  1. been running the syn-x 3000 for a few days now, it goes well engine is nice a quiet but not sluggish, definitely worth a go
  2. syn-x is in, runs just about as well as the sougi but for half the price (will probably need changing twice as frequently tho) win for a street car
  3. i know the 33 rear strut braces don't mount to the suspension hats, they bolt down else where keen to see the development of this, seeing as i was too poor to get it very far over summer
  4. syn-x 3000 is in, sounds nice will drive it soon but i think it should be good, just letting the oil drain down from the head to check the level $40 all up for a oil/filter change is pretty good i reckon
  5. epa fine is $1000/cyl +gst for no cat iirc sometimes they have mobile test stations
  6. thats good to hear, $32 and in stock at autobarn will be going in tmrw
  7. how much to make me one? i was thinking about buying on in other news, i grabbed some of the GW syn-x 3000 this arvo, $32 for a semi syn - will see how it goes tmrw also grabbed a meguires clay bar kit thing, should have super shiny paint soon
  8. so has anyone used the gw syn that autobarn stocks? the syn-x 3000? i think its only about $30, i might give it a go (can't be any worse than nulon)
  9. pm sent
  10. you should ask him for the price of a full setup that guy was selling rb25 timing belt kits with waterpumps for $250 delivered (usually $500 here)

  13. how about these for the m35 folk http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-NISSAN-2010-370Z-Z34-RED-FRONT-BRAKE-CALIPERS-40TH-/200574761971?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2eb32ffbf3#ht_3971wt_1025
  14. i've got plastex (sp?), bought it for the headlights but i thought i'd give it a go on the c-pillars and it was good
  15. also, c34 owners should buy plastic polish and use it on the plastic cover of the c-pillar - it goes shiny
  16. i've done 0-100 on the ecutalk display and got 5.65, gotta love awd take-offs with a clutch, 4000rpm and slip the clutch a little real world time is probably a tad slower as the dash/ecu under-reads at 100kmh (~95kmh)
  17. Should be, mine is basically stock and it was faster than a 350z in a straight line
  18. extend them up into the plastic to complete the volvo look
  19. yeah but you only start getting near the peak at 3000 rpm, mine is nearly all factory you'll probably see coils breaking down at lower revs in a stagea too, compared with a skyline due to the extra load on the motor
  20. i'd use the 3M calliper paint, its good stuff then see if you can get a "Nissan" sticker off ebay or something then clear coat 3m calliper paint over everything
  21. i'd say coils they will die at max torque (which is when you get max cylinder filling = max air/combustion stroke) which would be also just as you ramp onto boost (3000-5000 rpm)
  22. Just moved into a new house and the neighbours thought I was driving a yellow volvo Got some funny looks when driving down the newell highway to tas too, especially in the smaller towns
  23. this is the connector for the atessa bleeding in a c34 (unplug it and it will run the motor continiously )
  24. No internets in my new place yet
