So now you guys have the hindsight, what is the BEST trans fluid to use? iamhe77 was talking about some special additive for the fluid from Nissan?

Why do you need the aftermarket cooler? Do they typically run hot? Or if you are going to do some towing/hard driving?

So it's either the control box, or the solenoid.

So if you were going to buy a new turbo, what would you get? What size is the factory (or equivalent Garrett) What size equivalent would the factory highflowed be?

/begin rant: My first experience importing a Jap import has not been nice. I'm fixing every bloody thing on it. Doesn't anyone maintain their car anymore FFS? Spark plugs were stuffed, I think the shocks are stuffed (pretty much a given though) or a ball joint is stuffed, but what really gets me is the STUPID bloody compliance place that did the RWC, DIDN'T FIND THIS OUT! I would've thought they had to check this out as it is a safety issue. Even if as part of the inspection they would say "you'd better change this soon - do you want us to do it??" I don't even think they changed the oil... /end rant.

Thanks Scotty. I've checked already. Someone had a translated version on here somewhere. 10A was OK. Both of them (trunk lid opener, and trunk locking solenoid.)

IF anyone buys it, I'll be interested in the rear tailgate electronics and associated modules

Funny noises coming from the front of my car, so I think some coil overs might be needed (either that or some ball joints/bushes are STUFFED) Sounds like a piece of gravel is in one of the shocks rubbing up and down as I go over bumps and corners. Anyone got some coil overs they want to sell I think i'm on my way to around 500K's to 70L (14L/100K)!!!

Chris, Any idea where the relay would be? I know where the fuse is, but not the relay. Do you have a circuit Diagram? Perhaps I should buy the translated service/car manual....

Car is usually unlocked when I am trying to open it Don't have an aftermarket alarm. It was working and now it isn't! Any help would be appreciated.

You wouldn't think of repairing the factory one? Sometimes all they need is a bit of a clean out. Kero bath and actuate it a couple of times and then you should be right? The only other thing I can recommend is looking for boost leaks (such as cracked or damaged tubing on the pressure side of the engine. Regardless, keep us in the loop on how you go.

Axis is going great, but just recently, I managed to open the rear glass tailgate hatch section separately to the main tailgate section quite a couple of times, but now it's stopped working. I inspected the fuses, all are OK. I inspected the mechanism (removed the inside of the hatch section) and moved the mechanism from the solenoid and it worked fine. I suspect the solenoid, but would be happy to know if there is any lock or button I may have pressed in the interior which stopped it from working! Do the solenoids have a habit of giving up the ghost, and how easy are they to repair/check (thinking of just applying 12v to see if it triggers...)

Any recommendations as to what unit or what (if) i can fit the factory gauges?

How'd you go with the remote key Dunc? Might be good to let us know just in case it happens to us?

Yesterday I think I broke something? Anyone know where the fuse box is in the M35? I can't seem to get the rear separate glass hatch to open when I press the button under the windscreen wiper! It was working, and then just stopped. I think it might be a fuse, because nothing else could explain it. I removed the rear cover and had a look, and the mechanism is fine, so I think it's electrical? Any hints on what it could be? Driving me nuts!

Fitted 6 new NGK iridium plugs, oil change and filter, changed the radiator water and bled it, and checked trans fluid which was good. Feels a little more lively. When I pulled the battery terminal off, i've lost how many K's on the trip, so I can't find out exactly how many k's to a tank! DOH!

Got a weird centre console with an aftermarket Kenwood DPX-6100 (that wont close -HAHAHHAHAHHahhahahah) Firstly, I'm not sure if it's the right colour, and I would like to remove the Kenwood head unit and replace it with something more factory/OEM. I would like to get the original CD player and 3 gauge dash again. Can anyone tell me if the 3 gauge dash section would 'plug in' (as in the plugs/wiring loom would all be there) Can anyone advise on where I could get one or if they don't want theirs?
