  1. bc coilovers a few of the stagea bunch are running them and say that on the softest settings they are as soft as stock but are base and spring seat adjustable, damper adjustable, cheap and able to be rebuilt at a reasonable price too
  2. mines ecu's usually are tuned for a bit more boost and have speed/boost cut removed so putting a safc is fine a safc isn't the best way of tuning cos you have no control over the timing but if you need to add or remove a little bit of fuel they work fine o2 isn't too hard, just getting the dam thing out is annoying cos its in a bit of a tight spot and they are usually really tight in there
  3. Thanks guys I want aggressive fitment but I'm currently at stock height but I think I'm a bit lower cos the car is fitted with impul shocks and the springs seem stiffer than others I'll measure the height later
  4. pretty sure there was a thread and r33 fats fit if you end up buying a full set and only need the rear i could be interested in the fronts im currently rocking the mats out of my 31
  5. hey guys im trying to decide what offsets to get its still a while till i get them but i wanna know if im being to ambitious im sick of having such bad offset so im thinking... lenso d1r's, black 18x9 +15 or 18x10 -1 i think the 10's will be ouf of the guards but i've got a lot of room till that happens ppl seem to run 10's easily on 33 gtrs so i guess they will fit on the stagea? i ran the 10's through an offset calc and it said they will stick out 74mm more anyone running these widths? pics? hopefully this thread can become a reference point for rs4s owners Thanks, Tom
  6. i bought ebay ones, quality is ok but i don't think they will last long bursons shouldn't be too expensive
  7. yeah i've got the instruction book on pdf too nistune is the best option but not available for r33's yet power fc is the most common aftermarket but exxy at $1k+ used if your just chasing a bit more power and better economy then this should do the trick, seemed to help in my 32 also, your probably best to replace your o2 sensor if its a bit sluggish in the lower rev range, www.kudosmotorsport.com about $77 if you go pick it up from nerang (i think)
  8. hey mate i'll be needing a new clutch soon but i'm moving from tas back the qld so it could be a while till i have any serious cash to throw about pm me your best price cheers, Tom
  9. BUMP for Mic Buy his stuff so he can buy a 35r and sell me his current turbo
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Universal-Cruise-Co...0#ht_656wt_1087 looks interesting, its electronic too some ppl said that vac operated ones won't work as well due to coming onto boost and the unit needing vac to keep the throttle open
  11. x2, in for subscription got to drive from tas to the gold coast in a month and i'd love cruise control b4 then

    Help!

pull the hose that runs to the idle valve off and pump some carby cleaner through it, should clean any gunk out isn't is a common problems with the itb's to not seal properly when shut?
  14. if you can wait till mid november i can help you out mate i put one of these into my r32 and it was pretty easy only thing you will want tho is a wide band o2 sensor and display, you may be able to borrow one if you can find a mech who road tunes and is nice enough to lend it to you or you could go ahead and buy your own http://nistune.com/equipment-hardware-wideband.php check out the widebands that are listed on that site, they aren't as expensive as you think let me know if you want a hand, me and my mate can probable get your car up and running pretty well if you bring some beers for us
  15. if i remeber correctly, 235/40r17 were really expensive in any brand cos they are a weird size, 234/45r17 were really cheap cos they are used on a lot of cars with factory alloys just food for thought
  16. link to glassylite please im getting sick of polishing them fitted my sub on the weekend, good to have a ballenced stereo once again, just need to fiddle with the settings some more edit, also painted the rear brakes in 3m blue caliper paint (same as the fronts) and fitted them should have my speed bleeders soon and hopefully a firm pedal all the time soon after that
  17. true, but the surface of the pulleys may have become polished due to slip so overtightening them could cause damage to the belts and also to what the belts are running around to the op, are you tightening up the lock nut after re-tensioning the belts?
  18. ^^ nulon g70 or nulon g90 good stuff, helped my shifting when cold (tasmania + short shifter = hard shifts when cold) with the belt squeel, grab some belt grip spray from supercheap etc, helped the squeel on my 32 and 31
  19. ask the tuner, some will say use running in oil (saw some in bursons once, you won't get it from supercheap etc) some will say just use mineral and some will say use what your gonna use for the rest of the time
  20. na, i bought one from house of grafix in the us i bought a few different ones off them and put a subtle one on my car
  21. pedobear doesn't mean your a pedophile it just looks awesome or pedrobear he is even better
  22. if your gonna run a 10w40 give the gulf western sougi a go i realise i sound like a broken record around here but its good stuff compared to 300v and amazing once you factor in the price
  23. is pedobear is acceptable on jap wagons?
  24. Impulse by at jb hifi cadence x1 sub package - 300wrms sub, ported box for the sub and 600w amp $250 now i can take the bass load off the poor 6" door speakers
  25. im still rocking the gulf western sougi s6000 $60-$70 for 5 litres depending on your distributer - some will even bring it to your door for no charge its the same group as royal purple too (group 5 ester syn), nulon is a group 3 which is modified mineral oil
