  1. Spotted GD2ILA on AUS Day going towards Fitzroy.
  2. R32 GTR's are coming down in price as the years go by. You can get a R34 GTR for as low as $40 000 + afew grand for compliancing, Road worthy etc... But you pay for what you get, but still if this GTR is $14K and your mechanic and state roads checks it all out and is fine then you got yourself a bargin. Bare in mind tho, its a 18 year old race car, things will need replacing.

  4. I just make sure the engine oil and radiator coolent level is topped up. Don't give it much stick, just take it easy and if there is a car wash I sometimes get the high pressure hose and give the car a hose down and blast the FMIC with cold water to get a bit of heat soak.

  6. I use to use Shell Optimax 98 until my mechanic told me to use BP Ultimate 98. Now I use BP Ultimate 98. The car seems to be very smooth and performs well on that fuel.
  7. Must be a big ass catch can... I use to have a catch can next to my battery and the brace that holds the catch can is bolted under the battery brace. Best I can think of is to slide the battery across towards the radiator coolent reserve tank to give youself as much room to fit it.

  10. You know Zele International..? A car dealer in Japan who sell mint (and I mean mint) condition and looking cars. Majority of the cars are Nissan's mostly being Skyline GTR's with low milage and almost brand new. ATM they are selling a R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur with 16km's on the clock and its unregistered. They sell Complete Packaged cars as well built from the Nismo Factory in Omori. For example, you can purchase a R34 GTR or I think you can take you GTR to them (or any other Nissan if they have the Specs for it to be tuned) as a S-Tune Sports Resetting / S-Tune S1 / R-Tune R1 or a F-Sport GT. All Nismo upgrades. Zele also did the Diablo Orange coloured R35 GTR + a list of performance parts to go with the car. Now this 370Z looks awesome, I like what they have done to it. The rear of the car looks so aggressive and the titanium parts look great.

  12. V-Spec's came out in 1993 and V-Spec II's came out in 1994, both with Brembo brakes. Thats a 1992 model. Its says aftermarket intercooler, I just take a closer look, can't really tell from that pic. "Garret GT2530 turbos with HKS actuators", I'd take your mechanic along just to make sure and ask the sell if they can prove...

Spoke to the owner of the Soarer, he said the engine was a rebuilt with a single high mount turbo conversion (Again I was talking to one of his friends and the turbo is similar specs to the HKS T04Z turbo), fuel injectors, coil packs and ECU are all still stock. + you knew Spring Motors is not a "Happy Dyno", as you know Kris LOL! Should be laughing at the Monaro (296 kW) fella how his friend said there all "Jap cars", you win easily. Well the Soarer (300.7 kW) and the R32 GTR (321 kW) showed him whos boss. Anyway I got some pics and I post it up soon.

  18. Moneypit - Im sure its a cat back not just a muffler... if thats what your refering to..? I don't have a pic of it from under the car, maybe next time when I see Tim I can take a pic of it. Well as opposed to my BLITZ Nur Spec which just roars on idle LOL! I can say the Ganador is not too loud.
  19. I gota BLITZ Nur Spec but for a R32 GTR, its atleast 3" if not 3.5". Great for exhaust flow but loud. gtr13 that Veilside Tear Drop Exhaust is awesome! Also my friend Tim GTR on SAU has a cat back titanium Ganador Exhaust system on his R34 GTR Nur. Again, its atleast a 3" if not 3.5". Has a nice low rumble and opens up when the accelerator is down. Good for a few flames too. LOL!
  20. Oil Pessure is probley one of the most important things to watch if you wanna start lapping the track. To make sure you are getting enough oil pumping as your engine and turbos rely heavily on it while thrashing it down the track. Oil Pressure will only go up when you start up the car and revving it down the track. From then on it varies, depending on the track, how fast you drive and how heavy you accelerator foot is. It only goes down when the car is on idle. (In my opinion) As for the gauges I recommend for track would be, Oil Pressure gauge (As said above) Oil Temp gauge (To check how hot your oil is getting, if its gets very hot, you best install an oil cooler to keep it at stable / lower temp so you engine and turbos perform smoother) Water Temp gauge (To monitor and make sure the engine does not get too hot and over heat) Boost gauge (To make sure you car is boosting at the level you want it to)

  25. ^^Thats what I don't get. So the Power to Weight Ratio for the R32 GTS-T and the Mini Cooper S Turbo is fine to drive but both being turbocharged... I thought the "New" P plate laws state you can drive any turbocharged car... High powered V6 and 8's.
