  1. I'm trying to find info on this 1400hp gtr that was at final battle last week. My mate is throwing his weight around saying how connected he is in the car world and i'm trying to see if hes just talking hog wash to make him sound cool infront of me lol also i missed this 1400hp skyline when i went to final battle on sunday, does anyone have pics of it because i didn't notice any skylines that looked asif they'd be hitting 1400hp anyway.... its meant to be the fastest 2wd and 4wd car in Australia???? also he said its an R905 or something???? does anyone know what this is???? cheers
  2. its even got the lines going across the numberplate in the dodgey photo.... and RTA will not let anyone choose a numberplate starting as RTA, especially RTA.002 there are RTA cars from RTA.000 - RTA.999 also its a WHITE toyota Aurion = company car lol
  3. So this confirms i'm correct by saying this car is now deemed as a possible defect???? you really wasted our time replying to this with that reply???? There are people starving and your making random smart ass comments??? lol jkz I was parked and the keys weren't in the ignition That doesn't mean they wont get defected, just that they are running the risk of being defected, and their are people who get done for number plate covers.... even on these forums ive found them.... but i'm 100% sure that this rta car will never get defected for it where as if you get a smart ass highway patrol car you still have the possibility of getting done.
  4. Its hard to see but this RTA company car with the number plate RTA.002 breaks their own rules by having a number plate cover over the number plate.
  5. yup only recnetly,,,,,, it happens to be comming from the same side of the car where that same wheel support was bent when i hit the gutter (long story)..... anyway I was told everything was alright with it 6 motnhs ago when i got it repaired, i put an s15 wheel support in because they are better reinforced..... in the process the exhaust was squashed alittlebit so i guess it could be something to do with that aswell..... but as i said 6months ago....
  6. last few days ive noticed a creaking sound (sound like walking on wooden floor boards) when I accelerate from a stop, also i can recreate the sound when i have the handbrake on and i try to accelerate. The sound seems to be comming from the passenger rear wheel section of the car. I mate said it is most likely the bushes, although he hasn't seen the car. I hear a smilar sound when i drive over a bump, but i'm not sure if its my loose front mount that is making that noise.... any ideas would be a great help. cheers
  7. good shit doof, but i didn't see your car there?????
  8. Its county drive....
  9. Spotted a poor bugger in a White R34 at the BP servo on Church street in North Parra tonight at about 11:30pm getting defected by 2 cops in a blue unmarked Falcon, I was in desperate need of fuel but i knew it was suicide to drive in there and fill up while they had their heads burried under your bonnet. Then I spotted another unmarked Falcon with a sizable antenna parked in the bus stop outside Kings School, then when i drove past he started driving with his lights off accelerating and sliding all over the road with tyre screech, once i heard his tyres and noticed he took off with the lights off in hope to catch me with my pants down I quickly darted into the side streets (pays to know back streets of any area because 9 times out of 10 the cops are unfamiliar with the area, unless they grew up there or have worked the area for years and years), through north rocks, went into a friends driveway, turned the lights off and most importantly took my foot of the brake pad..... +1 for my beloved skyline, -1 for another unmarked police cars stupid driving endangering lives by driving like a hoon in a dnagerous manner and by not turning his driving lights on while driving at 11:30 at night on a public road (also could indicate DUI due to the fact they are taught that people drving at night without headlights turned on are generally drunk), and also speeding on a public road without any siren or any flashing warning lights on.... Disclamer: I didn't need to speed, all the zig zagged small unlit streets did the job for me,,,,, all he had to do is turn on his flashing lights and I would have stopped for him.... also I wasn't signalled or was their any hard evidence that he was indeed a police car after me, so why can't i drive through the back streets and park in my friends drive way and turn the lights off as quick as i can????? also i think i will change my number plates because I must surely be a target by now if he's ego was hurt for loosing the easiest tail lights to see from a mile away....
  10. i really wouldn't leave my car out around Sans-Souci, Kogarah, Rockdale or the Nulla..... plenty of cars falling of the face of the plannet around these areas..... Forget driving a skyline anywhere in the Shire full stop!!! get a car that doesn't attract attention from the backward yobbos or from the cops..... ive had nail pollish thrown at my car while driving down the kingsway on a thursday lunchtime,,,,, even over the last friday night my car got egged for no reason while I stayed at my gf's in Menai, and in the ambush my gf's 2006 Astra Coupe was hit..... down the road a 180sx with mags got hit on the same night..... This happens atleast once every 3 months,,, the crappodores and falcons in the area (even the ones parked on the same street were spared), and this area is allot quieter than miranda or nulla.... the car is immediately associated with wogs and with the yobbo attitude in cronulla your car would be a sitting duck unless its in a secure garage. sans souci, rockdale, brighton le sans, ect.... have always been a car boosting hot spot, not to mention defecting stations and highway patrol around every corner. Even a few months ago theres an import and HPV scam going around in brighton and rockdale area where people posing as copps are pulling these cars over, looking at the drivers license and getting their address, then stealing their car weeks later from their place of residence. Even their fake license plate that they used on the supposed cop car was an ex number plate from a stolen WRX.... I guess the decision is yours but I would at the very least get comprehensive insurance especially if the car is parked on the street here. also this rant isn't meant to cause a fuss, what ive stated is fact and unbiassed.... or maybe its allot of bad luck around me... either way they arn't import friendly areas.
