  1. You hoon! LOL i even had the correct voice while reading that!!! I know that feeling! Yes, $600 for second hand Nismo centre, $350 to rebuild and reset as 1.5 way! There is a guy that had one on Ebay for $300 with $50 postage but it was Kaaz 2 way, a little louder than most but work pretty damn well!

  5. So before all of these vids came the Friday and Friday night, once again another epic effort from JEM to get me to the event but also a quick thanks to DVS JEZ which was kind enough to let me break down in his workshop for a while lol So, the ECU was picking up an issue again and i was pissed off, the same sort of issue as before and i was ready to give up. So we checked the front fuel filter at Jez's and although it was dirty it was not blocked, Jez luckily had stock on hand so a new filter was added and i was on my way again. (Queue skids and Gate)... Everything was sweet for a while then 40mins into the trip it started leaning out again, This made me wonder as everytime the car would play up it would be after around 35-40mins... We tried to combat this with fuel cooler and bigger fuel system which certainly helped BUT there was an underlying issue we hadnt found. I limp the car to JEM while watching the AFR's like a hawk, they were not great but for light cruise they were doing no harm. Once at JEM the guru (Adam) jumped in the car and we went for a run with the laptop, he noticed it was lean accross the board and immediately said it was the injectors, this worried me as there is no way the shit was getting through the Ryco filters and to the injectors... We took them in for a flow test (AGAIN) and the results were not good, they were all around 1200cc with shitty spray patterns, while speaking to the injector guru he mentioned they were down on flow from last time and when we checked the previous results we found they were 1300-1400 last time... At that time it clicked that these were meant to be 1000cc XSPURT injectors, WHY were they giving those readings? So the call was made and as a result we found we had been supplied the incorrect injectors from the beggining, side by side with the 1000s they looked identical and no way i would have picked it but due to the part number they were identified as a troublesome 1600cc injector (I think based on the indy blue style) and from there things started to make sense. The guys were brilliant as always and immediately started working on a solution to the problem, we were able to make the choice of any injector and as i plan to keep the 34 for many years and push it too its limits etc SO there was no point staying with 1000s when we had the chance to go bigger, although the bigger injectors were much harder to fit and also not as easy to tune (Dont want to make Adams life too easy) i opted for the big boy 2000cc injectors which Dean was kind enough to use the new ones waiting to go in his own personal car just to get me going... It was getting late arvo and the injectors were finally in and wired up, I am sure it had been a long farking day for the guys but due to the fact i had Powercruise booked they were not going to give up.... The car was strapped to the dyno and the tuning was ready to begin... By this time it was night and i honestly thought i was leaving the car at JEM and getting a train home BUT Adam re-assured me i was going to powercruise and that it would be fine... Due to having a full flex setup we could not do a full tune as we would have been there forever BUT a thrasher tune was chosen just to get me going and the fun part began... After running the car up and being pretty happy with the results and the fact the car made the power so easily it was time to make the trip home.... Initial thoughts were FAAAAAAAARK as the car left on full power, felt so good to get nailed in the seat again and have the AFR perfect, it was a long cruise home after a little fun on the way to get fuel and i was home just after midnight.... 5hrs later i was back up and showered AND the car was driven to the track, the car made it and was faultless all day, the rain made it pretty boring but to be able to enjoy the car and thrash trouble free was quite a good feeling! We had planned in removing the smaller stickers etc and just run the bigger ones BUT after the night we had i CBF and just ran the car in the filthy spec you see above. Whats next? Well as the car still needs a full retune it will likely get a better dump pipe at this stage! As much as id love to accidentally slap a GTX3576 on it, i would just be pushing the internals harder than they need to be pushed, remembering i have a 100% stock headgasket and bottom end... More to come soon - DVS JEZ - Gauge fitment and wiring Suspension - New balljoints, bushes and bearings Interior - New Handbrake etc Paint - repair boot paint and tidy up appearance.

  10. Not a big help to you but the DBA4000 are an amazing rotor! Combined with the A1RM they squeal! Combined with the HPX they dont and still stop well (Both are QFM, hence not a major help) Anyway, rotors get thumbs up, pads i have NFI
