  1. Google "nissan skyline engine manual" some where in all the clutter is a full service manual, I think its on a UK site, its to big to email or post and I CNBF looking for it myself.
  2. 1.6 THE CHAMPIONSHIP 1.6.1 The Championship is a time trial (super sprint) competition made up of three 'Events'. Each Event comprises three (3) rounds; therefore there will be nine (9) rounds in the championship. The Championship is divided into Drivers and Manufacturers (Nissan and Mazda). As stated before I believe the regs need more thought for a friendly driver training day with a sprint in the middle of it, Im all for the sprint but I believe the rules are to strict in some areas and not enough in others, also what other super sprint series has three rounds to a day, should be best time of the day as it is in every sprint event Ive been in or attended. In my opinion (I wasnt asked about the regs nor were anyone else I know of from SAU) the day could be run as per "speed of the streets" regs from Wakies own web site, or if its the sprint that extra rules are needed for then use a standard style thay SSCC, HSV use from CAMS only for the competitors. Im only new to motorsports so I could be wrong on lots of different levels, BUT, it just seems like this friendly day has some rules from places Ive never seen, CAMS have a tried and tested set of rules which everyone but us is using as a guide line. This supersprint comp between clubs is a great idea I feel, not just RENEW but Ive been talking with some guys from WRX club and HSV who think its a great idea. Im sorry if Im coming across as a annoying git, it may be because Im an annoying git.
  3. Good work guys, next time I'll get passed the "qualifiying" session so my times will count. Also what's with the non Nissan and Mazda cars doing in the list, thought this was a Nissan Vs Mazda thing as stated in the Regs.
  4. My time was from qualifiying ?, LOL, didnt know there was a qualifiying.
  5. How does the point score work ? Im just trying to work out how someone in the same group as me, who was slower than me, has more points than me ? Actually everyone has more points as I scored "0" Was it because I only did 3 laps due to mechanical issues ? I looked at the natsoft to compare groups and times, would someone please post how the scoring is done as its doesnt look like its on times alone. Thanks Mark.
  6. Hi my name is Mark, you are advertising your product thus attempting to sell your product, pay to be a trader or please do post things that insult our intelligence. Also a very unimpressive "how 3 piece wheels are made" story, Next time at least put some effort into your cover story. Mark (I'm not here to sell anything)

  8. As long as the tube is full and the container has fluid covering the hose it will be fine, there is a tut somewhere.
  9. http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_2159/article.html $15.00 special for the boat, the lip at the front detaches the laminar air flow over the vent thus creating a low pressure which inturns draws the air out from under the bonnet removing the hot air from the exhaust and aiding in creating a lower pressure zone under the bonnet for a more efficient cooling system. Or something like that, LOL. P.S, I think it looks OK but then Im old and blind.
  10.
  11. 22s are for rats and rabbits, 223 would be the smallest I would go, if you want to hit targets and drop them past 300mtrs I would even go bigger. Main thing to consider is what you are going to Target, distance to Target, and the terrain, small cal is cheap but only good for small targets whereas a larger cal will cost more per round but will take down the larger Target. You really need 3 weapons to clear out vermin, a 22, a 223 min, and a shotgun. I use to go hunting with my uncle and his idea was take everything but only use what you need. What are your Target species ?
  12. Slick are OK in the open class only Chubbs. You needs to come mate, passenger with me and tell me what I'm doing wrong.
  13. My opinion is the whole tyre thing should be binned, either that or run to CAMS regs for competitors. Put me in SVD. THESE ARE MY PERSONAL OPINIONS.
  14. Be good to watch, fly down in the morning, drink, fly home when I wake up.
  15. No to many good posts mate, how about something that doesnt involve you doing skids or loosing control whilst doing skids, come to TEXI and do skids in a safe and legal enviroment or to one of the driver training track days and you may have something of worth to post, you may even get some skills so you dont lose control and if you do you know what to do. When at TEXI if your launch at 7000rpm and keep it planted and if you have a 1.5 or 2 way diff and a good clutch you will leave 11s, I promise (unless something goes bang and then your on your own). AAARRRGGGGG
  16. Because it is being run as a super sprint (timing) / track day RENUW have used SOME rules from a standard type of super sprint reg sort of ? ! . SAU track days will be back to normal after this little comp, and will be more focused on driver training and taking a mate for a spin, as pointed out there are lots of clubs to do sprints and/or door to door style of racing, SAU is more about having fun in a low risk enviroment with mates where you can go as fast as you like (as long as your speed matches your ability). Still for a small outlay you can have piece of mind that if your car, someone elses car or if your mates hair catches on fire you can put it / him / her out and save your s hit from burning to the ground. $20 could save so much. I have 1.5kg in the car, .900kg in the kitchen, 2kg in the garage, you may say overkill, I say my sh it wont burn down.
  17. Transferred funds and faxed off form today, I will again endeavor to do a sub 1:10, I'm sure the car would do it easy, its the dodgey driver that's holding her back. Probably the last outing for my current set of semis too, I'll be needing to win lotto to pay for the next set, or I'll buy them from the good old US of A as the dollar is still looking bloody good.

  19. I hear that Just Jap have a black pair of R34 GTR seats for around 2K. Great value for money, nice and tight, no modifications to fit. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=19746&cat=387&page=1
  20. Unless you crash or someone crashes into you and your modified seat rails snap and you or a passenger gets injured but the insurance wont cover it, ect ect.. I got a rail for a Sparco at Revolution Race Gear which was OK (not good but still better than most after market rails) and it bolted straight up, then get it engineered and see if it passes, or even ring a engineer and see what they recommend first. Or just buy R32/33 GTR seats if you are not using a harness or R34 GTR seats if you are using a harness, unless its a R34GTT which would suck as nothing fits..
  21. http://www.motorcycleridingschool.com.au/forums/showthread.php?t=55389 Nasho is arse now, as are a lot of other good roads, speed limits dropped from 100 to 60, There are still some good roads but you need to drive for hours to get there, Snowy Mountain ranges are my fav.
  22. If you have the standard pull lever under the dash and then the lever under the bonnet ie stock, you will be fine.
  23. Ouch
  24. Bring it up to operating temp and test it, mine rattles like its got lose nuts for a while on start up but when its warm it quiets right down. Bit like me really.
