  1. If anyone has any tricks to get the Superpro castor bushes in let me know, will have a good crack at it after work (as we have a press here). But it looks like I am in for some fun...
  2. Increased boost with a tune or just an increase in boost?
  3. Glad you got it sorted, now I know how to do it too! Good luck, feel free to update your build sounds like you are going about it the 'right way'.
  4. Wish I could help mate but I am not at that stage yet. The guy you want to get in touch with is Sydneykid... he should be able to help (good old handball). Mike
  5. FYI that is what I paid too in little old Adelaide for exactly the same, V88, MAP sensor... etc. so I would say Paul you are spot on. Interesting about the crank, HKSA??? Anyway, keep the updates coming!!!
  6. Or you can do what I did and just remove the air-con all together, so much more space in the engine bay and it weighs a good 20kg too (as an estimate). Mike
  7. Wow some one has sand in their vag! Anyway, recently I have read a lot of info on inline 6's and the more I read about them the more I like them. Especially the way they are balanced with crankshaft design. It seems a bit disappointing how BMW in the new M3 have gone to a 4.0L V8... kind of hor the GTR went to a V6
  8. It is definitely a triumph of function over form, I would not call it ugly though.
  9. It cost around that much before it had variable vane turbos on there, but I know what you mean. Imagine buying one through Porsche! Another thing to note they are only tested as far as Porsche's R&D goes. Which is not to say it is inadequate but it is still new tech. in relation to petrol turbos.
  10. Of course they can, BW make a variable vane turbo that is on the new 911
  11. Touche'... that is what I am going to do until one day I can get a respray!
  12. I agree, with the first bit. But I think you will find there is less room under car, perhaps slightly more clearance to the ground which is what I think you mean. When I get to the point of upgrading turbos twin 3" all the way to the back of the car... wooohooo!!!! "Ten Four" for $250 you can't really go wrong, buy it, fit it, if it is too loud for your liking then f**k it off for something more suitable.
  13. That is the exact same place as where I have a bit of rust on my R33 GTR too mate, you are not alone! Mike
  14. I would find out a bit more info before you commit and hand over cash!
  15. 4" from cat back will be pretty loud, I have a Trust Power Evolution 2 (94mm but close enough to 4") and it is pretty loud, you will get defected. Depends if it is 4" with a few decent mufflers in there to be under the dB limit?
  16. Sorry mate didn't get your PM, don't know what happened there, just SMS me if you like. Mike
  17. Gday, Are your AFMs shagged? Then today is your lucky day! For sale a pair of AFMs off my R33 GTR. Have been sitting on my desk for weeks now, were in perfect working order when I took them off the car as I switched to a MAP sensor. $250 o.n.o for the pair, pick up or can post at buyers expense. Contact via PM or mobile 0432 562 025 I am aware the photo only shows one, the other one is on my desk at home (this one is at work). Thanks, Mike
  18. Might work up the courage to do the below some time... http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/111861-bi-xenon...to-r33-gtr.html
  19. Yeah no joke, this guy has put some serious time effort and money in his GTR trust some one to s**t all over it and tell him to put twins back on.
  20. Yeah local wrecker has a pair coming in the next couple of weeks, 10 people lined up to buy them. He said he might just put them up on ebay so he does not have to deal with the bidding war personally! They are slightly damaged too
  21. Hey mate, you got and photos of the suspension, and a price? Thanks
