  1. http://nissan.epc-data.com/stagea/
  2. i'd be trying with shanons if they ask about a car club say your a member of skylines australia and sound like an enthusiast they are supposed to be really good but picky about who they insure
  3. just mainly pointing that out for ppl thinking about going for an 044 or 040
  4. the main thing to remember is that the c34's don't have a cradle like the skylines but instead have a box that clips to the bottom of the fuel tank so going any bigger than stock will be a big pain to fit nicely without hacking up the box
  5. the 040 is too big for the stock setup get the walbro, a guy down here in tas just bought a genuine one off ebay brand new for $140 same size as stock, easy to install, proven and cheap
  6. i run e10 95 in the stagea and keep the boost to 5psi most the time and it runs fine even on 7 psi its ok, down a bit of power compared to 98 but its fine
  7. +1 for the faded yellow under the bonnet also, check if the rear lights have 2 reversing lights or 1 reverse 1 fog if its 1 rev 1 fog its from a cold area and will have spent a decent amount of time driving on salted roads - hence the runs on the strut towers i'd also be wary of the colour, i love mine and it makes it even more unique but it does make it hard to sell when you want to move on
  8. true, could the fronts be jacked off the ground?
  9. what about the nissan rwd method? i've used this just for driving about and its definitely rwd just need someone to jack their car up all round, try it and see if the fronts definitely disconnect and don't turn
  10. odd request here can you do a tune for a series 2 manual stagea? but, tune it for 95ron fuel? pod and 3 inch turbo back exhaust, thinking about going up to 10psi in the future i'm down in tassie and bp ultimate is about $1.70/litre thanks
  11. adr black wire from car accessory install was about $400 for the stagea was pretty much the cheapest black wire i could find (that ppl said did a good job) if its insured with justcar its supposed to be an adr approved black wire alarm installed by a pro
  12. haha, so much for the ae82
  13. tried wiggling wiring while the motor is running? worked with mine, i had dodgy wiring going to the afm
  14. oops, meant to say with a wideband with wideband, trim fuel but don't touch timing
  15. i like the look of their fuel adjuster too i'm thinking that plus the wideband could let me get some better fuel consumption and a bit more power
  16. massive lollllllllllllllllls at the bulbs that came out of the corolla i've never seen a bulb like that before!
  17. i've been thinking about getting one of those for ages now i was going to get the original diy one last year but never got around to it, then they brought out the diy2 so i was thinking of getting that but then i thought that i would have too many gauges and things in the car maybe i'll still get one and put it in any way wanna do a writeup?
  18. i'd say you could trim the fuel map but i woudln't do the timing yourself without some form of knock sensing equipment subscribed for more replies
  19. 16x8 +30ish i think
  20. corolla is alive! also found where my coolant was going in the stagea, rad cap was leaking
  21. i'll take 5 but seriously, i will
  22. yeah i saw that i'd jack the car up all round (a la hover stagea) and see if the fronts are turning at all this will tell you if its taking all the pressure out of the transfer case
  23. let us know how it goes, thats what i was thinking of replacing mine with or a g3
  24. did you unplug it and pump the break pedal 5 times?
