  1. speak to Brenton from Merridian motorsport he will email you the specs and pictures. He was happy to have the images posted but I fear copycat fabrication, they have to benefit from their hard work after all!
  2. now waiting feedback on setups with 11's all round running 315 tyres. these fenders were designed with this setup in mind. was originally going for either RE30 19's or TE 37 18's staggered fitment interesting option is the custom made jongbloed, about $3600 a set. http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?sh...mp;hl=Jongbloed
  3. Thanks Snowy, just spoke to Brenton from Merridian Motorsports, extremely polite and helpful guy. He just finished an install for a rear parcel shelf on an R35 6 weeks ago as you mentioned. He is wmailing some pics but sounds like a great option that maintains daily drivability but ensures safe harness fitment. Apparently the aluminium bracing they utilise in the car joins the rear strut towers and is a damn fine bit of engineering, more than capable of safely supporting a harness bar.
  4. Have seen many solutions around (particularly US), interested to know what local guys have gone with. I remember Snowman mentioned something about rear parcel shelf custom fabrication options, good to keep safe harness angles relative to lower back seatbelt fixation points. Not keen to put in a harness bar if possible as this is a daily driver (noted LSX's experiences with snapping the lower seatbelt fixation bolt from fitting and removing the EVO bar).
  5. Anyone think this is more of a gimmick than something truly functional with measurable benefits? I am sure it will look great but was about to pull trigger on some new wheels and this mod would obviously change things greatly. http://passwordjdm.com/PasswordJDM-Dry-Car...-P3622C438.aspx

I have a CF itch thats needs scratching. with the aussie dollar at the moment I am seriously looking at it and the aeromotions wing. I seem to recall one of the Willall cars had the bonnet and boot Dry CF pieces installed. Anyone got any feedback re the quality and fit? Also if you have had the bootlid installed, does the construction look like it will stand up to the aeromotions wing? ie appropriate reinforcing? http://passwordjdm.com/webpage.aspx?Webpage_ID=25 bonnet is US $3300 and bootlid US $2300 also, what did they slug you for shipping? Also thinking of the following: http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Pa...ro-t294485.html
  7. my car is ready when you are Chris
  8. Top of the line Aeromotions S2 split wing, awesome stuff. about 8k aus. Some spend almost that on a carbon fibre lip or rear spoiler with no added aerodynamic benefit so probably not insane price for something with this level of functionality. I suspect a few track guys here would be interested in this, it seems to provide noticeable results
  9. for the front lip repair the job was as good as you could get without a respray, awesome. stone chip repair is average, he just uses the 'blob' method
  10. Yeah, I have chris on the job. Waiting for the NAGTROC experience to be posted.
  11. I unfortunately have to park my car out in the open in a couple of dodgy ares of brisbane once or twice a week so am interested in beefing up security, especially a tilt sensor and contact/perimeter warning. Might even look at getting some of the cool new features on various alarm systems such as the Viper HD and iphone app. only thing is, I have no idea of any aussie experience with alarms and integration with the car. Anyone done this locally or have advice? someone in states has this system on order but not yet installed... http://www.nagtroc.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=34315

  13. Volk Racing Hi metal bronze RE30 19X10 +30 and 19X11 +20 or +25 Hoosiers 295/30/19 front and 315/30/19 rear. $4190 shipped to Australia, maybe better if group buy Sharif at forged performance, about to get some for myself, aussie dollar now better than when I was first considering this.
  14. saw you too, my wave reaction time was a bit slow though. heading out to the bayside against traffic was a nice change. your 34 looked pretty damn mean, it didnt exactly blend in either
  15. too expensive not as nice an integration as seen in the Audi's either.. look like an afterthought better visual impact would be acheived with that money going to some tasty CF accents
  16. sorry, didnt realise your location. he is in central brisbane. just phone their generic number for a guy closer to you
  17. touch up guys try this guy direct Stewart Hicks 0417434006 tell him the anal sonofabish R35 owner sent you
  18. Wont get 2.9 0-100 kph with this lot onboard, but how many supercars could squeeze these guys and a boot-full of gear in for the weekend?
  19. anyone read the letters to the editor section? pity there was no editorial response to your letter Munro
  20. Has anyone heard whether there has been any improvement since their previous disastrous pre release review which compared them against the stock dunlops? anyone know of a local supplier? GT-RR has them at $1600 US a set excluding shipping and taxes
  21. I assume this isn't a photoshop, as the car is russian and they are just crazy enough to do that. That car needs to be confiscated and the guy sent to one of those russian places where no one ever returns...
  22. Thanks That's the Snap on/blue point? any idea who I can talk to that supplies and supports in Brisbane? Cheers
