  1. front/dump/high flow cat and exhaust, best mod ive done. easy fit. cheap. i already had a cat back system so i saved quite abit of time and money. my whole exhaust on an r33 gtst series 2 uses the original exhaust mounts. just jap bell mouth front/dump 3inch, Xforce 3inch highflow cat, fujitsubo 3.5inch cat back....
  2. what bullshit, but from what i understand is in Australia a broken law never gets forgotten and by law they can ask for the money if they have reason to think it wasn't paid, even if its a false claim and even if its 100 years later (theoretically). All you can do is show proof that you have paiid, ethically it is beyond reasonable doubt that no one would keep a fine reciept for 10 years so a decent hearing should rule in your favour. Although this being Australia annd seeing that our judicial system is pretty much farked I would still brace myself for paying the fine, it would probably be allot easier in the long run aswell. keep us updated good luck
  3. nah it was a pure white viva with central coast holden sticker on the back, she was seriously awesome though
  4. also as hills crusie found out last event, no one rolls up to saturday cruises
  5. nope, i dont trust other drivers on that road comming the other way in the night. 1. Its the shire so everyone is driving around drunk. 2. Highway patrol is a killer out there and i'm not driving my car near the shire on a night. I should be there depending on uni exams, i think they are the next week. Lets cruise down to Bundeena and have picnic, swim, i got the ORIGINAL GRIP BALL OOOOOHHHHHHH AAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!
  6. spotted a few today, bayside blue r34 gtt (dressed up as a gtr minus the rear wing) on parramatta road driving down sydney uni towards the city at about mid day some time,,,,, also you have a serious leak somewhere around your turbo or your blow off valve piping, also you were playing some pretty good greek music, or you need is some subs for it. about 4pm ish spotted a white r33 non turbo on becroft road at becroft heading towards epping (my ms's spotted you because she thought you were a rare decent looking skyline driver lol (B#*ch) also followed an 80+ year old female driver in a new holden viva from balaclava road right to pennant hills road speeding and gunning it, tail gating and swerving through traffic at atleast 10km/h constantly above the speed limmit (some times i recon she hit 30km/h over). One crazy granny that one, her car was from the central coast so i guess shes used to driving at highway speeds, she did well though, wish she was my granny. She only killed 5 p plate drivers in her rampage, dont worry ACA and today tonight will say it was the p platers fault....
  7. -1 for famous with experience. $1000 basic excess (last year was $600) $1000 age excess, $1000 import excess, $1000 hpv excess, $1000 single vehicle excess, $1000 stolen vehicle excess, $3156 per year comprehensive premium, i was with them last year, they wont reduce my premium even when i made a mistake and only put 20% no claim, when i'm up to 50% this year. Read your policy carefully, they wont cover any stolen claim if its not parked within 500meters of your house. also no one else can drive your car, not even my parents who never had a claim. They are a rip off. i'm going to just car because they cover everything without the confusing lingo, they give me cover on my extra parts i have put on the car without even asking, just by me saying what extras thee are and they increased my cover to cover what ihave spent on extras, famous didnt. also $1800 per year premium with only $500 worse excess, covers mmy car wherever in australia it is, pluss they cover me for $16200 where as famous only coverd how much i payed for the car, which means if the car is ridden off or stollen they will pay for new performance parts by giving me cash. and just car wanted to negotiate to winme as a customer, famous didnt even bother, even though famous is getting $900 commision for a $3000 premium as an agent.
  8. $1500 rego? $3000 insurance? for me its $275 rego fee, vehicle tax. CTP greenslip $336 (join sau NSW club and see how i saved $300 on my green slip, only costs about $60 to join so its well worth joining just for that info) Comprehensive insurance with just car @ $1800 a year, car is insured for $17k (thats what they valued it at so i'm not complaining), mildly modified. R33 gts-t series 2. cant see why you guys are paying so much, ask questions, dont just accept the first number they give you. hope this helps... and all this is in my name, im 22 years old, still on green p's for a few months, no accidents though.
  9. My r33 gtst is the first car i bought myself. My problem is christmass and new years are expensive times. I shouldnt have bought a car on the 14th of january 2008. because on the 14th of january 2009 insurance, pink, green slip, rego all has to be paid right after the hollidays lol. just some advice to somebody who is wanting to buy a car at this time of year, DONT!!!
  10. lol 75 degree air temp lol, you would start to cook if the air was that hot, the tyres would probably melt from the heat being absorbed by the black tarmac. my engine bay only gets to 70degrees maximum on a 40 degree day while sitting in traffic. I'm not sure if your engine is running as good as it should. I hope im wrong but the dyno stats you told us for those mods are pretty weak. im using mine and a friends car on here as an example. My friend gets about 196ish rwkw with turbo back 3inch -3.5 inch cat back, high flow cat, $500 fmic from just jap, toshi remap, brass button clutch running 10psi, spitfire coils, ngk iridium spark plugs. considerable more power than yours even using 2 psi less boost pressure than yours. Mine recently got 192.5rwkw with just 3inch front/dump, xforce highflow cat, 3.5 inch catbck. exedy organic hd clutch, $500 fmic, original coils with ngk platnium sparks, 10psi boost... original nissan spec factory ecu (no remap at all) and the dyno was done on a very humid wet day with 25-28 degree air temp. or the car might have just had a hard life, either way tha stats dont sound right with my experience.
