  2. not sure about that http://www.google.com.au/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=dry+ice+in+tasmania&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&redir_esc=&ei=XiGtTbSiMOTdiAKss4zDDA a few places by the look of it i've never done it but i've seen a few diy's for it, you can use normal ice but it makes everything wet
  3. i was thinking of putting in red strips in the footwells (match the stock dials and doesn't affect night vision) but i couldn't be bothered with the wiring (not the biggest fan of wiring) which strips did you go with?
  4. dry ice + blunt chisel + hammer = bye bye sound deadener
  5. unfortunately, has the best 4 cyl petrol motor toyota had to offer tho (4age) 100kw + 1000kgs = 6.2l/100km (highway)
  6. just threw some $15 gw 20w50 in my new daily (4age corolla with ~290,000kms) runs well i don't think you can go past it for cheap higher km motors just annoying that most cars take over 4 litres of oil tho
  7. don't mind, i can swap mine over if needed pm me tho, my topic reply notifications don't work
  8. somehow this has found its way onto my driveway...
  9. he is in lanceston mate i drove it and it was a brilliant little car, just not what i was looking for
  10. i bought a toyota much better on fuel than the stagea unfortunately
  11. sorry, highland lakes road, turn around when you hit the gravel, it wont take you anywhere but its a good road (you could go to liffey falls, i got my 32 up there )
  12. pretty sure 32 and 34 4pot fronts and 2pot rears are the same
  13. i'll be down in hobart tmrw to look at a toyota (its gonna be my daily) fingers crossed that its ok, i don't want to keep looking any more
  14. you will only have troubles if they try and put you down in the lower decks, but if you ask nicely they will let you stay up top drive from launceston to scottsdale, thats a great road, and lake highway is supposed to be good too i'd go from launceston down to hobart via the east coast, swansea is nice, its all pretty nice down the east coast
  15. going to buy a new car tmrw but its a toyota and fwd (can't be choosey for $1000)
  16. you can put a line of whiteout across the face of the tyre and it should wear off evenly if it goes from the middle first - too much pressure, from the shoulders - too little

    Rays Lock Nut

i don't think you can even order new ones because rays makes so many my mate had the same problem and rays in japland said they can't help (but he didn't know what type it was)
  18. how cheap? the gw stuff that supercheap stocks has decent detergents in it and will be about as good as the valvoline stuff but only $26
  19. pretty sure the thermostat from nissan will be more than $30 anyway (tridon one was about $30) and the nissan ones have a bigger opening in them too
  20. supercheap is selling the syn-x 3000 for $26.48 as of tmrw (easter catalog) cheap if you want to try it, i'm using the same system to judge goodness that told me that nulon was bad - my ears and the feel of the car
  21. you won't find any info about rb's into them from aus cos its not legal here, i doubt it would fit tho because the v6 is much shorter than the straight 6 the m35's run proper wagon rear suspension (individual coils and shocks to allow the strut towers to be shorter/not there) build a vq35 and turbo it? vk would be awesome, dunno if it would fit tho, the m35 guys say that the stock dump comes close to the firewall on the vq25 i'm sure someone will come along and give more info about the weight nd stuff soon
  22. has anyone tried the "auto-tune" on the nistune? i think you can go in and set target afr's and it trims it to suit (when its hooked up to a wideband obviously)
