  1. hmmm, i might have to get the tape measure out
  2. meh, it'll probably end up in the too hard basket, not enough m35 parts like that floating around down here plus i'd need to remove my washers etc, etc
  3. best bet would be to send yours to hypergear in melboure and get steel wheels put into your stock turbo changing the turbo over isn't that hard, just the water lines are a pain to get to
  4. i want some 20mm ish bolt on spacers or some wider lower offset wheels (9 inch gtr d1r's please )
  5. hmmmm, well if we can have m35 rear wipers maybe we can have front ones
  6. some ppl pull the mesh off cos they think it makes turbulance (i think) your voltages sound about normal but your peak seems quite low (unless you didn't gun it)
  7. bit of overkill i think in the past i just hit them up with a bit of wd40 and use a shifting spanner (cos i don't own a 22mm spanner)
  8. what happened to his windscreen washers?
  9. dunno, it needs a flush its the same as this http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=16849&cat=&page=1 so probably $200, its been on the stagea for about a year now
  10. your also supposed to either disconnect the battery or unplug the abs module if you got any air in the abs you may also need to cycle it too (something that is done from the nissan diagnostic thingo)
  11. anyone got a spare 33 radiator? gonna pull my alloy one out cos it takes too long to warm up and the stagea only does really short trips now pm me!
  12. if i'm up north around then i'll come for sure, just wont have the stagea tho might run the 31 tho (if you need spaces filling up)
  13. i think all the gw oils are good at degreasing is what i was trying to say i'd go the synx 3000 for a skyline (20w50 is too thick for me)
  14. i know its more local but DrDrift used to fly round aus doing tunes in major citys for the whaling fleet (read r33's) because their boards can't be nistuned but can be chipped by DrDrift Just let the jap guy stay at your place also, my corolla sounds much more like a tractor than the stagea
  15. holy degrease batman, put some of the $15 gulf western into my new corolla daily i haven't even put 2 tanks through it and its gone black i'm pretty impressed with it, i've been wanting a car of my own to try it on for ages
  16. i've been thinking about buying one of these kits for ages now http://14point7.com/ it will give you an accurate display of your afr's which is what you want to trim with your safc
  17. why not all chip in and get the guys from g-zone to fly down with the equipment?
  18. a quick way to check before you pull your wipers off is to pull the blower motor out (1 plug and 3 screws) i had water in the blower motor because that green locator sits directly above it hope that saves you too much messing about
  19. all skyline racks are self bleeding, turn the wheel lock to lock a few times and you should be all good http://www.speedbleeder.com/ you guys should invest in some of those, i think it cost me about $30 for 4 of them last year and bleed the system with the abs unplugged if you have abs sb1010 is the nissan metric ones, i bought mine of the us ebay
  20. i was mainly guessing that it was auto from the fact that its a series 1 c34 which did not come factory manual and require a lot of effort to convert to manual, plus its cheap, i can't believe this hasn't sold yet bummer about the merc, thats the kinda thing that put me off quite a lot of cars i see for sale
  21. a safc is only a bandaid solution if you want a cheap option then there is a way of making a z32 ecu run the rb25's and the z32 ecu's can be nisstuned gt gratage will do nistune install and tune for $1000 but thats for a straight forward install (rb25 neo or s13 etc) have a look on the nistune site tho, pretty sure it says what you need to do nistune are underrated and a lot of ppl are pushing decent numbers with them, they also let you keep the stock funtions for things like aircon and cold start and once chipped are as tuneable as most aftermarket ecus
  22. the hooning legislation basically says they can book us for whatever they feel like its a shit law but not much that can be done someone should probably go talk to the police face to face
  23. we had a lonnie one last year that i organised but because i did it through a forum there were a couple of cops in a couple of spots along the way i was leading and the first set of cops were just setting up as i went past and clocked a couple of ppl at the tail of the group, further down the road i got done for ~108kmh in a 100 zone (thought the rural road i was on was 110 ) best way to do it is to tell ppl the rough distance and disclose the route on the day, maybe even do it through facebook messaging would this be a hobart meet/cruise or lonnie or both? if you got it big enough it could be both, lonnie meet and hobart meet, head to campbeltown, meet there, head to the east coast, regroup, the split our various ways or head out st marys pass nd drive back through elephant pass but yeah, heaps of options
  24. would have to be auto for the price, and its a series 1
  25. well im in lonnie nd i'm pretty quiet this week drop me a pm next time your down this way
