  1. I remember there was the SEVS Law, 15 year old car rule. What can be imported under the 15 year rule ? Anything as long as it is older than December 1988. Also, there are still a handful of 1989 / 90 models listed in stock which have import approvals issued under the 15 year rule before it changed last year, and these can still be imported under this rule. Registration of 15 year old cars We always suggest with 15 year old vehicles that an allowance of about $1,200 be made for the modifications required prior to registration (which can be done by anyone). These vary from vehicle to vehicle and State to State, and may include the following items: o Seatbelts o Sun visors o Child restraint points on the rear parcel shelf o High level brake light o Catalytic convertor o Driver's side mirror changed from convex to flat o Unleaded fuel filler opening restrictor o Side intrusion bars o Dash dimmer switch o Engineer's sign-off (some States only) If you are uncertain about what needs to be done for a vehicle you are considering, you should ask the registration authority in your State for further information. Costs of the work can then be determined by contacting a workshop prior to going ahead. While you can make all the changes yourself, we can of course recommend a reliable workshop in your State should you require assistance. Performance modifications 15 year old cars with performance modifications simply need to get through your State's registration process. The 15 year rule is separate to the new import scheme (SEVS) so there is no need to remove performance modifications for "compliance". However, each State has it's own rules on what level of modifications are acceptable, so you should check with your State's registration authority if you are unsure. For example, in SA which is the strictest State, any vehicle must be completely stock standard when registered except for wheels which can be aftermarket (but no more than one or two inches larger than factory). - http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/modul...rticle.php?t=11 I got my compliancing done at Carizma International, so ask David who is a member on SAU and see if the rule applies to you and he can let you know if it needs to be done...
  2. Yes I think Silver car would go nice with Black. Will look tuff and probley the best choice. Bronze is a good colour for it too. Sliver wheels and Silver car, its pretty much what stock looks like. Don't go White, you need a darker colour for abit of contrast.
  3. Cool man, thanks for that update! Yeah I talk to a guy on Fast Autos Forum (FAF) and he is now on my350z.com and he is thinking about the supercharger if not twin turbos. They are quite the popular car over in the USA.
  4. What colour car you have? I could give you an idea of what with go well / contrast. TE37's you can get in Silver, Black, White and Bronze and there are some custom colours aswell.
  5. Is it just me or is it you always have something shit to say to my post...
  6. The best I go is you stock spoiler or replace it with the R32 GTR Nismo Boot lip spoiler. It will give you a nice, clean or smooth look.
  7. O'Briens Windscreens fixed mine, Just give them a call and ask if they have any for a R34 GT-T in stock and they can come fit it for you. It cost me about $330 for my R32.
  8. They are like any other aftermarket wheels, but I believe it is Rays Engineering who make the wheels, do not make them anymore as there are the Nismo LMGT4's now hence why they are rare. Nissan/Nismo would have used them on their Skylines/Fairladies (Z cars) with their racing events like with the R34 GTR and the 350Z JGTC, they use Nismo LMGT4's. I would keep them for sure. Also Revhed01 has a set of White Nismo LMGT2 wheels and looks very nice.
  9. Thats something which is quite unique.
  10. LOL! I should have typed 300ZX (Z32) Didn't mean to confuse you. Thanks
  11. Happy Birthday Buddy!
  12. In reguards to saff cossie post, I actualy saw 2 tankers / trucks, taking the BP Ultimate fuel on the Westgate bridge this morining at like 3-4am today. I think Doncaster and Templestowe BP still had the Ultimate in stock.

    R35 Vs M6

I see. Cool man! You gota point there, with the price tag towards the other cars. Why pay so much when a Nissan can do the same if not better job.
  14. Im sure an aftermarket body kit place can custom make one for you... But I wouldn't do it.
  15. Nope, which kinda sucks cuz the Z32 was Twin Turbo. I think this car would have been crazy if from factory with Twin Turbos. Guess Nissan was saving it for the GTR, LOL! But as Bluprint said, aftermarket companies have made TT Kits for them. I think HKS was the first in Japan, then other companies did it and APS (Air Power Systems) did it in Melbourne.

    R35 Vs M6

So you drive a Skyline..? But you love Porsche... Or you drive a Porsche..? What I'm trying to say is that, you love the Porsche but for you own reasons you drive a Skyline..? (Speculation) A Porsche is not in your budget, so you opt for something with similar performance..? Yeah... Cool...

    R35 Vs M6

Well it is a Skyline Forum... LOL! Like with any other car forum I guess. I really don't understand why you are on this forum when clearly you are in favour of Porsche.
  18. Spotted SKYL1N down Doncaster Rd. I was in my Lancer GLi, haha! BTW Your car is loud! LOL! Also lately I have seen afew 4 door R35's (V35).
  19. Thats probley why I use BP too, hehe!! I haven't filled up yet cuz I haven't ben driving much lately but if BP is out then I just puts some Mobil Synergy 8000 in.
  20. ^^ LOL! Good job there buddy, its a Sleeper for sure! 316 kWs, faken, you are DSTROYing everything. Hehe!!
  21. ^^Yeah the ADM S15 did not come with rear wipers but had those ugly red brake reflectors on the rear bar. Just off topic but in reguards to the ADR requirements, my R32 GTR is a '90 model and did not need side indicators on the front guards but needed a rear parcel shelf brake light, but from '91 models and up, you needed side indicators but no need for rear parcel shelf brake light.
  22. LMAO! Yeah well "SHY" just sounded so familiar to the MR2 I saw and you said you saw SHYSKY weave in and out of traffic, cuz like I said before the MR2 is not all that shy on the road LOL!.. Well the MR2 must have been "SHY", something, can't remember. Anyway, cool!
  23. Happy Birthday Micky D!
  24. You tried pouring in Fuel Injector Cleaner into you fuel tank? Just run your tank down to about a 1/4 then put in the injector cleaner then fill it up full.
  25. LOL! The Italian... Thats a first time joke I have heard about LOL! Child restaints in a box... Well then, no baby seat for you in that car and its probley the last thing you want in a GTR anyway LOL! I have seen some shitty jobs done with the child restraints, some compliance places just bolt it through the cover of the rear speakers LOL! Mine are bolted behind the speakers. Don't worry about it too much, unless you want a baby seat in. I guess the only way to see if you got the intrusion bars is to remove the inside door panel. As for you side rear view mirror, just get you mechanic to take it out (if you can't or don't wanna break the mirror) and get them to push it inwards to make it flat or just replace it. You gota point there. Quite true.
