  1. Post up the numbers of the ecu
  2. if ive missed anything let me know cheers Buy another Nismo and run 2 intank.
  3. If you're talking about the viscous lsd as found in the S1 (and S2?) Stagea it should slot straight in with your 3x2 axles. If you talking about an active LSD from a V spec car forget it.. as above... it is driven by a hydraulic system that you don't have
  4. ?? I was under the impression that the vlsd ones ran 3x2 bolt pattern. Anyway if you have 6x1 GTR axles should be easy to pick up and fit a GTR mechanical lsd (like I did) for about $300.
  5. Don't have Hicas myself but have a look at this: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/topic/22193-hicas-diagnostic/
  6. 547+ awkw?!! Do you have a 1/4 mile time???
  7. Yeah but have you got the right pistons? As Darrin says never mind what it says on the box actually measure the distance from the pin to the crown (compression height) . Ask CP what it should be for the R33 piston and what it should be for the Neo piston and establish for sure that you have the right pistons.
  8. Has it got a stock blow off valve? If you accelerate slowly so that it doesn't boost do you get the sound when you lift off (I am assuming you have a functioning boost gauge)?
  9. The only rear mounted radiator I have seen was on a MB500V8 and it was boiling! Pipework everywhere and a major pain to install and maintain I would think. However anything is possible with enough time, money and will.
  10. My figures are basically SK's settings. My understanding of Toe is that its measured at the treads hence in mm. Rear toe can be zero to 2mm toe in so if Jezboosted has rear toe out he may find it makes the back wander a bit. My actual settings now are a bit different as I have set it up for the track with camber arms front and rear to give it about 3 deg of negative camber as I use full slicks on the track and can't be bothered changing back and forth!
  11. Yep but he's apparently using the R33 head.
  12. Don't think they are as good as a mechanical one but apparently you can shim them to tighten them up. If you are putting the whole diff head in make sure its 4.08 the same as the front one.
  13. I'm not too sure about that. Find an experienced RB engine builder and ask. You may be able to get away with thicker gaskets but find someone who has done it.
  14. OK now have a good supply of oil pump drive crank collars - SAU price AU$80 with free postage to any street address in Australia. I also have a range of top quality CNC manufactured (in New Zealand) oil supply restrictors: blank 1.0mm 1.2mm 1.5mm SAU price Au$10 each plus $5 posted to any street address and for any number (1, 2, 3 or more). I can give you guidelines on sizes etc but the responsiblity remains with you (and your engine builder).
  15. What's on your mind?

  16. The Neo and RB26 have then same rods and a piston pin height of 30.3mm The RB25 has a piston pin height of 31.3mm
  17. Yes Neos run the same rods as RB26. The critical difference is the heads. Do you have a neo head on your R34 block?
  18. The block might be the same but the rods pistons and heads are definitely different. It has proved difficult for people to get the correct forged pistons for the neo - they are usually not available off the shelf and have to be made hence a long lead time. You may find that your cr is in excess of 10:1 and the shape of the piston crown is not suitable. Did you compare the pistons you put in with the ones you pulled out?
  19. And change your brake fluid - very few shops do this for you. I suggest Motul RBF600 but any new fresh fluid will be an improvement.
  20. Took my car to Hampton Downs yesterday - best lap of 1.24.22 with 240kw. Hopefully will have around 300kw next time. Anyone who hasn't tried a track day should give it a go - great fun to be had hammering it flat out without fears for your licence!
  21. They are legal in NZ. You may need one or two sets of these if the spacers are not 66,1mm like your hubs: http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/car-parts-accessories/wheels-tyres/other/auction-459371995.htm
  22. Here's RIPS solution! (Not suggesting you copy it though!
  23. R34 can be Nistuned - read the nistune website and the threads on NistuneR33 cannot - see above S1 Stagea is a major problem if auto - ref to the Stagea section.
  24. Nice looking car. I generally prefer my S1 but that looks better than the S1 260RS models I have seen. Also prefer the rear spoiler shown rather than the semi detached ones ususlly seen on 260Rs. Would like to see it with roof bars gone.