  11. wasn't the WRX made a cop car in 1999, 2000 or 2001 or something.... there were only 8 of them and I remember them selling all 8 of them a year later.... it failed as a cop car, kept blowing gear boxes or something.... and an evo5 cop car sounds like bullshit..... there are lancer, magna (380) and camery cop cars but they basically only drive between stations, usually the sargents run around car,,,, very unlikely a non commo or falcon will pull you over unless its wreckless driving, run a red light or its a car accident..... still none of us should be tempted by any car to drag on the streets, everyone gives it a squirt when theres a wank beside you but if your an idiot you deserve to get caught..... ive given it a spirited acceleration a few times on the street, nothing dangerous, no tyre screech but i know thats still enough to get done.... but if you purposely wanna play with fire you have to understand you could get burnt... the entrapment law is iffy..... if the cops played by the rules there would be allot more drug dealers and murderers walking the streets.... id rather they ignored the entrapment laws to an extent and get rid of the idiots in our society or catch the idiots before they get worse..... i was an idiot, i used to speed everywhere in a kia rio, hardly a safe car to speed in, if i wasnt caught by highway patroll driving to work, fined $609 and 3 month suspension I'd hate to think what could have happend to me if i wasnt caught and i kept on speeding untill something worse happend somewhere down the track. speeding is strange, when you get away with it once, you might do it again a little faster, and alittle faster.......
  12. drove down pennant hills road with a white R33 gtst at midnight tonight, we had a little winge about the high number of cops on the road around carlingford....
  13. spotted a White R34 on Oxford street at about 2am sunday morning, had Skylinesaustralia.com stickers front and back and had red and white number plates also saturday night drove with a guy down james ruse drive and windsor road for 10 mins in a black non turbo auto R34 that was riced out with decals and body kit
  14. nope that wasnt me, but ive seen that car on pennant hills road before....
  15. Mobil 8000 (RON 98) $1.08 without any discount at epping station
  16. recruitment/job agencies are shit but almost your only choice if your short on searching time, there lazy and tend not to listen when you talk to them even though they write it down... I asked a few of them to look for a job for me (pathology industry, the only area not effected at all by the economy) and they seem to want to find jobs in other areas of science or unrelated jobs like a geologist scientist.... nothing to do with my qualifications... gf was also looking for a job with the threat of redundancy looming and she had an even worse time in the marketing field, atleast she wasn't made redundant so she quickly told the recruitment agencies (that should change there names to "False Hope Agencies") to piss off. they make up jobs that don't exist, make you go to interviews that just waste your time.... my advice is to use them but do not for the love of god rely on them unless you happen to know them personally.... also satanic has the right idea.... play them off and make them compete to find you jobs.... search yourself online aswell and research the area you are looking to seek employment and ask the potential employers by yourself if thereare any positions going and how to apply for the job.
  17. did you accidentally put cooking oil in it???? depending on modds and all that but no motor oil should do that..... change the oil and see what happens.... other than that it does seem to have similar symptons to a spark problem with the info you gave.... i'd check that if the problem doesnt go away
  18. tell him to get a 1970's celica, they hot looking machines
  19. my car got through compliance without a fuel nozzle size thingy in it and it was complied legit and went through the normal channels, can't see why there aren't others out there without the nozzle hole, anyway those nozzles always fall off if they don't use the right glue..... still gotta be a duche to actually fill up the car with diesel and not notice.... plenty of warning..... the 30 odd cents/Litre price difference should have made you think lol.... good luck with the flushing, there shouldn't be any engine damage because the car wouldnt run on that much diesel, if it doesn't run theres no damage being done.... the car will smoke after its flushed and the spark plugs might clogg up....
  20. hahahahahah can't understand how that would interest the kid seeing as his a gtr guy and being a kid he will only be interested in heavily modded cars lol.... especially not an auto non turbo lol
  21. not really the economy as much as it is crude oil loosing nearly 70% of its value since 3 months ago..... if it wasn't for bloody yanks stuffing the economy and our dollar was worth the same as the USD like it was would would have 70cent/L fuel right now (assuming the petrol companies would have passed it on) last night 30L of fuel/ $32 wohooo
  22. spotted a yellow steaga parked opposite epping station at about 1am this morning
  23. mobil at carlingford road was 98.5 tonight/this morning for E10.... 98 should be $1.12 already and should drop another couple of sence by tomorrow night by the time i fill up..... i don't dread filling up anymore lol
  24. Filled up last tuesday night with Synergy 8000 @ $1.12/L..... i was cheering that the litre volume and the price were so similar, since ive owned my car (nearly a year) i have been filling up every tuesday night/wednesday morning $50-$80 a week, last week it only cost me $28, i was cheering, i would have spent an extra $13 if i filled the same amount in 2 months ago.... usually i fill up 50 litres instead of 25 litres like i did last week so it looks like if fuel stays this price for a few months (which i doubt) i could save nearly $30 a week just on fuel prices.... its now time to increase the boost while its affordable lol
