  7. I have coilovers and one of the nuts on one of them keeps coming loose. Could be something simple as that, just a loose nut. (behind the wheel? sorry had to say it)

  9. Roy! I just had a tremendous thought! More weight would make more load correct? More load could = less lag! [edit] also Mark on here (summoner) he was using a RB30ET box. He said its the same as a RB25 box just without the double syncros. So a bit stronger than the RB20 box, and not quite up there with the 25. But Im guessing one lot less syncros should be less weight.
  10. Listen to Roy, he knows what hes on about. And if you dont want to listen to Roy and annoy him at the same time. Put a stock RB20 turbo back on, and save for an RB30
  11. Ugly, and I think its a chop. Have a look at the drivers side light area, on the bonnet. It looks like its the spray can thingy off MS Paint has been there. But yeah, lines do not flow at all.
  12. Just like anywhere else. If you dont give them a reason to pull you over, you most likely wont be. Wearing clothing that doesnt fit, with your arm out the window listening to 'thug rap' really loud and a hat on, expect to fit in to the stereotype and get pulled over. I havent been pulled over in over 12months in my bright red loud import. Anyway back on topic. What about a single that is equal? As in the front and rear is the same, wheel size, housing size etc? Now assuming the turbo is set up correctly to say something that is more off set, but still suited properly, which would be better?
  13. A Z32 box is cheaper? I thought they were exxy as and also the pick of the bunch, but too hard and too costly to put in, as in rb25/26 box being the better cheaper option, even if they are a wisker weaker. No idea if its true tho, just what I have heard/read. Id also be looking long term Roy, I mean if you ever do get sick of the RB20 (god forbid!) and go to the RB30 or something, how would a beefed up RB20 box hold then?

  19. Wanta be a guineepig? And then let me know how much clearence there is so I know if an rb30 will fit Id realllly like to know if its the SR or CA one, unless they are both the same, as atm this is the next suspension mod, its still understearing a bit, and has heaps of roll now its raised.
  20. Exaust, fuel pump, fuel reg, 12psi off a bleed valve, and a bit of pipe for some cold air to the pod. 145rwkw. Keeping in mind that was a hot day, and the bit of pipe for cold air does bugger all to nothing on a dyno. My goal is rb30 and 300rwkw. and to be the car to be a bit of a track monster.

  23. Dude its arse. I personally wouldnt waste my money on an exaust manifold with just a highflow unless its a race car and thats what your limited to, and you need every little edge you can get. That money could be spent much better else where. Say an ECU, or say some new cds or something... The only time I can see an aftermarket manifold coming in to play is when the turbo doesnt bolt on, or its a big sucker and you have the money to spend to get a nice tuned lenght manifold that will pulse to bring the turbo up on boost that tad quicker. But by that stage you have probably done a hell of a lot of other things to the car.
