How does the ecu know what YOUR car wants/needs? Ditch it, get a decent ecu and don't do things twice.
  6. I can't tell you how but I had a new set of OEM and a set of split fires both kick the bucket within 3-4k kms. Ditch the lot and it's all good. Joey had issues at 400 rwkw, put the ignitor on and done. I've sent a few of these around the country and on every car the ignition issues disappeared.
  7. That hunk of junk cost me two sets of coils. Ditched it along with the factory and used the above mentioned ignitor and issues disappeared. The factory ignitor is an electrical bottle neck.

The reason I was asking turbo/engine combo is that (and this is my opinion only) the taller gears in the OS set make a lethargic bottom end of a 2.6 L engine and make it even more pronounced. For example, a mate on here on a pretty decent R33 GTR put one in and ended pulling it out and going back to stock ratios. That was predominately a track car too. 2.6 with -9's and -5's at different points. Just something to think about. Bakemono. Cheers man . Be good to drive it again lol.
