  1. I dont get it. Newcastle is still in NSW so everyone knows that NSW GTRs are the country's slowest
  2. Esky? I have just bought one of those beer bellies, so compounds my beer gut and gives me a 1.25L bladder that i can stash some real cheap scotch or vinegar or something in. But yeh, some schooners on the hill with empties being thrown at cars/drivers who are not turning on a spectacle. After all this is Australian Motorsport!
  3. It goes back today
  4. Ok, nothing wrong with an opinion. But it has nothing to do with wanting to be his lap boy. It has to do with respect. errr, i will leave it there.
  5. Someone give me a set of tyres and entry and i will put on a show not to be forgotten. Will there be safety cars? I will hit it too if it gets in my way. Either that or somene buy a brake setup or some wheels off me

    Whats The Deal?

Meh, just keep them, so when you are old and grey your great grandkids can laugh about the car in Pop's back yard...the funny thing that used to be his pride and joy. I know when i am old with loss of all control of organs and orifices with steel plates in head i am going to sit in my R32, grass up to the roof line and relive the day i cracked a 1:19 at Sandown
  7. Hey, if you want to change all the fluids, and put tyres on it i would love to see it being punted around. After the cruise on Fri night, i dont think the suspension is really that bad. Its easily good enough for the power y car has. If i have the 2.5k for entry, fuel, oil and tyres i would be there side swiping all those fancy car swith cf doors etc I have to stay focussed, do i want this... or this
  8. Just watch for the water bombs as you are coming onto the straight. I will need to take out my frustration and boredom somehow
  9. I will be up playing with my brother and new nephew. He lives 5 mins from OP so perfect So anyone looking to share drive up? I mean you drive, and i drink and annoy you?
  10. You truly become a man when the marshalls have to put out the grass fire after then have put out your car
  11. No, no, no ,no. Before all this Time Attack big city lights stuff, John has been running track days through his business since i think 2000, possibly earlier, My first few track days were UAS days and i suspect the choice to run these days were not always fiscally smart So he has given many customers and Sydney guys friendly and open doors to getting into track days. Now he doesnt need me defending him, but i suspect handing over the keys will be hard for the old bloke. But he is running a business, and if a driver can get him a few spots up the board then its all exposure and results for the car that he has been playing with for years, and his business then its a smart decision. That all said i cant believe that UAS cannot get its hands on another car for John to compete in? Hell, maybe i need to give John the keys to my car...just so he can marvel at RB20 POWAH!!!!
  12. One that looks to provide good results. I can understand everyone is a creature of their experiences, but i love it when from time to time people try something a bit different and get great results. Once upon a time 2530s were the turbo to have because everubody said so. Then the T517z did the rounds and now its the -5s. If people dont try something different then... And yes T04Z on RB26 was big disappointment, ,my RB20 with TD06 wasnt any worse off boost (even with 600cc less) and onto boost my setup made a bit more seat of the pants curry earlier. It still went well, but i think expectation was too high from the all the people sayign T04Z = big power and response.
  13. The DS2500s didnt crack any of my rotors, but i dont think its as simple as that. I thnk Dunan hit the mail on the head with using un slotted 4000s. The only difference between my oroginal set of DBA4000s and the others i have had are the slot design. For the money if i have any further rotor problems and i donthave any brake setups under the couch i am just going to grad some slotless rotors and run to a machine shop and get them to slot them for me like the Alcon or Perormance Friction rotors. I was surprised that it seesm DBA had done this for a batch of rotors themselves. Hopefully they catch on and start doing it to all performance rotors. Like i said even DBS made some vaned rotors with simialr slots If you are crackign 355 AP rotors then once is bad luck i suppose. 2 times and i think you have to really look at how you are warming up and cooling the rotors. Is it always the same side that cracks?
  14. DS2500s...throw them to the shitter. Some like them, but the more i read of people running them and wanting a further drake upgrade hints to me that i am not alone in my thinking they are really a crap pad, no better then the cheaper RB74s etc etc. For pedal feel, bite and retardation then a good pad will get you out of trouble 9 times out of 10. Used with good fluid like Castrol SRF or Motul RBF, and you will be happy with the improvement. From there i would hold off on braided lines, personally i didnt notice any real improvement going to them , which could have meant my std ones were ok in the first place, or i am not very astute at picking small improvements after mods. But main reason i would hold off on them is they wont be a factor that makes or brakes the tweaking of your current setup, and if you find the std brakes with pads and the std ducts etc installed still a little under done then the bigger calipers/rotors will need new lines anyway...so wont be fronting for two sets of lines As long as you buy the Brembo GTR calipers with the bolts its a pretty easy upgrade, you need to cut off the dust shields and that is about it. If you are anal you can re-drill the brake line mount so it fits the R32 hub position (5min job if you are not too lazy to go and grab the drill. ) As far as upgrades go it is an easy one, and about two hours per corner to perform.
  15. Rex Cramer, Danger Seeker ! LOL part time airline mechanic, full time dare devil!
  16. Dane, reasonably priced? LOL, i think they are all rip offs but i suppose. They do make a $7000 kevlar seat though, its the lightest FIA approved seat you can get. Stil think Velo are the best value for comfort and quality
  17. Thats why your caliper does the big small, big smal differential piston sizes, because as you noted you effectively have two 4 piston calipers in one with you running the two pads. If the caliper only used 2 pads, one each side you would expect the traditional small leading and larger trailing pistons
  18. Close to the mark Old Son. I want the sign as an attempt to show a bird how warm and caring i am, Hopefully her best friend/cousin will be so overwhelmed with emotion that she cant keep her hands off me and comes to the realisation that she NEEDS my seed
  19. "can't even give me a parking ticket!"
  20. OT FREE SOUTH AFRICA!!!! .... You dumb son of a bitch!
  21. Come on, somebdoy has to have the lame No Parking Signs in their garages etc. I need to get one made up but have searched around and cant find a place that makes them. So if anyone knows where i can get them made up....i would be most appreciative
  22. Mint wheels that are the perfect size for an R32....of only i didnt have so many rims
  23. Big Jim always gets the girl in the end.
