  1. i can't find any info about it on an rb25 tho which is odd and the plenum is still hot because it still has the coolant lines running through the top half and i'm concerned that its messing up the area into which the injectors fire

Hey Guys Just wondering who has had experience with the competition clutch clutches? www.competitionclutch.com i can get a "stage 4" for $505 delivered but i am thinking maybe i'll just got for a "stage 2" kit comes with pull to push converter too (manual rs4s stagea, stock gearbox is same as r33 gtr) anyone used one? how was/is it?

  4. yeah, what i was trying to say is that where there is a thin gasket in the diagram, on the car mine is about 10mm thick! i'll try to get some photos up
  5. i would if it was between the 2 halves of the manifold but it looks like a real pain to get to just want to know if its stock or not also, i found where my leak is coming from, just need to work out how to get to it :-/ and i washed the beast
  6. you will probably loose power in the 25g tho you need nice long inlet runners for torque and going to a ffp will shorten them quite a lot adapting the stock inlet would probably be the go if you want to get rid of the j pipe
  7. another strange thing discovered on the stagea ~5-10mm spacer on the lower half of the manifold anyone seen this on an rb25 before?
  8. hey guys having a look over the stagea yesterday and i think there is a thick (~5-10mm) spacer on the lower half of the plenum (plenum to block) has anyone seen this before? (where the boxed part is)
  9. the stock fuel pump may have been running out of legs on boost and may not have been keeping up with the injectors so you get low pressure in the fuel rain and poor atomisation by the injectors you may also want to do the 14v fuel pump rewire check out the diy section, it applies to most cars
  10. i can measure up the ones i took off mine but i think they are the same (place i got them from had the same p/n for stagea and r34)

  12. higher pressure = better fuel atomisation = more power with less fuel

  15. Had a look at the pcv valve yesterday didn't realise that it was plastic tho some of the rubber seal around it was missing so its temporarily re-sealed with ductape ^^^ This If anyone has a part number or solution let me know
  16. is it a t10 or t15? supercheap have some led lights in stock now that are very bright and very white bit exxy tho (might go ebay some)
  17. Defs not the heater core, just rain water weather strip is still in place i do get water onto the drivers sill tho but i don't think it gets into the car i reseated a grommet but i didn't think it was causing it, its sunny now so i won't know for a while
  18. Ok Has anyone noticed a common place for the stagea's to leak? i"m getting water in near the ecu/heater blower i had one grommit unseated but i checked the area after some rain and it was dry Is it likely that there is some rust at the bottom of the windscreen? (common problem of vl's)
  19. quick check hop in the boot and get someone to shut it (and let you out obviously) the light will probably stay on pull the globe out (p.s. i didn't read your whole thread so i'm not sure what you have tried or not)

  21. the ASI ones on ebay are supposed to be good for the money i bought a cooling pro one from justjap its ok but was a bit exxy at $370 i think (exxy for something that is still made in china)

  23. throttle shut the tps should read .44V but i'm not sure which wires that is across a good idea would be to grab either a consult cable or an ecutalk display and hook it up to a pc and see whats going on www.ecutalk.com does the cables and the display (display is soooooo handy) take a pic of the vac system and post it up, it will give us a good idea of whats going on
  24. Just wondering who is running an r33 thermostat in their r34's? My mate works at supercheap and on the shelf are r33 thermostats but r34 ones must be ordered in i looked through the tridon book and the only difference i can see is the opening temp being 72 (r33) instead of 76 ( think) all the other dimensions seem the same Shelf price is $41 for the r33 unit, book price is $46 for the r34 + freight If he buys it for me we will get 25% off too so will be about $31 Hay or Nay?
