Bin the 10cm housing. They make about the same peak power, but at 4,500rpm you will be losing 50-60rwkws

I will onw RP-F1s soon, they are my favourite wheel What width and offset are the Enkeis, and as per Phunky, i assume they are 332mm not 355mm

As an apologist for Webber, this weekend simply saw the Toyotas and Renaults doing a better job. BMW struggled as well

17" Work Xd9s & Greddy 6 Pot Brake Setup
Roy replied to Roy's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
My experience of shipping things to Perth is not goo (carton of magazines) I am guessing the wheels would cost about $200-250 as the total weight is about 42kg for all 4 wheels. Will take some pretty colour pics of the brakes tonight. Considering i am willign to let them go for $500 less then you pay for Nengun, mroe like $800 when you factor in Nengun delivery...i thought they would sell quickly (lol...hoping they would ) Following are generic pics of the kit on the Greddy website The kit is brand new still in all original boxes etc -
Its a simple observation. After a few laps LH started to reel in FM. But from the mid point of the interval to the first pit stop Massa had superior pace and started to consistantly pull tenths on Lewis. I could be wrong, that just tells me he managed his tyres better and when he needed the car under him to punch out the quicker laps to keep him ahead of Lewis he was able to. Lewis couldnt respond in the final laps leading up to the pit stop. He would have been trying as the easiest way to get past the leader of a GP is to do a MS/KR like blinder lap or two followed by in and out laps. Like i said, simple observation...and i think i am on the money. Lewis did get a puncture, but i coudlnt see him getting near Massa without Massa having a problem. He didnt take on more fuel/laps, hsi stationary time was the same as Massas. Lewis was beaten in a straight up fight this weekend. Its not the end of the world. Every bloke has his day and this weekend was not Lewis'. We will see how he goes into the end of the season where Ferrari have traditionally been strong.

Yeh, if you lo0ok at Jack's Alcons the fronts are a different colour to the rears because of the same thing. Black is more stealthy too, i can throw a Nissan logo on them and people wont think it has brakes
-
But you say he sux for only pulling a 4 second lead. It was down to 2 seconds, he consrved the tyres from graining and as the car came to him and the pit stop loomed he pulled the gap out to a tad over 4 seconds, enough that Lewis couldnt get near him in teh first pit stop. Then again as the tyres came good he was quick as he needed to be and most importantly when he needed to be. I think it was a mature and supreme drive. When Lewis had his problem he was no threat to him at all.

Mark Berry Breaks Mt Cotton Hillclimb Record
Roy replied to giant's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Great work, but scary is the fact the R35 is only 2.5 seconds slower! -
Sorry, the exhaust manifold does have a wastegate, but neither are coming with the turbos. The turbos are flanged T3, and haev seen them mak 240rwkws odd on RB20s. (refer to Clint32 results)

Well i have to say since seing how Massa went alongside MS his first year at Ferrari, well i have liked watching him mature and battle away. This year has been a nig step forward for him, though the German GP result made me ill. Perhaps i should have had a little more faith in how he has been driving this year, as he was brilliant in the opening lap, looked after his tyres to the point where he could start to punch out laps to pull a gap on Lewis. It was a good race for him, shame to see it taken from him, but thats racing So, tonights performance means i have wiped Germany from my memory, will see if he continues his 2008 form at European GP. Go Massa, cant believe Kimi has goen so long with quick race pace but less then average points haul
-
Was that Kimi's Mrs? LOL now i know why i like the man
-
Shattered for Massa, he must have heard all the people screaming for blood after Lewis got past so easily. So hats off to him for a brilliant race. He was robbed. Good work to Heikki, but it was an inherited win rather then something he deservedm would rather of seem Glock get up....champion drive

What is going on Adam? There is far too many references to pulling anf flogging in your post! LOL, well if you are not one eyed then you must be legally blind You refer to caning and flogging? I look at the drivers championship last year and one point = flogging? What was the points score from mid season to end? Yeh a real flogging. Lewis did an astonishing job as a rookie. No argument. As a driver he farked it up like only an imbecile could He played mind games when he didnt need to, he distracted himself and the team when they were already distracted by the FIA/Ferrari thing and then threw the car away like a choker. Thing is it wasnt choking, it was a seemingly obtuse need to do the impossible in order to win a WDC in his rookie year. KEEP IT SIMPEL STUPID, KISS would have had him win the WDC without raising a sweat. If he just kept it simple and let his fragile ego have him place 3rd or 4th in a GP then he would have won the WDC. So back to this flogging Alonso, i have been over this ground before. If Lewis didnt throw away race weekends then his results would have been approaching what you would call flogging. As is it is nowhere near what you describe. And lets not forget Alonso throved when the pressure was on in the tail end of the year Yeh bring on toinights McLaren juggernaut. Or lets see of "The real Lewis will please stand up" and him bin it, run into something or have an attack of brain fart LOL, he is entertaining to watch

