Pre track inspection is not mandatory. For the post
track day inspection, about $370 is for flushing brake fluid. Bugger that. Surely they can't enforce that for engine transmission warranty. That leaves $220 for hooking it up to the computer and poking around under the car. That's what I'll argue for.
hey buddy, driving back from Mt Cotton for a Porsche performance driving day, awesome.
yeah saw the 380 now you mention it!
hot lap in the GT3 with Fabian Coulthard was magic, damn those guys are smooth on the track
..... this thread is going places
on another note, I am off to MT Cotton to thrash the shit out of a porsche tomorrow at a performance driver training day before taking my R35 on the track next month. May I suggest TIR60 that you take your aggressive driving off public roads as well? you would probably enjoy your car more at the track!
He was no doubt just trying to be polite I suppose, especially if you were in a skyline or obviously gawking!
I have noticed you get labelled an arrogant twat or too cool for school if you dont acknowledge older skyliners or interested persons.
I have seen the death of those idiots driving the cars and those who were innocent bystanders or passengers first hand.
Try justifying any sympathy for these fools after you spend your night attempting to resuscitate a victim not at fault who has a hole in their flail chest dying in front of your eyes from horrific head injuries, whilst the guy who caused the accident lies in a cubicle metres away with only moderate injuries by comparison.
This person is only lucky he didn't kill someone else.
Hey Chris, sorry didnt see/hear you. bad ass flu got a hold of me at the moment. will catch up soon as discussed.
now have the midpipe installed so should be a nice aural treat when next you take my car out fro a drag in my absence......
for the super discounted price of 25,000AUD or so you can pick up a nismo titanium exhaust, or buy a daily driver...
if nissan void my warranty for the midpipe they better be ready to accept their own heavy clunker of a midpipe up their jacksie
just had my Willall midpipe fitted, great improvement.
The sound is awesome, now using manual mode even more.
The stock midpipe is damn heavy thats for sure.
yeah, going with the stock wheels and the dunlops for track use for now. Especially since people are starting to provide reasonable pricing for them.
BTW Martin, the Midpipe arrived today, its in the boot for now...
".....we have now received a direct response from NML on this subject and can confirm that a rear view camera is an accessory for the Japan market, as they have a built in TV tuner function in their display unit (which is necessary for the function of a camera).
They have committed to study this accessory for other markets but it is unlikely be within the 2009 time frame.
Obviously we’ll work hard to explore any accessory opportunities that arise of this nature and will make all NHPC’s aware of any developments here...."
The internet is a wonderful place. A couple of complaints on an aussie forum and suddenly all the thousands of owners have been spoken for worldwide and the car is deemed worthless.
Don't worry Birds, the car is awesome.
Finding a defect on my 175k Nissan doesn't hurt as bad as a 450k Lambo owner breaking a cheap plastic dash switch for the first time.