  11. well keeping people scared of driving doesn't seem to be working, people will always speed, you may not be a "street racer" but everyone has sped before, even when travelling at the speed limmit fatalities happen. The main reason for fatalaties is people not being able to controll a car. an unexperienced person can loose controll in a slalom at only 50km/h, where as another experienced person can do the same manouver at close to double the speed. I refuse to believe speeding is the problem, in these 2 incidences with the idiots that smashed last weekend had a whole lot of contributions that lead to the death of the bondi girl. Speeding was a factor, but at the same speed in the same car on the same road there is a massive chance that with our skills brought about by joining a club like sau that encourages safe skid days, opportunities for car controll courses i bet my life that most of us could have avoided the crash all together or at the very least had an accident that wasn't life threatening if it was us behind the wheel. im off my p's in march so the issue doesn't really bother me much, by the time the legislation comes the chances are im off p's. Ive had my R33 gtst for a year now, i havent had any incidents??? just car insurance is giving me 50% no claim bonus next week, my rear tyres are still in great condition ( original from when i bought the car). Not every p plater is a f**kwit, the ones that are f**kwits get killed. also at the end of the day the road fatalities last year were low around 500 ish for the whole country. Considering how many people drive every day i dont think we have a peoblem with p platers, speeding or hoons.... smoking is a much bigger problem than speeders, there is between 6000-7000 smoking related deaths per year, if the govenrment was actually serious about saving lives why dont they ban smoking??? Its all to do with votes and revenue.
  12. spotted a white r33 gtst at castle hill road and county drive intersection at abot 4:45, had a modded front body kit and a FMIC
  13. could be a collapsed catalytic converter, saw similar thing happen to an evo on a dyno run, he hit 70kw though
  14. spotted a late model blank stagea,,,, the bigger rounder one in black oncounty drive on tuesday lunch time. looked nice
  15. doubt you'l make that mistake on a line.... just dont over tighten the oil drain bolt and only handtighten your oil filter.
  16. definately would, also united has brought out 100 octane fuel
  17. Kujotk

    R35 Vs M6

well it took 37 seconds for the m6 to actually pass the gtr, with or without the speed limiter the gtr killed the m6, who cares about a race after 200km/h in a straight line anyway, put some corners in the equation and that m6 will be allot further behind the gtr
  18. its mostly about pedestrians not paying attention, car accidents while speeding and not speeding kill a few hundred a year ,im not sure on the exact numbers but its definately way under 1000. in sydney the peak hour afternoon news updates always has a "Pedestrian down". Every single day, thats one city alone. If somebody looked into it i recon their is more careless pedestrian deaths than car accident deaths (let alone speeding or p plater related deaths)
  19. obscured doesnt mean you cant see it in this instance, all it means is it has something in front of it.... ie illegal
  20. sorry for a late spot, but i spotted CLICK on saturday arvo on silverwater road near kissingpoint, i'm pretty sure it was him, still has the pink stripes on the bonnet lol Can't see if he waved or not, i think his tints are contraversial lol, I love that car looks smick
  21. Doesn't matter if I could take a clear photograph of the number plate or not, it is against their own regulations. I did read what was posted and it clearly says its "...effectively Prohibited." Open the photo again, use the zoom function and you can see lines across the cover. The RTA doesn't state that lines are acceptable if under a certain width. All in all there's 8 black painted lines across the numberplate that I can still make out even though the quality of the camera phone picture isn't very good. Imagine how much more obvious the lines are in person to grab my attention like that? I still can't see why everyone jumps to defend the RTA when they make up allot of pointless (also allot of good) rules that ultimately cost us money in fines, even unintentional non dangerous defects. A regulation is a regulation and I don't care who breaches it, no matter how small the infringement is. They say rules are there for a reason, are they not? Not all the rules are there for safety. A friend of mine got fined for having her Registration sticker on the tinted section of her front windshield, is this dangerous? Is she a hoon? No! but the regulation for sticking the sticker says it cannot be behind any tint, it has to be on naked glass on the windscreen or the left hand side of a fixed glass window. If she can get done for that, this Car should not have black lines across the numberplate.
  22. i didnt think it needed to be in a box aslong as the overflow/vent tube was connected directly to the outside of the car?????
  23. I'm alittle nervous bout getting my pink slip seeing as the car is technically defectable,,,,,, nothing serious or dangerous but pod filter, exhaust (with a cat installed), FMIC...... tyres are in good condition (bought federals a few months ago from SAU NSW) brakes are about 50% on the fronts and 80 on the rears, lights indicators, brake lights all work, suspension is stock..... can anyone recommend me a place that could get me a pink slip without any defect hassels..... ive been told that people get rejected when going for pink slip and end up costing thousands before they can get the car back.... by the way PM me, do not post company names on this thread because i don't want anyone to get in trouble. cheers tom
  24. lol nah i belive him now, hes actually the owners accountant (apparently) , my acountant aswell. dammit i'm spewing now that i missed his run... i guess he was trying to tell me the rumberplate of the car and got it wrong with the R905 thing he said.....
