I can see it now. Can Heikki and Massa for next year, and give Vettel a real car to drive and Kubica a seat at either McLaren or Ferrari. I am so pissed off that its a pretty safe bet that Heikki will spend the next 6 years at McLaren alongside Lewis. Its robbing us of some good racng, imagine the second McLaren seat beign occupied by a guy that actually wants to win the WDC, or take on and beat his team mate

I keep coming back to this mod as well. Its pretty big money, but woudl be money well spent if it fattens up the mid range. Though by the times its installed and car tuned its a $2500 exercise so would need to be pretty sure it works....anyone willing to take the plunge on an RB20? LOL, people referring to results on RB25s doesnt do anything for my confidence

Even McLaren said it as a mistake, they wrongly guesstiamted at the pace he had. But biggest disappointment is that the second McLaren is being piloted by a roll over Kimi has been nowhere for a few races now, and Massa the quicker of the drivers. I dont get it, Massa has improved this year, but Kimi has been less then convincing of late. Hope he finds some pace soon. And Alonso isnt exactly covering himself in glory either, and was another example of how he is over driving trying to geta result. Its not a side of Alonso i have seen before. I am about one more race away from turning on Heikki Looks more and more like a bloke who doesnt deserve one of the best 4 seats on the grid. Hell at present you have to say Lewis is the only one driving liek he deserves his seat

No way i can sleep after watching this GP, Farking disgrace! Lewis drove well and had a good car under him. Class of the field by a long way. BUT, whilst the Ferrari was lackign race pace, and how i have always had not been too quick to jusge Massa. Today sealed the deal. His driving was disgraceful. As a guy leading teh WDC, he didnt even try to fight Lewis. PK should have fought a bit harder as well, he had nothing to lose by defending to the death, and Lewis everything. Yet again moved over like someone was waving a blue flag Not taking anything away from Lewis, but his competitors today were disgraceful. Alonso is making a habit of over driving. Kimi was nowhere all weekend and cant even keep pace with his hack team mate. For farks sake, someone put Kubica and Vettel in the Ferraris! And, the biggest disgrace of the night was that Heikki proving he is the new McLaren lap dog. I can understand team orders telling him to move over etc. but can you honeslty say Alonso would have moved over for him? Equal drivers my ass. Heikki will be at McLaren for a long time as Dennis will be happy to have a quick number 2 who doesnt upset their chosen No.1. Farkign sad as i was hoping the talk around Heikki was true, but he has been totally outclassed all year and he now seems to know it. And is happy to just be at McLaren. Fark, the after falling out of love with Heidfeld the year he was at Williams i am again remembering why i liked him. And its not because he side swips Safety Cars. But again, great race but so disappointing as so many drivers under performed. And the commentary was shitful as well, even i could tell they were calling the wrong cars/drivers etc. Anyway, now to try and go to sleep. But i am now at the front of the boot Massa list. He is shitful and no way shoudl have surrended his posi so easily. And Vettel is looking dangerous for Webber next year, will be interesting finish to the season, every team, including Mcalaren with that strange no pit stop call seem to be tryign to fark up a clear run at the championship

Any links for streaming working?

If they do i will be pissed off. The guy hasnt been that impressive. The day you start flooding F1 with guys just because they have a name or won a lower series because that particular year was weak, well. I think Red Bull need to man up and get Klein a seat again. I think he hsowed enough, and has continued to show enough to be worth a chance alongside Seb. Which is another thing, i cant believe they are talking about canning Seb already?
-
Is that confirmed?
-
If thats the case so be it. I doubt any professional athlete has a problem with beign beaten by another athlete. If they do it inspires them to improve and lift their game. No doubt if Webber is beaten by Vettel he wont take it lying down, so he can only further improve. The old saying about competition and making you stronger.
-
Come on Adam, have you forgotten the past few races already? I have come to like ALonso mroe then i ever thought i would. But have you seen his efforts in Monaco, Canada and France? He has been making mistakes, silly mistakes tryign to bridge the performance gap of the car. He has thrown away some very good ppoints scoring opportunities this year

And chase women, get drunk at the strippers etc etc with his mates PK Jr is doing ok. You have to think the driver people are comparing him to, his team mate is perhaps the best driver on the grid. Easily one of the best two. Last year Lewis was even stevens with him because he had the car and team under him. Its a lot harder to debut in a car that is nowhere near as competitive and have to fight it. Even Alsono aat the starty of the year said the car was shitful to drive. It seems with development this year the car is coming to PK Jr, which coincides with him getting more experience and race craft over a GP weekend
-
I am liking the fact that Jr isnt going quietly and has started to at least show glimpses of speed. He was good at Silverstone up to the incident. Being caught out is no sin as like you say, most drivers had moments Do we think RBR have soem real speed from development or was Silverstone a fluke? I am betting $50 that Webber will be top 4!

