  1. what does it need?
  2. once pressurized, spray some carby cleaner or soapy water on the joints if your running an atmo bov, make sure that the return is still blanked off, could have come loose or popped out
  3. boost leak probably popped a cooler pipe off you could make a contraption to pressurize the inlet side and listen for leaks
  4. also if anyone wants a specific page of the workshop manual with the characters recognized just pm me and i'll send you them i left my computer slaving away for a few days and i think it converted most of the images into a searchable document so now it can be translated into ingrish by google translate
  5. mine is the aluminium "race" jack, should have been $200 cos its reduced to clear (don't sell enough of them) just adjusted my handbrake on each hub and put some stop squeak on the back of the pads while i was there i adjusted the handbrake from memory, is it tight till the rotor wont move then back off 6 clicks?
  6. picked up a 1250kg aluminium jack for $100 (rrp $400) the joys of having mates at supercheap
  7. i guess so i'm sure qwk32 will pm you the link
  8. i think the wording is self-leveling but i haven't read the legislation in a while
  9. atmo bov = really rich on bov vent manual box = gears constantly meshed, clutch in revs drop, clutch out brings revs back up auto box = lift off for bov to vent, back on the gas, car is over fueled to bov release, stall out and fail doesn't always happen but quite often will if it doesn't, you will get black smoke on bov activation and you'll get a dirty rear bumper
  10. looking through the pics its almost identical to my car! (yellow rs4s with days front) sucks about the accident but you could prob make a bit of money back by parting it out the rs4s gear is all pretty desirable, gearbox, motor, manual console, handbrake bracket, clutch pedal and all the seats and interior are better than the stockers also, if you want to sell the drivers side door i'll definitely buy it so i don't have to paint mine good luck with it tho mate, hopefully its repairable
  11. pretty sure lsx/ls1 and xr6/xr8 injectors can be used in r34's if you space the rail out slightly have a look in the diy serction, there is a walk through on how to upgrade 34 injectors to some cheap but good ones
  12. an atmo bov is also more likely to make an auto stall as the gears are not constantly meshed (same reason you can't push start an auto)
  13. will do once a few ppl have it also downloading ABBYY finereader, should be able to scan the pdf and pull all the text from it and spit it out so it can be translated into ingrish
  14. i am the seed lol someone at home shut the lid on my laptop will seed when i can, i think someone has half a copy
  15. For those wanting the jap c34 manual Please PM download the torrent and use a program like utorrent to download the file (links your computer to mine to grab the file for those who don't use torrents) enjoy
  16. well i just put 2000kms on the m5000 and it ran well (tassie to the gold coast) fuel consumption came down to aprox 11.4l/100 from a neo powered manual stagea which was full to the front seats with belongings and it included driving through some national park and sydney and newcastle and it has a boost leak, im 99% sure (didn't have time to fix it b4 we left) all in all, gotta love the sougi products
  17. Packed the stagea up to the gunnels, just about to get on the boat for the mainland then 2-3 days of driving and will be back in qld at last also washed it b4 the trip
  18. Gave the stagea some love Gw m5000 sougi, new filter, flush the attessa and transfer case and new detron 3 for it Those drain plugs are in there tight as! O,h and also installed my cruise control , bit of an effort but should be worth it
  19. He lives in tassie if it has 4 wheels roughly the same size the cops are happy
  20. just ordered 3 bottles of m5000 for $43/bottle should get me from tas to qld
  21. i think m5000 is around $35 and s6000 should be about $60-70
  22. Just stumbled upon this http://www.cats-direct-shop.co.uk/lambda-sensors.php so cheap, can anyone confirm what size our o2 sensors are?
  23. mine has the conversion loom its about $45 and probably worth it, i can unplug and remove the turbo timer and only have to cut 2 wires
  24. how much can you do the drivers side door shipped to 4226 qld? if your anywhere near syd or canberra on the 8th or 9th of nov i'll take it off your hands
  25. on the thermostat housing? (or near it) one is for the ecu, one is for the temp gauge in the dash edit, the single wire will be for the dash, double for the ecu