Item: HKS TO4E turbos Age: unknown Condition: Refer pics and comments below Price:$ 200 each To Fit: Whatever you want to bolt it onto Location: Melbourne Contact: Thread or PM Comments: Going through boxes as i am having a clean out. I forgot that i still had these turbos. They are left over turbos from the HKS RB20/25 low mount setups. One has a V-Band clamp exhaust housing (slight crack in the web of the split pulse housing) and appears to be a slightly larger exhaust housing. Wheels on both turbos are fine with no bends and damage. Turbos seem to spin fine but no idea how good condition the bearings are. The turbo pictured on the manifold came off a running engine, the other turbo with larger housing was a spare that came with the setup. Will do my best re questions, need them gone so ... $200 each or $350 for both turbos

Where is your BOV return line and rocker cover breather lines located ? Only real problem is that you may need to more regularly clean it

The racing so far this weekend has been good. Seeing DJR up there is making for good viewing
-
The fact that they are old, well worn meaning plenty of heat cycles and not really a true semi slick to start with...well i woudl say sell them with the car. The cost of swapping over tyres would erode any premium they are worth over normal tyres

Adam, by your ruling Hamilton does have what you call "haters". Hamo also has his fan boys like yourself that are so one eyed you cant accept the likelihood that Lewis did get helped by Alonso! Claiming that Lewis didnt get car setup advice and help from Alonso is pretty ignorant! He had a season of testing with McLaren, probably had more testing then Alonso as the start of the 2007 season, but he had not driven many of the tracks, had never really raced an F1 car wheel to wheel with other cars over a race distance so had less of an idea how to get good dirvability over the life of its tyres. Something he still struggles with to this day. His F1 experience was testing, tyres, aero comaprisons etc. Not dialling a car in to the conditions. Also claiming last years data is useless???? You cant be serious! They know the difference between last years car (tyres/aero etc) and pace at bunch of races from this year. A teams engineers ability to read and interpret data is make or break for the team! Do you think they go to a race with a car not factory set for the track based on last years data and testing/race data from this years car? You need a good relationship with your engineers, experience of what you like to get the most out of the car and the tyres, something that comes with experience. He didnt have much experience so its logical and has been stated in the media that he was receiving setup hlep from the other car in the garage. He now has well over a season of racing experience under his belt so you would expect that he is able to do a good job. Not recognising that there would have been an experience/transition period where he would have been relying on external input for setup to having the ability / confidence TO taking responsibility for setup is daft. You would hope that Lewis is better at his job today then he was 16 months ago!. Add to this that again it appears as though the McLaren is the car to have, i cant imgaine its near as fickle to setup as many of the other cars. He is doing a good job, congrats to the the guy. Looking at how Renault dropped off the pace, and this year has found pace, i think lends credence to Alonso's claim that he brought speed to the team/car. Looking at how McLaren fumbled a little upon his departure, whilst less obvious also suggests that this claim was possible. But claiming it as a 100% truth is a big leap, but he no doubt was a big part of the equation I will wait and see how Heikki goes tonight, the real test is if he has an extra lap or so of fuel, whether he can use it to jump Lewis?!?!?
-
But come on, Alosno setup or not, McLaren and its engieners have been around for years and would have the car semi sorted before it turns a wheel, Now that Lewis has a season and a halef under his belt in the car, longer workign with his engineers, you would expect him to be able to set up a McLaren without too much difficulty. The McLaren does not appear to be a fickle car. The highlight of the race will be watching Nick come through the field, and fingers crossed Kimi has recovered from his Friday night at the strippers

How much are the G4 replacement rotors? But the main reason i have not seruiousy considered them is the fact that they are 8 piston calipers. May sound silly, but i am waiting for people using them to tell me that when they are onto their 3rd set of pads whether they are having problems pushing the pistons back, seals have deteriotated with heat etc etc. So many small pistons may mean you have similar piston area for balance issues, but it also means you have way more circumference which means more seals and dust boots exposed and succeptible to heat damage, The fact that the pistons are so much smaller then they woudl quickly heat up as they have less intertia/sooling so possibly damage the their smaller rubber/seals quicker ???? I personally would be far happier with them if they were just 6 piston. Then there is the colour, a small thing and lastly there is that part of me that doesnt like them because of what they are Though the more i read of Targa cars surviving with them etc is slowly bringing me to the partys But back to the Stoptechs, they have a pretty good track record in road racing, various lcower tier classes of motorsport in US, they happily pit their kits against Brembo/Alcon etc in brake shootouts for US magazines. They are well supported and have seemed to been a good thing since i first read of them in 2002. So now that the dollar has come to us, i am thinkings its time to try them. Unlike others i like the fact that they are only 4 piston calipers and share pad sizes with Brembo. Anyway, time will tell. Mind you unless i can flog the Greddys i wont be buying the Stoptechs.

Yeh, they swapped it over for the end of the session. Looks pretty even up top for the time being. Hopefully BMW can get in the mix as well
