  1. I saw a really awesome R34 last nite, it was a purpleish colour from memory, and had the funky rear lights. I JUST stopped at the red light, because I didnt realise it was red because I was looking at this thing.
  2. My question, do you really need to go to the larger brakes? Wouldnt some good rotors, recoded calipers, good pads, and a good new fluid be enough?
  3. I just had this conversion done in my cefiro. I had my mechanic do it, but he didnt go nuts with charging labour, and I had to do the clutch, fly wheel ect, my standard tailshaft was stuffed pretty bad, so then I had the extra cost of a 1 peice. MY conversion totaled about $3500... inc labour. Anyway, we used the standard cefiro crossmember, just added to it. We used the naravra speedo drive = 32702 - 02G17 pinnion assembly , brand new from nissan, $22.00 . Just needed to take the r33 gear off, and put it on, do that how you see fit. You need a R33 clutch slave cly too, I got that brand new off the shelf from nissan for $81.20 or something. To have my standard tailshaft modded was about $250-300, but it was stuffed, so I ended up with a full brand new 1 peice for $450.00. The clutch was the killer, that was about $1150.00, but new fly wheel, clutch, and recoed clutch plate, all done by Jim Berry. Hope that helps.
  4. If you have one say round Christmas time I'll come down. I MIGHT even bring the barby with me
  5. What about M1 Males?
  6. Hahahahahaha nice one man But yeah, when will we get the break away club/s? They are always worth a good laugh!
  7. Didnt some of the R31s have this too?
  8. $450+gst from memory. That is FULL new 1 peice shaft tho. They quoted $300 to shorten my orginal one, but that had something wrong with it, so we went the single peice.
  9. I honstly cant see how the chicks clubs even got started. I would have thought there would have been too much internal bitchiness for them to even get off the ground. That said, I still wanta take fernwood (or whatever) to court for being sexually discrimitive.
  10. I dont belive this is taking the mick out of anyone or thing Erin. I belive this to be a stand against womens 'rights'. They feel it is there 'right' to have everything men have and THEN SOME. One example being that fernvale or wherever gym place. Im going to sue those barstards for not letting me join! Deadset as if Im going to be interested in 30 middle aged women who are on their 4 kid, and are looking a bit flabby. All those male pools just off the side of the beaches that were around ages ago, they are all male female pools now, but there are still female only ones! What is with that! I think we should have a protest tomorrow, in the city! Lets show those Uni people that they arent the only ones hard done by! POWER TO THE MALE RACE!!!
  11. A spool is a locked diff is it not. Anyway, one of my mates has a locked diff in a fairly fast car (10.7sec) it is welded. Now his problem with it is that he feels it is not balanced properly, as it is very difficult to get the welds even. This is where a spool would help I would think. Going by what hes saying anyway.
  12. So whats it going to be called? I think it needs a really catchy name. Boost beer bellys boys club or something? We need something to compeat with those chick clubs, like driven by heals and that.
  13. Yep correct, I got mine at $81.49 or something at trade price.
  14. Id also look at RB74 pads, and maybe some slotted rotors, and a good brake fluid. I did that and my god does the car pull up. Depends tho, if your not a hard braker then should be fine.
  15. Going that you have the bigger engine, which brakes do you have on the car? The stocko ones or say r32 or something?
  16. I belive some company makes a 'blister' kit for the r32 4 doors. Dont hold me to it tho.
  17. Yes I have one, and yes its going back to be rebalanced... as it wasnt done properly 1st time round. Why do you want one? I honistly feel not advantage with it, other than I cant do 110kmh atm, so atm it is a good thing to keep my licence. Looks prettier too.
  18. Rite on it is. I've already spent a small fortune on mods, and the car already had at least its value in mods already on it before I got it. Just TRY and get one with a bigger motor or gearbox, that will save you a LOT down the track.
  19. LoL, I dont think we CAN have our own cruises, otherwise things would be REALLY lonely The skyline people were a bit uppity on the first one I went on, but as I tell them, my car goes round corners better than most, is faster than most, looks better, and has more doors And in some cases is actually more skyline than their skylines.
  20. Ahhh, Scott. He USED to run TSR before it went bad. He sold it, it went bad. Scott does really know what he is talking about most of the time. I dont agree with a few of his ideas, but hey, handeling is subjective.
  21. There is actually a learner driver 300zx, and a S2000 up here So a skyline wouldnt be anything special.
  22. Speaking of which where is my access! I paid my dosh! Sure I can wait for the pack, but special sections, thats a hard thing to wait for!
  23. Or are you just slow James and didnt read the other posts? What fun to have two tho. We could let them both fight it out or something? I personally feel more a part of this one than the old one. As I was here from the first page, it means I wont have 5000000 pages to read first to know what everyone is on about.
  24. Good work man! At long last a CA31 brake booster stopper! I must say there is some serious points in that one. I shall check the money pot closer to the cut off date, but I should be rite to get one. Im really impressed with that
  25. Isnt there the standard waste land sticked up the top??? Or is this like a spare one?