You need to understand that i have just finished building a bitumen facility. So that means i have MEANS. Talk like that gives me MOTIVE for a good tar and feathering! LOL, sadly i think the same thing very often, in fact recently asked a friend to follow up with some enquiries concerning such an animal

Vettel to RBR is excellent news. It will be Webber's defining year. If he can do a number on Vettel then it will promote him to near the top of the wanted drivers list. If Vettel beats him then Webber will see out his days at RBR. Be very interesting to see how it goes. Also re Heikki, i was told about a month ago he was gone by someone that knows more then me. His suggestion was Rosberg wont hold out at Williams next year and Frank / Patrick wont stop him. So my money is on Rosberg alongside Lewis. But again, so pumped. The Vette to RBR will be Webbers biggest hope of proving himself, catn wait to see how the year pans out. And just as importantly, they have been pretty good in recent testing so lets hope that his Silverstaone P2 and early race pace wasnt a fluke and they can turn it on this weekend.

Way i look at it no engine is ever 100% reliable, things can always fail, injectors clog, tips fall off spark plugs etc but i hear what you are saying. You will find that an RB20 will make 200rwkws in its sleep, and will do so for years of driving. I have done a track day at Sandown on a 38deg C day makign 234rwkws and the thing didnt miss a beat. The kms on my RB20 in various states of tune and levels of boost has seen it make between 215-260rwkws since late 2004. They ARE perfectly reliable at 200rwkws as they are at 160rwkws. The same rulle applies, control coolant and oil temp, control detonation and there isnt a problem. The same things that will kill a 200rwkw RB20 will kill your 200rwkws RB30. As for the going past 200rwkws getting expensive. I agree, but not because of thigns liek brakes and suspension, but because you need injectors, AFM, good oil cooler etc. All R32 Skyline should have upgraded suspension by now, they are between 14-19 years old so expect owners to have tidied the car up with new shocks and springs and bushes before chasing power. Re brakes, std brakes with good pads and thick rotors will handle the demands of a 200rwkw R32 without too much fuss. If you start running grippy tyres and +200rwkws then a larger rotor from a later model Skyline would help though. All i ask the original poster is that they go for a ride in a decent R32 GTSt before they commit dollars to an RB25 upgrade. It sounds like money isnt growing on trees, and i think in such cases the money spent on the RB20 will always bag you a quicker car then simply converting to RB25 which will see you stuck with std turbo / ECU etc and makign 190-200rwks. It would be a good building block for future mods and big power, but if thats not in the picture then stick with upgrading the RB20. Dont forget to check with your states requirements for engine transplants and engineering. Registering an RB25 in your car may be a few additional headaches come time to update your rego papers with the correct engine number

Amec from Brissie is running them in his 300ZX track car. In a drunken stoopa one night i purchased some Greddy 6 pot 330mm setup after reading they were more compact then the Brembo F40/50 caliper. Guess what? They are the same width so still have wheel clearance problems Fark having a lowly GTST and trying to run decent brakes. Since i am waiting for my OS work visa doesnt look like my car will be needing brakes anytime soon so may could be convinced to not install them on my car

One good thing about a slower class on the grid is when beign lapped they intorduce some challenges to the pilots of the quicker cars and present passing opportunities to the cars following

Sway Bars And Their Effect On Ride Comfort
Roy replied to nuffsaid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
The suspension is firmer. It simply feels like there is more spring in the car. But not surprised considering the std stuff i have at the moment is out of a friends 210,000km car. -
You needed to get a TD06, i would be surprised if you quickly got over the entertainment 260rwkws provides

Sway Bars And Their Effect On Ride Comfort
Roy replied to nuffsaid's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
I am currently running around with std shocks and springs in my car with upgraded swaybars and the ride is pretty sporty. Its not harsh, but you wouldnt think the car has std shocks and springs. Housemate drove the car and didnt realise i had removed the shocks as he thought it still rode firmly and handled well. -
Yeh, i am old and dont drink anymore

Help Me Decide Which Turbos For A Street/track Setup Gtr
Roy replied to BoostdR's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
Be interesting to see how well a 450kwGTR copes with track work. It seems a 3L will make almost any turbo combination work, so go for whichever you can get for a good price. My guy feel is perhaps the GT-RS are the way to go -
LOL, this is starting to head the way of most drag racing threads All i can say is that you were all lucky I A) Didnt havea running car , and B) was stranded out west for Saturday night's drinking activities. I missed what could have been the cultural event of 2008

I cant believe ppl are tryign to take away from this car by saying it shouldnt be compared to a GTR, it needs to be compared to a Nismo version blah, blah, blah! Who cares if its made by GM, Chevrolet or a division of Chevrolet. Fact is its not a limited run hottie, and its from GM of all people. As for comparions, GTR is a PC with 4 seats, the Vette is a "sledgehammer" with only two seats. Both have their appeals and thank god the cars are so different in personality but equally quick. We cant all like vanilla ice cream! By the way, is the Veyron quicker then the old Sledgehammer Vette?

Jesus Russ, how did you do that time in all that traffic? Good work.
