  1. Yeah non metallic. Dont have a polisher was going to do it by hand.
  2. Nah its going yellow now, the reason no clear since its a drift car it will constantly have touch up jobs from damage so it is easier repair without having to also worry about re-applying and blending into clear coats.

Just have a few q's for any expierenced painters, Im respraying my car in acrylic with no clear finish so I want to know how long after Ive sprayed it can I cut polish it and is there any specific type of cutting compound I should be using. The paint shop told me I could cut it 1 or 2 days after Ive sprayed it and some other people have said you need a few weeks for it to cure before you can cut it.
  4. Arp what? You just use new std manifold bolts if thats what your talking about. So are u saying that you put it all back all back together with a few brocken studs and now want to remove it all again to fix them?

Running ryco for 3 years on e85 never had a problem I change after every year track season and cut them open to inspect and they are perfect so definately nothing wrong with them, ofcourse if you just switch to e85 you need to change it after a few 100ks since it picks up some shit but after that no worries. Heres a pic of my filter from last year.

Youll have to remove them youd probably have more chance to bend and damage the lines if you try to muck around changing manifold gaskets while its there, aslong as you dont put excessive force trying to refit lines in ways they dont want to sit you will be fine. Change the turbo to mani gasket aswell, I would change the studs to if you have it off already might aswell do it since they are pretty cheap. What bolts are you talking about on the turbo? the dump pipe ones or the manifold to turbo ones? either way if they look fine you can just tighten them up. Also good idea to replace all the banjo bolt copper washers with new ones. Lastly adding a screamer via those cheap split dumps on a stock turbo is a waste of time since they sound nothing like a real external gate screamer and alot of those cheap dumps cause the wastegate flap to jam up.

  17. Here is a pic of mine relocated to the where canistor was before ive got no problems(its has the sock cover on it). I also did run a 90 degree barb fitting off the pump in order to not kink the hose as it can get pretty hard to re route it to the front.
  18. Ended up testing my new SS2 for the first time on the track this weekend and as expected its performance was excellent gave it a nice hard time. Here is a short video of it in action. http://youtu.be/6ItPIoim5nw
  19. Unless you hit a big puddle and water splashes hard you wont notice any problems and even if you do and abit of wAter goes into the afm you might start to have a missfire but will go away once it dries up.

  22. What you have pictured are rear subframe brackets you already have them on in your car thats a std item.
  23. Yeah i would say the dofference is in the manifold and ext gate as i run the atr43ss2 also with brae mani and ext gate and my curve is very similar to that SL curve.
  24. I did mine how the blitz boost controoler manual recomnds with gate top port goes to out on controoler solonoid, gate bottom port to turbo housing and finally source close to throttle body to solonoid in port. Holds boost perfect.

Definately must have an issue if your killing 3 044s in a year ive had mine for 3 years as my surge tank pump with no filter in between lift pump and surge and have no problems and pre engine filter is relatively clean yearly. You probably have a dirty fuel tank and that might be getting into the 044. Have you cut open the broken 044 and checked the internal filter what it lookss like?
