A 'mention' system yes would be pretty close to a form of integration, especially if it alerts a user to a particular thread. When someone for instance is after a particular part or car, paid up Members could 'mention' another Member as a form of alert. Also if an event is on and a Member wishes to prompt another Member to come along, the 'mention' system will be most invaluable.
