  1. Yeah, they use a tapered thread and sealant goo so it's hard to get out
  2. I'd post the thing in the 33 manual but I've only got phone internet atm, gotta get the internets hooked up
  3. Tighten it up first The 31 loosens it's up and need nipping up every few months The stagea seems to be fine so far, I can see gasket goo so maybe that holds the screws in place
  4. I had to put a sleeve if pipe over my breaker bar to get the transfer case filler bolts out and even still it was hard work I thought I was gonna break the bar or pull the gearbox out
  5. no worries, just filling up the internets some more
  6. I didn't say it was the best way but if your desperate it works
  7. You can tap them round with a flat screw driver and hammer
  8. I have a bike but the weather is gonna get shit soon so I will need something with a roof
  9. Unplug the afm and see if you can get it started without it If it hours with it unplugged its the afm at fault
  10. I went to the servo, then saw that bp ultimate was 159.9 cpl and put 95 in I might also sell it and but a shitbox to run around in
  11. I've put a msl-r rubio gasket on minr and it was fine A lot of ppl say the permaseal stuff is good, I'd go siren that route
  12. Well we made it to tas (been here a few days now) I'll be trying to give the car a break but my patents are down to help tidy the house and keep buying things from bunnings etc. Just need to do the timing belt and oil now. I think I'll try the gw syn-x 3000 (autobarn for about $30)
  13. Many typo's in that post Stupid phone
  14. Block the cooler and drew is it does it?
  15. thanks mate, its easy to spot I spotted a bayside blue stag in tamworth as we were driving in. We've just left dubbo, 400 kms to wagga wagga :-), car is running well too
  16. Get an r32 actuator 10 psi straight up
  17. Sound like coilpacks for sure You can wrap them in insulation tape to check but you you'll want to replace them if that solves the problem
  18. Drives fine still, averaged 10.8l/1000 from the first tank which included going through some twisty hills The yellow colour I bought was absynth yellow, not a prefect match but better then what it was (use white primer underneath too, yellow doesn't cover other colours well) We'll see how it goes today, is gonna be a heap colter today, and less hills now too
  19. Made it to tamworth The rad flush I did had moved all the crap about and the I think the rad is blocked, saw 111°c on the ecutalk display and had to start using the heater to cool it down 38°c out side and the heater on full = fail, just 1300 kms to go, temps are between 80 and 95 now, just don't have time to get it sorted cos we are tight on time :-( We'll get there tho
  20. yeah but reportedly the ksports are ok usd is so weak atm that you may as well get stuff there so many options, the 34 gtt brakes stop my stagea well so they should stop a 33
  21. its ok, mine was for under the mirrors and a scrape on the bumper so was better than it was will take some pics but i won't be able to get them up for a while
  22. car is loaded up ready to head off tmrw 1776 kms in 3 days
  23. there is boost automotive in launceston, but i'd avoid them like the plague not all bad storys from them, but enough that you don't want to take your chances (plus he will try and sell you a haltech for $1,000,000)
  24. gtr brembo's are so overpriced you can get 34 gtt brakes for about $400 (310mm) or the ksport ones from justjap are big for cheap (~350mm rotor and 8pot brakes, $2k) but someone has started a group buy on willowood 6pot 332mm kit for $1.8k which would be pretty good (it uses 2 piece rotors so they are lighter)
  25. just had a look at those siemens injectors and other sites list them as a "pencil" spray pattern can you get anything in a 4 hole with a good pattern? it won't make more power but it will make for a better burn and be more efficient
