400a for the 800amp, and 600a for the 1000amp [i think I've got an 800, I'll check on that, but it has a few other other attributes that are supposed to make them the 'ducks guts' of batteries. Have a look on their web site [assuming they got one] or get a pamphlet. It will explain it heaps better than I can. It rapid recharges after heavy load, has a big cycle rate, can be deep cycled, long shelf life, etc etc

I converted mine to an Odyessy total seal. I can get them in the country areas. I tried and couldn't get the Yuasa battery [it was a jappa batt, even Yuasa Aust. said no go]. I had to change my leads etc, and weld up a new battery holder setup, did it all myself and ended up with a top shelf job [if you want it done right......do it yourself]. The Odyessy battery is a queer animal, nil maintenance, long life, and big crank power, they are a bit more exy though.

I used the Meguirs Wet Look polish on my black skyline the other day [after washing off with Armourall heavy Duty green stuff. The Wet Look is very very very good. My missus bought a heap of those ENJO gloves and reckoned they were crap, so I got 'em and use 'em to buff off with, they do a good job. I use Windex on the glass, never heard of using it on the body work. Heard of car yards using 'Mister Sheen' for that though, its common practise to use it and is a quick fix cleaner, and is even OK on the interior [but I don't use it]. A lot of show dudes use it for a quick go between days during a display. Interiorwise I use Armourall occasionally[about every fourth time], normally just wipe down with a just damp cloth.

I wanted 3rd party property insurance, but famous and torque don't do it. At $2000 pa [the general quote median] I can afford a new car in 10 years. I also have a Toyota Hilux Dual Cab with a 3.8 V6, Marks 4wd gearbox, 8" lift kit and 33" tyres etc etc [read heavily modified] and it only costs me $230 for tpp insurance, so I can't see my Skyline being much more than this in practical terms. I'll keep trying for tpp insurance and expand this as I work through the companies. Famous N/A Torque N/A Aon Do not insure 'imports' at all, full stop, finito, so all you guys that reckon you are insured with them, check your policy???? I phoned AON, they said they don't do imports..............end of story. Famous quoted $2100, too much for me, in 5-10 years time I can buy another car.

Please explain.............. Came out of my SII R33 '98 gts2.5t, so I'd like to know how you think its a series I. It looks the same as other SII clusters I've seen for sale??? The car was a direct import [aren't they all], so if the gauges were changed then it was done in japan. I was sold a SII cluster with a Nismo 300km/h by a business that is exactly the same as this one, and they advertised it as a SII [and believe me they would know the diff].

Sorry $150 is too low.

I had my wheel nuts powdercoated black, I made a wheel nut tree/rack to do this. The tree cost me approx. $40 plus welding. Sell for $25 plus fob. Danny.
