  1. LOL! Had to happen sooner or later. I've had FOUR pullovers since I had this car for NO tickets issued - just cops wanting to bust your chops. They often try to work via inference - one of them said he was trying to follow me and had to do 75km/h in a 50 zone to keep up; therefore I must have been doing something fast. Just say nothing - they're trying to trip you up. I have to admit that even moderately quick driving in a Skyline LOOKS fast. I've had various people have a drive of my car and I know they drive slower than me yet it looks like it's above 50km/h. If you don't brake for corners, don't brake for roundabouts, the cops do not like it. It's useless trying to explain that 8 or 9 inch wide tyres means grip is in abundance or that the car can handle it safely. T.
  2. But pred... As a company 'demo drift wagon', of course they can use the most expensive pieces for a D1 grade car. If you're sick of the Signal drift S15 faced 180sx, this is the way to stand out. T.
  3. silvia? Be a bit more specific. s13 was 4 x 114.3 s14/s15 moved up to 5 x 114.3 IIRC - this is a Skyline forum so it's not like we know all that much about Silvias. T.
  4. 50/50 blows. Driving a 1,600kg WRX doesn't sound like any fun to me. T.
  5. Well how about this... we do a major collective deposit into a local intermediary and then do big deposit into your designated Japanese bank? Saves a lotta mess I would say. T.
  6. I think there was only the HKS ETC. I just saw the one Shan (funkey) was selling and now I hear of this one. Can't seem to find it on the Blitz website but then I don't read Japanese. http://www.blitz.co.jp/products/products.htm T.
  7. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=44489 Been discussed. I reckon it looks cool actually. T.
  8. This is any Oddessey 1200: http://www.safarigard.com/catalog/odyssey_...200_2417845.htm Fark this is a big dog. Definitely interested. T.
  9. http://www.google.com.au/search?q=hks+eids...-8&start=0&sa=N http://edgetuning.co.uk/product.html?id=hk...gory=elecothers http://www.greenline.jp/catalogue/bblist.php?brand=HKS It's a doo hickey that 'electronic idle stablises'. It's a bandaid IMO because the FC should do it fine but it's useful on save extreme tune cars. T.
  10. Could you give us a brand? Optima? Bosch? Like this: http://www.advanceae.com.au/car/category30_1.htm Got NFI about this. T.
  11. And just before I forget... Do Luck Double Six will increase your "SAU: Underground" reputation muchly... T.
  12. Less wing, lo wang... Some sharp edges on that one On the 33, I say go Signal Auto drift wing. Remove it altogether on the 34. GT wings are largely gay. T.
  13. I'm honestly gonna blow my top if the cops bust me going to and from work - it's not enough that work blows dogs but to **** with your workday??? Appeal it because it's not a valid offense. T.
  14. Interested... I find the silly 33 has just too much electrics pulling off it. A standard batt. isn't enough whack to keep things going. T.
  15. Can they tell you exactly what you have to fix? WTF is this bullshit? Are you perhaps of Asian heritage? If they told me to rev to 7,000rpm I tell them to fark off - wtf is this crap? I've never even had my motor up that high since the rebuild. I like your rims btw T.
  16. http://www.ebbro.com/Museum/Gallery/Nissan/index.htm That's it. There are some 1:24 Biante ones but they're all yukky Winfield/GIO ones. Rezz... Give us a bank account from a major Australian bank and well start up deposits. T.
  17. You have cams? Set the idle a bit higher. You have BOV? Mine idled like shite with 2 HKS valves. Went back to stock. Install a HKS EIDS? T.
  18. ZE326 are compliancing tyres. Give us the name of the Auburn place. I'm after some 235/45/17 fronts. T.
  19. If you mean bonnet scoops and superchargers... cars older than a certain age... 1986? - are exempt from these laws. I still remember a VK Commodore with a huge shaker sticking out of the bonnet getting off scott free while Skylines got busted for fillters and valves. T.
  20. Here is the other way... http://www.signalauto.co.jp/4_28DRIFTSPEC.html http://www.signalauto.co.jp/Images_jp/6_26...26KYOSINKAI.jpg Sickness care of Signal Auto. I prefer the Signal way to be honest. But I see the attractiveness of the sleepy eyed drift 180 faced S15. T.
  21. http://www.audiocubes.com/product_info.php...products_id=722 How practical is this in our cars? It's the most amazing deck I've every seen... and I've seen a lot. T.
  22. I prefer the 360 to be honest. I don't like the Enzo styling. And I prefer the 355 even. So my choice is a 360 Modena manual (with clutch!), Stradale wheels and perhaps a Hamann front bar. T.
  23. Ok let me float this by you... Who can gut the shit out of the centre section of my M-Spec bar and make it fit RIGHT with the oil cooler and FMIC behind there. Most places I go to put it in the 'too hard' basket. T.
  24. I came across this a while ago on the big PF. http://www.turboawd.com.ph/skylinegtr.html I know you've seen some conversions in the past that uses Maxima or Bluebird dashboards. This is the real deal and it originates from an exotic little industrial suburb called 'Silverwater'. T.
  25. This thread made me laugh. SAU so needs a 'Pool Room'. It reminds me of the scene in "Lethal Weapon II" where the South African diplomat tries to persuade Danny Glover to stay in the US when he wants to move to South Africa... "Listen to your friends, they know what they are talking about!" People here have YEARS of experience with Nissans - they know what they are talking about! You cannot turn a long RB motor sideways and weld it onto a GTiR 4wd transaxle. Fantasize about something normal.. like sticking an RB26DETT into an AE86 Sprinter... T.
