  1. Get an Oats brand one. When my mum was doing Enjo thats the only thing that was better, was the chamois. We have the enjo one tho, works ok, so if the oats one is better, should be good. I think bunnings or BigW would have them.
  2. Marty wins! Im a little suss about theifing barstards atm so I wont put mine up as yet. But its in the progress of getting semi finished by the end of May. Only thing missing will be the boot install, thats a fair bit more money and I want it done at the same time as retrim. Good to see people using infinity and MB Quart gear!
  3. One of those.
  4. Some people say that, other say rev the tits off it. Others say dyno ONLY for the first 50kms, as in, tow it to the dyno, use an engine dyno if you can. Some say easy for first 500kms then flog it. Etc etc. I really dont think there is an actual way to run the engine in properly, there are so many different theorys.
  5. And by the looks of things a Bride seat also? (pretty big thing to forget ) But yeah, for whats on the car thats a bloody good price, I know I wouldnt let mine go for that little.
  6. My little arms at the front were ___ and they should be like / (just not as exagerated) so basically now the suspension works, before it was hit a bump, in to positive camber. Really I dont give that much of a rats what it looks like. Winners always look good Just get them to lower corners rather than raise them I guess...
  7. I might go have a look at Browns Plains see whats happening. Take the pushy or the pulsar down.
  8. Yeah... as I think SydneyKid or Roy explained once when I asked the question. Basically think of the car like a table. If a table is unballanced it rocks, likewise with a car. Just as the car has suspension (or say a bit of carpet on the table, it sits flat) Where the corner ballance works *with hight adj suspension* is the raise and or lower corners to get the weight distribution correct, (like wise with the table, you cut bits off/add bits so its level). Im my cars case its fairly front heavy, so we were also able to bring the weight backwards a bit by rasing the front slightly more than you would a car with better balance to start with. Real world effect is hard for me to say, as my car was raised about 40-50mm the same day, so my suspension started to work how it was intended to. But the car feels a lot more controlled. It cost me $260, which included a wheel alinement.
  9. Not even. I want TAXICAB, and be stuffed if Im going to live in WA to get them.
  10. Funk... http://www.qldstreetcar.com/forum/index.ph...?showtopic=8323 Dunno if it helps.
  11. I think you missed that one dude. Like I know paint can be expencive, but bloody hell, you could buy another skyline for that much! End of the day, if the place cant paint, and cant do good prep work, and dont do the right stuff after painting, its gona look arse anyway.
  12. Is the underbody getting detailed too???
  13. Id say a camgear is wasted to a point with out some form of an aftermarket computer/chip to get it working properly. Anyway, Id see it on a cost to worth basis. I wouldnt spend $3000 to get 10kw, but others would, as that $3000 is the last bit of money they can spend, as in, nothing more can be got out of the engine until that is spent, or thats it, no more after that. Other things, reducing weight or drag, doesnt actually increase power at the wheels, but makes that power more useful. Then getting the power to the ground, money could be better spent getting that 180kw to the ground rather than getting more power thats simply going to be wasted. Other things some mods are almost useless until others are compleated. Like say I got a big mofo turbo, I might get say 40-60kw more. Far power to cost on that. But then if I spent another say $5k to get a rebuild, Id be looking at another 50-100kw potentially out of that same turbo mod. Just too many variables.
  14. Id like to know what you can actually buy... Like if I were to go serious Id want a shock that is... Hight adjustable Fast and slow rebound adj Fast and slow bump adj The little spring that goes above the main spring, etc. I mean Roy, how far do you want to go? I've found tho, when I had 450lbs on the front, and 350lbs on the rear, that was WAY too much, I didnt even notice the shocks had no oil, it was that stiff. Now I have 350lbs in the front, and 200lbs in the rear. Rear tyre wear is pretty even, so its not squating too much, front seem firm, handles nice. The internals of the dampeners tho are custom made, and set up to the springs, but are not adjustable. I found tho the thing that had the most impact was the corner balance, and rasing the car. Sounds a bit suss but I feel like part of the car now, just throw it around etc, no probs. Id probably go for sway bars. Im finding now with the hight Im getting roll. Different cars, different suspension set up etc, but gives you an idea on my experiences.
  15. He could get a laural, or a cima. Id like to see an Infinity Q45 done too
