked. Towed it to Unigroup and that was confirmed. The plan is to throw ANSU 1750 cc stainless injectors in and run her up. OS88 with the R3C will be installed also. What a farken pain in the ass. Don't let the cars sit around too long. Fuel system hates it!
  14. If that's the case, why are you going for turbos that will do 500 kW or more?
  15. Picked up... Where did it go would be the better question haha!
  16. Poor little 2.6. . Can't help a soggy turd unfortunately.
