    The Victorian Law

The courts on Australia are a joke. I cant imagine how the victim and his family, along with the police feel about this. Hopefully the PP will contest the judges decision. Woudl love to know if this ruling had of been passed if it was a judges family member!
  2. Only if Lewis or Kimi doesnt win. Wathcing promo vids the track looks very fast, so assume the Ferrari will be strong, nad based on recent conjecture expecting RBR to be weak
  3. Good work, there are plenty of people out there using them who arehappy. Especially the Commodore crowd. Matt is the silver R34 GTT is the only guy i now who hasnt been too happy with his
  4. For the street 24/22 is my gut feel. But there is no right or wrong option. It comes down to driver preference. I liked at how my car handled. But i now have too mcuh swaybar for the spring and shock i am running. And the swaybars have been nothing but trouble onb my car and the 27mm front swaybar has actually damaged the sump of my engine. If installed again or on another car it wouldnt cause the same problem as the cause has been that the bar requires longer then std links. Special links were not supplied with the kit, Whiteline stated it used the std links...and it turns out they were wrong. If i keep them then i will most definitely be buying new longer links, i am just thinking about going back to softer bars
  5. Bump for brakes. Complete bolt on setup for Silvia and Skylines
  6. Easy answer is get Pedders to install it all then go to a place with experience in setting up cars for the alignment and height adjustment. Personally the only critical thing that makes worlds of difference is the sub frame bushg installation and the way they have been orientated.
  7. I think my old Whiteline bars which were 24/22mm only had two holes. I had both ends typically set on full hard. I now have 27/24mm with too many adjustment holes, as i can only really only use two on the rear and two on teh front, really only one due to the position of all the adjustment holes. To Patrick, i woldnt go the 27mm front unless you are going to get the 24mm rear. If you are going the 22mm rear then use the front. And i have had both over the years. I am getting rid of my current 27/24 in the future as i am going for custom, hollow adjustable jobbies
  8. I found the 24/22 Whiteline on street tyres very neutral. I once got a wheel alignment for D01Js so the camber went from -2deg to -3.5, from that wheel alignment on it was understeer central. Got some camber wound out to suit the lack of grip from the tyres and it came good. But then my front springs failed and the cars front ride height sagged which again made the car very pushy and could not get the rear end to play ball. So swaybars that are adjustable are great, but if i had of tried to fix the handling using swaybars then i would have been masking a bigger problem
  9. I will once again leave it up to Tim and Mick to fly the "Loud Silver Car" flag
  10. If you are looking for some swaybars i will be soon selling mine. I want to try some others, 27mm front and 24mm rear Selby/Whiteline bars (adjustable) However if i were you i would consider going 24/22mm adjustable. Odds are they will be easier to fit, though these days with Whiteline RS quality control that may not be the case. And for the street they will tighten things up nicely. If you are really loading the suspension you may still want more, but on the street they feel great. I am running the 27/24mm with std shocks at the moment and the car still feels sporty. But they are not adjusted on the firmest so ....
  11. Yeh a big powerful Falcon would be fun to punt...i imagine it would be rather difficult having had a little pilot of an ex Holden Dealer Team HG rally car
  12. Woops! Did i connect the fire hydrant line to the loading gantry or the ethanol line ?
  13. Ant..PM me your email address

    Vic Dutton Rally

I feel sorry for the people spending the money and making the effort...Only for Dutton to short change the broadcast of the event.
  15. LOL, careful Ben. Are you sure you want to push that line? I mean i am the one responsible for the loading / blending facility in Melbourne Do you really want to trust your engines to my engineering...i mean you have seen the quality of my spanner work

    Vic Dutton Rally

LOL, Mav was there really footage of the R32? That is so sad for the series if thats the case
  17. LOL, so many people ask questions etc about this sort of setup then we never see the results It cant be that much different then a TD06 setup, so will be laggy but have decent enough response and power from 4,000rpm on up. But since noone canb give you real life results then you will end up being a guinea pig to some extent. So 0.63, its easier to live with too small and choked up top, then laggy SOB that never makes the power it should. You can also port/extrude hone the smaller out to suit the engine.
  18. Since its an R32 i would never personally bother with adjustable bushes in the front. I have chewed out too many sets and couldnt be stuffed with them as it seems the geometry of the R32 is to blame. R33s etc all seem ok. But R32s well i happily run Noltec upper control arms on the front of my car. Good range of adjustment and have been fine in the front of my car for over 2 years now. I have only done about 15,000kms in those 2 years, but they have seen more use and kms then my last set of bushes that failed.
  19. I ran most of the Singapore GP track Sun morning. Its a great layout, with buildings in pretty close confines of the track in parts. Many stands etc are already up and construction is GO. Only thing is i feel for the mug punters who dont have grand stand tickets as i think general admisstion tickets will be struggling for good vantage points. Also, gut feel is the event would be far better during the day rather then night. But time will tell on that one as even with all the massive lights they already have in place...i am just not convinced its going to be great for spectators...may be good on tv though
  20. My 1:23.1 was done with 234rwkws. Teh tyres were only one track day old as at Phillip Island the RE55s were brand spankers. I ran a 1:24 at Dutton in well used RE55s and the 260rwkws , but the driver was well off the pace that day due to enjoying whayt little Shepparton has to offer on Sat night So 230rwkws shoud dbe good for a 23s ort high 22s if your tyres are up to it.
  21. Yeh, working between Singapore, Malaysia and Hyderabad. So its time for the rwd boys to step up and blow my PBs away. We cant have them standing any longer or the awd boys will think we are soft
  22. The wheels cannot be sold until i get back from OS, but the brakes are all boxed up and ready for a buyer
  23. Will be interesting as i have a set of the 264 HKS cams for my engine as well. Not sure if i should bother as they are very similar to the Apexi cams i had which i removed. Hoping that the ramp rates etc work a little better in the RB20 but if i were you no matter what way you go, get cam gears and have a play with the std cams, you may bag what you are looking for just with cam tweaking
  24. Hehe, it will be my one and only day this year I may get out there on 21/22 September but dont know. Jack, can you PM me your email address. The old girl needs a tow from workshop to workshop to workshop getting some work done, ready for a triumphant comeback, ready to ... crash again
  25. It would be an absolutre head fark to try and make an adaptor to space out the rear std caliper. Lots of grindign woudl be involved
