  1. Real problem is none of you use the backhand reach around when shifting from 3rd to 4th...so will never be allowed to punt my thing!
  2. I think your penchant for potato fields is better then my taste for armco and tyre walls
  3. Well if my theory that Webber is best in variable grip levels, where he is as good as anyone in the wet, but better then most as it starts to rain or as its drying out....then perhaps the slick, dusty and oil surface in Korea will help him where he does feel the car under him in slick conditions better then many. Come on Mark, hope his speed in P2 carries through to the rest of the weekend
  4. If only they werent gold. Awesome wheel! Good luck with the sale. If they had tyres and could trial fit them then i could be tempted...but cant run the risk of fouling on guards
  5. Interesting point made in the story. Earlier this year at Silverstone they said if a tough decision had to be made then whoever is leading the championship would get the nod. Seems thats not the case anymore. I still think Mark can get the job done. This weekend you expect Ferrari and McLaren to be strong so Mark really needs to keep his front row form going and hope its the McLarens up there with him...or better yet Vettel try it on with Hamo on the first lap...with Hamo now with nothing to lose
  6. I need to read up on it again, was about $2500 plus odds and ends, and you get up to 6 months if you apply for a permit in the UK that allows you to drive your car on Aussie rego provided its current. Get that and drive over to Beligium and in the space of 2 hours you have Spa, Nurburgring, Zolder and Zandvoort Its an 18 month contract so even if i hate it will be good opportunity to do some travel and in the warmer months drive some cool circuits. Getting too old for this moving around and having to meet new people all the time...but once you make the effort its usually pretty rewarding. Brussles is meant to be pretty easy going with NATO, EU etc means nobody in Brussels is actually from Brussels so easy to meet people
  7. What width and height Adz? I am expecting that the R34 GTR wing I am running to be inferior to a wing like yours...so doing a bit of homework in case i need to buy something.
  8. Why get Swift springs from Japan when you can just go down to the place who are going to be doing your alignments etc and use that as an opportunity to discuss what you want and get them to source the springs for you through Kings etc. Why gues and experiment with Japanese sourced parts when your local place to assist you....god knows some very quick tarma cars come from Perth....LF Performance etc springs to mind
  9. You get to drive the Exige then....not the 32!
  10. Well, for the believers there will be a cool rental R32 for the Ring and Spa
  11. Well in good news..break out the defibrillator my 2010 plans have some life left in them.... the lil 32 may be going to Belgium yet. Cant wait to scare the pants off all those Europeans with the noise of the lil 32 Means the next few weeks I really have to pull the finger out and get everything on the car sorted...may have to fast track the new engine as well. That is a tougher thing to commit too...but blowing up an RB20 OS doesnt sound too appealing
  12. Cool pics! Shame there isnt more of this going on around the state

    Piarc Sprints

So nobody looking at doing both days. I want the seat time so looking to do both days
  14. No longer for sale. The setup now has a happy new home...the one make series is growing and now has 3 x TD06 powered R32 GTSts ! Still have the near new Greddy type R gate that was going to be used with the 25G... $500 woudl be nice but will take 450 and its yours http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Td...html&hl=25G
  15. Al i want to do is the girl from the restaurant at Tiergarten...i even have a nose. I mean the least she can do is me!
  16. So begins the interstate RB20-TD06 rivalry! Farking Queenslanders!
  17. Is there anything wrong with the Nissan pipes, I know they fit the ARC filter. You save 1500-2000 as well
  18. It is soooo cool to see a well sorted GTSt punching out the times! Since my thing will never be that quick I have gone back to a double barrel cow bell
  19. At the end of the day, its a lot of turbo for an RB20 to spin...irrespective of the housing sizes....and i am pissed ... time to buy more stuff online
  20. Seriously? If you want something at the moment.... http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Tr...ou-t303846.html I am sick of people busting my balls over this kit....so if you want a track day spec setup that you can easily bolt on-off between rally and sprints, these high mount kits go on and off far quicker then the std stuff does....we can talk because I want to see your car with grunt more then you probably do
  21. That was funny to watch He needs to man up and learn how to wrestle a car...but yes, have two sets of Stoptechs with different sized pistons in them. Will trial them and see which gives me the best balance with teh 343mm rotor. So soon, the car will stop and hopefully go
  22. If anyone isnt happy with those pipes for an R32 i could be interested. There are plenty of reasons why i would prefer a rougher internal finish
  23. They are monster GT35 based turbos. They would be horrible on a std RB20....surely! The wheels and housings are so much bigger then my TD06 which is about the limit of what i would recommend size-frame wise for an RB20. Are we sure its still an RB20, not a kinder surprise?
  24. I installed some of the Racepace modified Tein RAs a few years back , but they have been seeing more service in other peoples GTSts then my car. I have only driven the car in anger at Dutton with them...have not done a track day with them (that i recall). Initial feel is the car rides the bumps a lot better....so will see over the coming few weeks whether that means there is any more time in them over the Bilsteins they replaced. Also binned the Whiteline swaybars to go ARC, though can see myself going back to the Whiteline bars. Fark, this is what happens when your car is off the road and you are not around enjoying it, you buy so much crap for it that any work you had done on getting it right goes out the window as you start experimenting with new parts that you probably dont need Marlin...go a used 2535 or a GT-RS. GT-RS is pretty laggy on std manifold, but you will end up with TD06 like power and response, or a 2535 for a bit more then a 2530, but without the agro of lag-TD06. I got nothing laying around that works with the std manifold. Why not just go crazy on the hot side, when you are ready to go rally spec, just rip off turbo and revert to std, my understanding is you can go aftermarket exhaust manifold as per the class rules. (or is it only inlet?)
  25. Just ordered new PFC06 pads for the front and PFC97 pads for the rear, new brake lines and some rear upper suspension arms so i can get a bit more adjustment and tighten up the rear. Really keen to get this all sorted now for Phillip Island in 3 weeks. There was around 2 seconds improvment in just driving alone with the car as it was 2 years ago, so hopefully with the new shocks alignment, and some of the other small changes I can surprise myself...but truth is will be happy just to be out and circulating again
