  1. Not quite complete, something is still not yet home...
  2. You can buy rwd extended sumps to suit rb26 from various fabricators for ~600 bucks, I'd be getting one of those
  3. VG30 turbo or something like that perhaps?
  4. You would just need to machine the -9 housing and it would work. That being said -9(-7 is the same) rear wheel with a 2860 front may be a good combo...
  5. My car nearly got to the gor but seems to have blown a head gasket. Anyone know a good transporting mob?
  6. -7 rear turbine -5 compressors.
  7. I was wrong, 11.2 actually, at 127mph. Dunno what sort of power that works out to be but not 400 i think
  8. I saw someone claiming 400kw's on -7's, it ran 11.7's from memory though
  9. Hks2510s are the same as the motive hybrids. Note the hybrids are -7 turbines with -5 wheels, so it won't be making -5 level power. I know of people very happy with their 2510s though
  10. We have 8 jerrycans between 3 cars so it should be OK, don't need to get back to an e85 servo after the day too which helps
  11. Has there been any new E85 servo's put in closer to PI since last year? https://mapalist.com/Public/pm.aspx?mapid=454976
  12. As above, they're -5 housings so .64 ar I believe. And yes, e85 of course! Power wise, that's to be determined by my work outlook. Worst case I suppose would be standard engine with arp headstuds. Id still throw a heap of boost in but may be limited
  13. Front housing machining has been done on my GTX2860's, picked them up from MTQ this morning. I'm about to do a multi week roadtrip down to Victoria, so they won't be going in for a little while. I'm hoping maybe January. I need to sort out a few things first, like fuel system and exhaust. No point putting them in if something else is holding them back.
  14. Interested in seeing how your exhaust pans out as that's probably the next thing to do on mine. Also very, very interested on info about those centre cap adaptors?
  15. I think with mine I may end up taking out the appropriate blanking plug from the oil cooler and drill+tapping into that, and extend the wire out
  16. Issue is that the factory temp sensor is a m10 thread whereas the aftermarket one you have there is 1/8npt. People sell adaptors that go from not to m10 male, but ones that do m10 female are much rarer
  17. Rough figures? Engine 1.5k Gearbox 1k Diff 300 Brakes 300 Hubs 300 Other stuff, eg intercooler fuel pump extra bits involved that everyone forgets 500-1000 So 4-4.5k. Selling your gts and buying a gtst will not cost you that much
  18. Same issue here, currently temp sensor is an engine bay air temp sensor in mine, interested to see what people come up with
  19. Hubs are still 4 stud Isn't there also trim differences with the 33s too?
  20. You son, can't read. He said oils, filters, scratches dings and minor exterior mods. Still sell it and get a gtst. As said above, difference goes beyond motor. Brakes, hubs, brake booster, (gearbox?), diff, all different, all better. Cost of upgrading all those vs buying a gtst will be more than the $1000 of maintence you save
  21. Front pipes to go with the dumps might be a good idea too.
  22. Planning on running 3" to 4" front pipes off my hpi dumps, down to 3.5 after the cat on mine, should be enough for the 2860s I'd say.
  23. gtx 60 wheel is the same size as a -5 wheel with a smaller inducer, but lighter, with the same flow rate, though at a slightly higher boost. Can't see it being bad... And considering the 34 with the 63s on apparently felt like -5s, then I'd say the 60s should feel better than that... Anyway, time will tell, I'm committed at this point regardless
  24. Gtx 2871s with tial .86 covers you mean Roy
