  1. This reminds me of the GenIII shuvved into an S4 Mazda RX7. Wow! The rotor fans flipped their collective lids. T.
  2. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...ead.php?t=42986 It's been hashed over here before (by Troy/Roy?). T.
  3. No you don't. Bolts straight in. It is a pain if you're changing batteries or have an amp there as you can see. You need four bolt nuts from Bunnings to install T.
  4. LOL! I couldn't have said it better myself. How can you place an arbitrary 'line in the sand' for a GOOD or BAD GT-R? You're saying all sub $42,000 R33 GT-R's are rubbish? Or that a sub $30,000 R32 is rubbish? I guess we all drive rubbish here... T.
  5. I remember this Telegraph picture clearly... some guy of 'Swedish' extraction stacked and R31 with Auscar three spoke rims wipes out a pole and somehow it turns into a GT-R/WRX turbo slagging fest. Why is an L plater driving a 300hp car be it Skyline or ZX? T.
  6. Bit over the top in the 'riceness' scale... like the owner is a rich fool who latches onto all the 'right' names, eg. that Momo on the top rim of the steering wheel. I prefer the JGTC look with the big F1 snorkel and quad pipes. btw. for some reason, the only 'cheap' place for the NSX seems to be the US, everywhere else they seem to be vastly overpriced. T.
  7. Last time I saw, there's no problem with it. Just that Dom wants to sell and the market for turbo imports just tanks. T.
  8. You need to put "RRRAGE" on the number plate and maybe some "TMU COPS 'R' TOPS" stickers on it. T.
  9. I think it's a little too white... needs a black stripe down the side and the 'Mines' signature running writing... maybe the black lower lip and skirts. Ganadors? T.
  10. Surely 2nd hand RX7 injectors are a more practical way? T.
  11. I also have a Best Motoring VCD of it being compared to the VW Golf R32 (!!!) Yeah baby... as much as people love the R34 Mines Tsukuba special, I'd imagine there are diehards here who want the R32 with the R34 champagne motor. T.
  12. Expensive area. Low car theft. T.
  13. http://www.mines-wave.com/Demo-Car/R32GTR/index.html Geez I wish there were some big arse shots of these cars. http://www.mines-wave.com/democar.html T.
  14. Jeremy... Buy *ONE* hand controller - buy *TWO* PS2 IBM PC keyboard extension cables. Cut the relevant pins - installed into both your GT-R's. Have the cable curl around the passenger seat. Just bring the HC with you depending on which GT-R you feel like driving (must be a tough decision you have there - I feel for ya). It'll give you a better feel for what the car is doing. Also engine damage can occur with the engine check light not lit. T.
  15. You'll find that some Skylines parts ARE Holden parts. The Skyline is perhaps one of the most conventionally configured cars out there. It should pose no problems to any competant mechanic. T.
  16. Def. interested in the Nismo R34... The 350z just doesn't pump my nads. T.
  17. Very nice looking car - needs the clear corner indicators because the orange lights look painful. Just like clean looking Skylines. T.
  18. It's a very reasonable price. I'm still interested in a set for my car... it has that 'classic' old school style but I have a set lined up so... I may still call on brett. T.
  19. The difference between 12/13 litres per 100 and 17 litres for the city cycle is the difference between normal driving and slightly hitting it. If I hit it hard it'll do 20 litres easily. T.
  20. I don't think I've ever been accused of that. This has been discussed on the XR6 forum maybe? Big snail as it's a T4 class turbo so it'll lag on a 25/26 but the power will definitely be there. Matched with mild cams like 256/264 it might be a goer. I'd imagine that their availabilty will make them a possible upgrade choice. T.
  21. It school holidays. Please lock and move on. T.
  22. An JDM RB engine is no more complex at the front than an VL Commodore (because an RB is an RB is an RB) - any mechanic can do it. Constant noise is bad. The parts are cheap, probably cheaper than an VL. No more than 2 hours labout is needed. T.
  23. Could you guys get a table going for the some of our cars? btw. mine is done thru Advanced Autos as well - they sound like they're hiding something ie. non V-Spec badged as V-Spec. Here's mine: ECR33-058499 T.
  24. Do it asap. You can either pay a couple hundred now or few thousand next week for a rebuild. $200 labour + $100 for a belt, $80 for all accessory belts + $100 for water pump (optional). T.
  25. I have a 1995 GTS which did not come with any rear bar. I installed a 1996 S2 GTS/GTR rear bar. Fits fine - looks stock. There's no way an aftermarket bar can't do the same thing? The towers are even thread so you need some plain bolts to fit it. T.
