  1. A rotor is a rotor is a rotor for general applications. If you need the cooling becuase your brakes are borderline then the there is little doubt the Stoptech or OE Brembo rotors are far better. But the RDAs will get the job done.
  2. Fark it, im off to get some Indian and beers. Have to watch it on the night. HAVE TO!
  3. Yeh, just got off the phone with Foxtel. Basically going to cost me $99 a month....they can get farked!
  4. Fark, how do i get high def channel 10
  5. Talk to Scotsman on the forum, he is over your way and paints wheels for agood price and has a real nice daek grey simialr to the R34 wheel colour that looks great on the R33 wheels
  6. Whats the number to ring re your front bar? Also, woudl they have astd rear bar layign around with goos side clips?

Its been a while since a Skyline has made my jaw drop but in Bayswater i saw an R34 Bayside Blue GTR with licence plate GTRR. Fark me, had some serious wheels, serisouly low and big wing....it looked TRICk!!!
  8. What is the budget? Personally i dont think the RB25 upgrade is all that brilliant, it needs a re-tune, and a few tweaks and the cheapest it will ever be is around a $1000 upgrade. But if thats the budget thats all you can really do. If you have the budhet for more then 180rwkws then you are going to have to consider fuel pump (if you dont already haev one) and AFM (or an eco that doesnt require AFMs, injectors and a change to cooler and exhaust pipework. The step to a turbo , even like the 2530 is considerably more money.
  9. If the rotors and pads are healthy then i think about $600 is a fair price and what they normally sell for
  10. I have donated to the Humane Society, for a few years now. Get on board people!
  11. When i had mine i actually got out, casually opened the bonnet once the marshalls arrived, as i found out too late the mechanic had removed my extinguisher for his car LOL 2004 was a tough year for my car
  12. Did that stream ok for you? It was very stop/start for me. My Bigpond cable has never worked as well as my old Optus
  13. Did you get my email Ben
  14. LOL, actually. If i dont have plans i would lvoe to come up and have a look. Will talk to Ronin and convince him to take his GTR for a drive up and watch. Want to see the car in person, it is the Mk 1 Escort of the import world. Good handling and dynamics, just needs more power
  15. For those that say big US/Aus cars that dont handle. I have to ask you look at Prod Car racing in this country where the HSV Commodore has often beaten and is at least competitive with the STIs and Evo Lancers for years now. The Corvette has always been a flawed car but of late has improved vastly. In fact since about 1990 the Corvette has actually been a good car and improving to the point that the C6 and Z06 were great cars in their own right. And an amazing achievement if you consider the American market it is made for
  16. Speedzone stock some of their bits and pieces, i think they also do seats. But fark me they are exxy for their fixed back seats. Their reclinabel seats were really nice and well priced
  17. Revolution do not typically stock Velo and are pretty expensive with teh Sparco, Cobra and OMP seats which is normally what they stock
  18. Racer Industries are not exactly cheap either. Try Speedzone. Speedzone in Ballarat are typically cheaper again then some other Speedzone outlets. Hell for you Old Son i will get my housemate to pick it up as he is always in Ballarat, and i get it to you however, whenever in our coastal travels
  19. Can you tell us what engine it originally had in it? If it is a GTS that once ran an RB25DE then i will offer you $1000 for it without the bonnet, wheels or bodykit
  20. ...but totally fark your car if they go off. Bastards to clean, but i suppose at least the car wont be a burnt out shell
  21. Interesting, even though the RX7 is light and powerful with plenty of corner speed, i would have expected the GTR to be quicker with all its gissmos. It went damn close and i think you can tell by the steering inputs that if they did the run 10 times the GTR would be consistantly quicker, even if the outright quickest lap going to the RX7. So, seems despite all the reviews, Nissan still have not been able to engineer out the cars weight, the fact it doesnt feel big and heavy is the next best thing
  22. Not a fair comparison. The RB20DE was a mass produced poo commuter engine. The F20C was always built as a performance engine with variable vale timing and light internals. But i get what you are saying. LOL, and again i agree with you, but was just commenting on your reference to "I have no idea why people think that RB20s rev better because they need to rev " .... The simple fact is that they do rev easier. Also the VE isnt really directly the right comparison. How do you know the VE is better for the RB25? Fact is the RB20 could have a higher VE as that would explain why it has a narrower power band? Typicall race engine often have higher VE , tuned for certain rpm ranges which makes them better for that power band, but overall a peaky engine that isnt as good an all rounder. So thinking about the RB20 could have a slightly higher VE which explains why it is so poo. Alos, consider that for a single cylinder's cc the valve surface area and i know the RB20 has more valve area then an SR20, but i am gussing its less then the RB25 even though i have never worked it out. The RB25 flows more, but it needs to as its cylinder displacement is higher, and VE is a ratio of actual flow into a cylinder vs the volume of the cylinder. Its the mass flow rate and pressure ratio that matter. They could very well have a similar VE but the RB25 simply has a higher volumetric flow rate because of its displacement, and in turn higher mass flow rate because of the higher volumetric flow rate. LOL, so not really arguing or disagreeing with you...just bored and dribbling on
  23. Velo Podium are real comfortable and priced in that range, but are pretty heavily bolstered. The Velo GP90 is a great all rounder as it has slightly less leg support so makes access/egress a little easier. I used to have a Velo Esprit, really liked it, was a great seat and actually lighter then my kevlar Momo, though not as rigid. Shame they stopped the Esprit range
  24. There are two ways to look at it. 1) is grab a cheapie so that you pass scrutineering and hope you dont need it. 2) Grab a more expensive unit just in case you need it. The cheap ones would not put out my ass hairs after lighting a fart. Those that have had the misfortune of a fire know that the extra dollars are worth it, could be the difference of containing a fire until the big boys arrive on the scene and extinguish the fire
  25. Yeh, the pics are with the car on a hoist. It is a 27mm swaybar. Where the bar is at full droop with the links disconnected should be where the bar stis relative to the sump. as soon as you connect the links and drop the car. Links are fully extended and the bar pretty parallel with the ground so, maybe its an R33 bar or something. Perhaps they are similar enough that you can fit them, but different enough to have this result LOL, maybe this is why my shocks bump stops are so healthy, swaybar hits sump before the shocks get near the full travel. Is now making me wonder whether this is the reason my car was locking brakes so wildly as i was effectively limiting front suspension travel under brakes Anyway, off they come...nto sure what to do with the sump. Probably not a problem, just dont like havigng a sump that looks this way Then have to thnk about what to do for a new swaybar, might just go a Cusco fixed one and modify it for adjustability...
