  1. Double unbroken lines with cats eyes, all they will probably say is you were to far to the right hand side of the road and crossed the lines. To hit it you would have had to be on or over the lines anyway. By the law of signage and street furniture its marked correctly. Sorry.

  3. Put a GTR badge on it, and a SPOON sticker, and a RALLYART sticker, and a Chevy bow tie as well. Sorry, almost forgot, put a big MOPAR sticker on the back window, at least a extra 50 ft/lb of torque there. You are also running the V10 from the Dodge Viper I take it ?

Awesome run, from black top to dirt then back again, the road conditions and traction levels changed about 300 times, with rock wall on one side and cliffs on the other, man, it takes a massive amount of balls and a massive amount of talent. Thanks for the post, I was on edge the whole time, and in awe.

In my experience a car from a yard has 5k added to it compared to private sales price, lots of people buy card and cannot keep up maintainance, servicing and rego, these are the cars you look at and low ball them, they need the money, you've got the money, its a match made in heaven. A lot of the trouble comes from people thinking they can get what they paid for it, it rarely will happen, no matter what people think in the end its only a car which is getting cheaper by the day. Shop smart, shop S Mart.
  6. Would depend on a few things,how much flow you have, if the single outlet is causing a restriction
  7. Baffles are the way to go if you can, steel wool will need to be cleaned which would be a lot harder than throwing in some diesel in a baffled one and shaking. I've heared about putting the wool in a stocking but I'm not sure how it will hold up against heat and hydrocarbons. With 2 Baffles the flow will change direction about 4 or 5 times which should scrub a fair bit of oil. A cheap can is false savings if for a extra hundred or so you could get one which actually has some engineering behind it and not just made to look shiny with a sticker and make some company lots of money selling them to the public.

  11. The can must not be a restriction either, the return hose/filter must be as big if not bigger than the inlet side of the can.

  15. The GTT will be worth $10,000 in a couple of years, just like 33s are worth $7000 now. Food for though. For $15,000 you should be able to get a 300 + killerwasp 33 with reco motor and lots of fruit, or even a 34 with some mumbo, their out there.

From a novice point of view I thought sprints was initially built around road cars, those days are gone I assume and its whatever is the quickest being from dollars or talent will "win" the day. I understand some of the gripes people have, mine is people over/undertaking me mid corner in there race car when I'm in my daily. Rules are awesome, but rarely followed. My class would be "short fat men with more money than talent", I'm guessing that would be a big class.

  23. Alot of imports have dings in there rails from fork lifts moving them around in J. Better of getting a car with few good mods, for 8k now days you should be able to get a sweet 33, a turbo timer is useless and a defect in NSW. R34 GTT rims are win.
