  1. I actually have the Espelir springs front and rear at the moment. Are they Factory Autech springs?
  2. Anyone in Melbourne have a contact for Springs for the front (and rear perhaps?) of an M35 stagea? I might have to buy some King Springs if no one can help me out with some factory springs... Does anyone know if Lovells or Kings make springs for the Stagea?
  3. Damn. Looks awesome. How much were the tyres?
  4. Hmmm. Interesting. Got any photos Dale? 245 is a wide tyre! (well for me anyway)
  5. Interesting to note: Axis Autech runs a 225/45/18 tyre which gives an approximate rolling diameter of 660mm (assuming no weight on the tyre though) I've been told you can run a commodore tyre which is 235/40/R18 (which should be cheaper) but the dia is smaller at 654mm Anyone know what an RS Four runs from factory? Is it a 215/55/17? (giving a diameter of 668mm)
  6. I know SydneyKid (Gary) doesn't work at his current place of work making the selby's swaybars, but is there any chance of finding out whether they still make these? Price was freaken fantastic!
  7. Oath. That seriously is nothing. They aren't even bent! Any wheel repair shop half their worth can fix that easy, and it wouldn't be that expensive either which is good. I've seen heaps worse than that!
  8. Well, went and visited the car today. The compliance workshop is right, it's pretty low at the front Looks like i'm going to have to take someone up on the offer of using springs to raise the front of the car. It is sitting low, around 90mm where the front A arm is, and where the front plastic 'tray panel' is under the engine (what the hell are they called again??) Also the exhaust is 10mm too low around the middle, so hoping the new springs on the front will sort this out. Please!? Let me know what I owe you... (or what you drink?) let me know when I can pick them up etc.
  9. They usually take a couple of months plus (well they do in Victoria anyway) Does this give you a chance to redeem some of your old points that you were due to get back? Technically (someone please correct me on this..) doesn't that mean you haven't been convicted, so the points haven't been awarded to you yet?
  10. Amen to that.
  11. I'll see how I go guys.. Will give them a call. I was even contemplating just getting some springs, but really I shouldn't have to.
  12. That's what I thought... Great big stinky poo poo heads. Is ride height part of the compliance? I thought it was part of the RWC? Regardless, if I think they are taking me for a ride, I might pull the car after they comply and get my local mechanic to do the RWC.
  13. Here are some photos of the car in Japan...
  14. Thanks Dale! I've given my contacts at Fulcrum a call, and they will get back to me tomorrow. Same goes for Wholesale. They are saying the car is below the 100mm I know they aren't coil overs, as I looked at the car a couple of weeks ago. To me it looks like the factory Autech springs/shocks. (based on my huge amount of experience at looking at stageas at auction from photos... )
  15. I have just been told by the company doing the RWC on my Stagea, it needs new bushes on the castor arms. I have been told the only place they can find them is from japan which will take 2 weeks. Does anyone else have a reliable source to get these parts locally? (ie can you fit new bushes to the original arms) Any help appreciated. Also, the car has been listed as 'too low'. I'm pretty sure it's just the factory Autech Axis springs, but has anyone else had experience with the autech version and minimum height requirements?
  16. I made my own Stainless dump pipe for my 1600 and getting the F&*(^King 02 sensor off while in the car was made extremely easy by dropping many F bombs... Don't worry I'm fluent.. Sounds like a good job.. Might take some photos and add to a build thread on here?
  17. Angus, Put me down for one mate. My preference is to have it looking factory stock for the ceramic coat.. To all the others who fitted theirs by themselves: Oh and I don't have a hoist, but it sounds like dropping the gearbox X-member is the way to go. Can someone detail the steps to go through?
  18. SR20DET from S14 and Datsun 1600 FTMFW
  19. I downloaded the following: GI (general) FI (fuel system) EM (engine mechanical) And just used google translate. Couldn't find a zac...
  20. Thanks for the responses guys. I have a copy of the S15 SR20DET manual (I needed it for my Datsun). It says use 95 RON. Anyone have a copy of the workshop manual/service manual which states 98 or 100RON? I've downloaded a couple of the PDF's for an M35 and couldn't find anything.
  21. Well said Aaron. Speak to a radar detector company and find out what sort of radar system they would have in QLD. This will help you at least answer any questions in court (when you represent yourself) about proving which car it was.
  22. I need to know what the minimum octane rating is for an M35 stagea. I'm getting a fuel card at work and have to justify using premium petrol by photo copying the workshop manual or something similar. Any suggestions? Feel free to include C34's as well. (we're a sharing bunch.. )
  23. Someone tell me where the Japanese manual is for M35?
  24. what about brake pads??
