  1. Just dropped off the car to Autotech I have all the excitements
  2. Years of running and carrying a pack ended up screwing up my lower leg muscles, in the end when I was walking long distance the compartment stuff (sausage skin) that covers the muscles didn't stretch enough and the pressure started to cut off blood flow to my feet. Should be all good now. In other, more boost orientated news: the car is booked in on Monday for the charger, again, it cannot come quick enough, I've had to change the dates for getting the charger installed twice already, once for work and once for the surgery. This time next week should be fun.
  3. Got Solar Tint to install 35% Black Envy Ceramic window tint
  4. Fitted the Forza FP2 pads in the rear to match the fronts I put in last week Also purchased a little mechanic seat thingie with wheels for working on the brakes and suspension, makes life so much easier
  5. Your a lucky man Stay safe, and......send it
  6. Had a major service done on my lateral compartments +20kw plus improved throttle and brake control As you can see I am bedding them in now Also went with some tint, all the cool kids are going orange
  7. My dear, I believe you were also using common sense I tried common sense once, me and common sense never really did work well together, maybe due to the "stupid boy" paradox
  8. I'm curious on what comprehensive insurance is for a 20 year old car on finance? I would imagine alot
  9. Was just some cheap Johnny red mixed with Pepsi max I do overly opinionated when drinking cheap whiskey, well, more so than normal
  10. If it gets clicks that funds the SAU machine I'm happy to deal with it Without funding what would happen to SAU? As long as I'm not getting spammed with adds and shiz I say send it People get spoilt, or forgot about little things, like paying bills And yes, I'm drinking whiskey at the moment
  11. Finally installed the Forsa FP2 brake pads in the front Flushed the fluid and bedded them in Old pads were QFM HPX So far so good, good cold bite, good feel, seem to be a good street pad The HPX pads in the rear still have a bit of life left, I will try the Forsa FP1 in the rear when the HPX and done
  12. Mate, I'll be at the limits of my drivetrain, even with the built trans, with the 360-380kw that we are looking at making Unless there is some current undiagnosed issues with the current engine, it "should" hold together fine Fingers crossed - famous last words - hopefully- etc. etc.
  13. Sleep deprived brain fart on my part, 12 April....
  14. Looked at diary....booked the car in for the 12th March for the instal, tune and fuel pump upgrade.
  15. Cheers mate, all the hard work is done by the locals and the young soldiers we throw at it, all I do is point and the young-uns and tell them to "GO GO GO" I'll be returning soon though as I've got some medical shit going on that needs some attention, nothing serious, just minor maintenance on the old body. Oh to be young again
  16. The supercharger has arrived at Autotech in Clyde..... I'm in Taree Dooh Should be home in a week or so, I'll book in then and hopefully have it installed and tuned soon after In other, more disturbing news Seen a dead calf today, it was under a big cow, I assume its mother, the cow had its guts hanging out and an unborn calf was hanging out in those guts, I was like WTF, life can be cruel Did have the big sads for them
  17. Same same, even after I crashed and killed my 86, the cost for comprehensive on my VX SS went from $850 last year to $650 this year But, I have used the same insurer for all my cars over the last 10 years
  18. Rear pulleys are getting coated and final assembly this week
  19. Harley Davison had to remove their Screaming Eagle super pro tuner from the market, within a couple of minutes the aftermarket came to the rescue with a few options. You can still buy a brand new Harley and tick all the hi-po mods, cams, heads, intake, exhausts, hell, you can get a whole new big bore Screaming Eagle performance engine that the dealers will fit to your brand new bike, with a warranty, with a Maximus or some other tuning box supplying the tune. But, truth be told, if the dealers don't do it, the people who are going to modify their bikes would just find some local bike shop to do it anyway. Just like when people buy a car and send it straight to some speciality tuner shop for the "stage send it" As soon as you play with the tune the car or bike is basically illegal here anyway. What hurts is the heat seakers with pop and bang tunes, or coal burning diesels Idiots driving around going pop and bang and coal burning bring the heat, and the publicity Like when the authorities cracked down on all the 6" lift kitted cars, or the slammed cars, or the whistling BOV, ect. ect. What's more of a concern are all the old trucks that are cruising around the cities I know trucks that roll in the cities, doing runs from ports that can use 1 ltr for every 2km, and poors out more poisonous gases than 10 modified cars could in an hour These trucks are typically running 12 hrs a day, 6 days a week This is where the EPA should be looking, and the government should be helping by giving owner drivers subsidies so owners can sell their old trucks for new, more environmentally friendly diesel or EV for running trucks around the cities Meanwhile, I'm driving a modified old V8 and a modified Harley, so there's that........🤡
  20. Ordered from QLD at 1705h yesterday Sydney time, were waiting for me at work at 1200h WTF WITCHCRAFT
  21. Got bored this morning and serviced the bogan cruise "bike", changed the engine oil, 20w 50 and the filter, the chain case and the transmission with 80w 140
  22. What do you use the car for? For the amount of money you would spend getting 20hp out of the 30 with NA mods, you could have a good chunk of cash towards a little boost netting alot more, lots of kits available You would need a few drivetrain solutions though Hammer time
  23. Got bored and checked brake pad wear, rear were still pretty fat, fronts only had about 5mm left so.......got some Forza FP2 front pads on the way from Brakes Direct $139 delivered Not bhed, good price
  24. Fark the 3 pointed swastika pos Or sell up now and buy a 3 pointed swastika and regret????? The old Datsun is gold dust, any muppet with a job can own a BMW My 2 cents is to stop treating the old girl like a dirty bitch Not saying to not run her hard, just saying to not treat her like a dirty slart
