  1. Estimates. Geoff always guesses high, JMS guess low. A change in compliancer will result in that difference. T.
  2. Do they have caravan parks in Japan? I'd chain my 34 next to it T.
  3. This is recommended reading for Xenons: http://www.intellexual.net/hid.html Normally it's 2 x ballasts, 2 x xenon bulbs and they are quite expensive lights. OEM R33 Xenons are prob. $1,500+ T.
  4. Here's some pics of mine: http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/xenon1.jpg http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/xenon2.jpg http://home.exetel.com.au/tony/xenon3.jpg Sorry it's a shitty 33! I can get these kits as well - recommend 4500/5000K - pm if interested. 32/33 = H1 or H4? T.
  5. Why don't you go a 33 turbo? Better all round. T.
  6. There's nothing wrong with white GT-Rs... they are the official colour of the N1 grade units and I want one in white... a 2000 Series 2 V-Spec... stock with very minor mods. The problem with these two GT-Rs? High miles, series 1 1999 models, one has the 5 speed R33 box not the R34 Getrag, factory wheels are gone, minor dents and stuff. But still... they are V-Spec... I can see lots of good times in either because you are driving the ultimate T.
  7. I'm almost 100% certain that GT3 calipers fit under standard R33 GT-R 17 x 9 rims. In fact there was a white 33 GT-R at the UAS Waekfield day with them. T.
  8. Chris (Doughy) is selling a worked one for $7,500 - good value as stock ones are a bit less from your avg. JAP importer. You need the stock 25 sump, ECU, labour. T.
  9. Model - KRCR32RGASAA Prod.M/Y - 8909 Color - 732 Int.Color - G 2k RB20DT HI.2WD GTST AT btw. who has VINs for N1 models and the last couple of 34 GT-Rs? T.

    Fuga??

The interior is a little art deco for my liking. I find a lot of the more 'frou frou' Japanese cars really go for that ornate look. T.
  11. On a 34, I think it'd be pretty obvious if it was removed but for the 33 since half came with them, half didn't well... it depends if they're willing to check build dates. T.

    Fuga??

What the hell is a "Fuga" between friends? T.
  13. Are the JZX models single or twin turbo? It was my impression that the later JZX went to a 2.5 litre VVTi single turbo. Does anyone have any good urls for tech specs, pix, auction sheets etc.? T.
  14. In my case, I have the same Bosch 044 as Jim. I've added an Apex regulator (it was cheap and I've been told it's identical to the Nismo model which is JECS Unisia anyway). I'm about to add 550cc drop ins. I don't need the regulator as I don't think I'll have any requirement to wind up the pressure on the 550cc but I did have a requirement to do it on the stock 370cc. T.
  15. Any comments about the different colours? http://www.minicarshop.jp/cart/shop.cgi?cl...y=1&FF=0&order= Blue with gold rims looks hot. T.
  16. The cliffnotes is that the GT-R does not need carbon bonnets except for rice value. If you want your GTS to loose roughly half the bonnet weight and flaunt ADR laws, look rice and got some $$$ in your pocket, go carbon. T.
  17. It's a signal bender like the E-Manage. It doesn't have full control of the motor unlike say an FC. If I was to use one word to describe why an FC is better, it'd be "fine-tuning". eg. you'll find it very hard to get the car anywhere near EPA with an S-AFC while the FC will make a better fist of it. Saying that, I've seen the S-AFC control a car with a Z32, AFM and Trust internal gate turbo - just with horrible fuel use, emissions and performance was ok but a bit rough in delivery. The FC cleared that up. eg. there's a drop down menu for VG30 AFM and the injector size, plug and play as it were. T.
  18. Skylines (excepting the R32) are big cars. The bonnet is large - no two ways about it. And it's build strong with many trusses. If you replace it with carbon, weight is halved usually at the very least. T.
  19. Is this a good idea? I know why it would be a useful. Is the auto still LSD? Will fuel consumption suffer? T.
  20. Nathan, PM me some details. T.
  21. This should be in a FAQ. Big pump for stock injectors and stock ecu does not need a regulator. Except if you want to wind up an adjustable regulator for a bit more flow. Big pump for 550cc+ injectors and programmable ecu does not need a regulator as you should have enough flow already. T.
  22. Correctomundo! People with stock ECU and even S-AFC should tread carefully. It works but it won't work as good as people make it out to be. Fully programmable ECU is what you need. Once you go 550cc/AFM, it's time to think ECU. T.
  23. Why would there be any yr11 chickz0r? Unless they want TWO goes on the maroon r33 merry-go-round with the free complimentary red cordial and metho ****tail. Same time next year? T.
  24. Nah keep your money. Skyline owners obviously have some dosh. But line up all the year 12 girls ya got and I'm sure all the SAU members will be there to help your group. T.
