  1. the long wang ran clockwise (the other way) last DECA.

  3. the panasonic looks great. are you coming to deca? imo the gopro is good for what it is. as long as you can compress the video well, it comes out ok. i've found the sound is best through headphones (although that maybe because of the crappy laptop speakers.)
  4. yes you get to pick if you like. best to ask one of the guys in group 2 or 3, as the group 1 guys will be straight up after the DT sessions. after the first session you should be right to drive solo, the more exp guy will step you through the lines and breaking marks etc. then go out by yourself and forget all that and go nuts like everyone else, lol.
  5. agree with paul, have a look in the FS private sales section on here as well. imo the car will need to have suspension done and all the bushes. if it hasn't they will need to be done, so factor that in. also a 100k service or at least a good service and tune (unless sau car, most should be looked after).
  6. these are your old ones? you have a pm mate.
  7. yeh the pan is cement and slippy as a mofo, a lot of noise but not much smoke. although guys do try pretty hard and get some smoke going. you cant do stand stills as you destroy the surface fyi.
  8. tyres contribute heaps! the stopping power is far greater. ive got a 33 gtst with lucas pads, stopper, lines and motul rbf600 fluid and by far the federal 595rs have made the car stop faster than all the others. need some ducts next, they hold pretty well in a 15min session, but always want more. pads are only $70 a pair and last 3-4 track days.
  9. those rims make an extra 20rwkw ya?
  10. http://justjap.com/store/product.php?produ...=367&page=1 ???? Minimum Fitting Requirements: - 18" Wheels
  11. Nankang NS2 235/45 17's Dry performance 6/10 Wet performance 3/10 In the dry once they are warm they were pretty good. though after 3-4 laps you could feel the sidewalls etc moving around. i was pretty happy for them in the dry for what they are. In the wet is a different story. No grip what so ever, the smallest bit of throttle would spin the rears and corner speeds would see the rear the squirm then the front and end up in four wheel sliding, which was a quite unpredictable. Federal 595RS 235/45 17's Dry performance 8/10 Wet performance 8/10 While i was impressed with the dry performance of the ns2's these are in the different league. Worth 1-2 seconds on the track easy. corner entry and mid corner grip is fantastic. Performance in the wet is unbelievable, having grip turning in and around the corner is amazing. around longer radius corners i could feel the sideways moving around with a hot pres around 38-40. but this was at least quite predictable. have done 2 track days now, one in the wet and done about 800km on them, only signs of wear are the sidewall fingers are all long gone.
  12. there is normally a group of people meet at the BP servo near wallan (1.5hours from mt eliza), or you will see other people grabbing breakfast or filling up there anyway.
  13. na its a fun day, if you can get in its a good time.
  14. going from the stock diff to a 1.5 way felt a little slower initially as the wheels didnt spin as easy, which meant the revs didnt go nuts. but if you have a look at the speedo there is a huge difference.
  15. great vid guys. got me passing that bmw down the front as well, look how early it was breaking... also HQ link here
  16. i put the 235/45's on my 17x8's. whats the ideal hot temp for these? i was trying to keep em around 40psi on the track as i wasnt sure how hard the sidewall on these are?
  17. ya, i tried again after work around 5:30 and still no answer on the other end . money has gone through tho, so just have to try again tomorrow.
  18. saw the frukn crazy DTM racing the other night. those car, if you can call them that, are crazy.
  19. their fax machine isn't working 8677 7609 ya? it doesn't go through.
  20. that was a classic. the 330ci did the same thing right in front of me, turn one. i was happy with my high 1.31, cut two seconds off my previous time. saw rmode's r35 out the back while on a cool down as well.
  21. damn it! didnt get around to faxing forms today. tomorrow it is. soooo addicted.
  22. should be written on the rims somewhere. 17 x7JJ or 8 etc etc offset is normally on the inside of the rim somewhere
