  1. Old ones were very very noisy - you could hear them over the exhaust. New ones have been quietened down a lot. They changed manufacture a while back. T.
  2. Without trying to rain on anyones' parade: http://www.ehobbies.com/aua80280.html http://www.ehobbies.com/aua80180.html Of course they are very static models. T.
  3. What does it all mean? Can I get a R, S or Z 350z, R34, El Grande, March etc. and what does the difference entail? T.
  4. Damn... another person who likes FK451 Falkens I think they are 'ok' - I prefer the ST115 but wear is a tad higher on the 115 vs. 451. T.
  5. NEW Bosch 044 pumps are quiet. I have a similar amperage type cold cranking problem. Less severe than what you guys describe though. T.
  6. I cannot farken stand Ketzel Sterling. I've thrown out my DVDR copy of every Hi Octane I was stupid enough to pirate. I seem to remember some extremely embarrassing kick boxing moves? T.
  7. If this all goes to pot, PM me and I'll see if one of the workshops has a spare EIDS Pro lying around. T.
  8. Charlie... What are you after? Price range? I suppose Japanese models? www.importplaza.com.au (run by a nice guy called Andrew - local, does lots of Ebbro) www.ebbro.com (bit pricey though but Japanese accuracy) www.kyosho.com (limited range but 100% Japanese quality) www.hlj.com www.1999.co.jp Wade thru all the plastic kits. T.
  9. The translations are a bit odd... What is this: Skyline GT-R (Dragon oral way) ??? T.
  10. http://babelfish.altavista.com/ Oh ghod I hate looking at these sites... drool collects at the corner of my mouth! T.
  11. Well we're all waiting on the Nismo R34 - I'll try to keep a tally of who wants what. But without the 34, there's no deal T.
  12. Oh btw... My car was done under the old scheme by Japp/SCC in Orange Grove Sydney. But the plate is from Advance Auto from WA. T.
  13. Do you know that PI cars DO NOT HAVE TO CONFORM TO ANY ADR RULES. Do you that that effectively makes you IMMUNE to any sort of defect - doesn't matter if it's noise, emissions whatever. Sooo... I'm thinking I import an R34 GT-R V-Spec and make it fullee... I mean top mount super single HKS T51R SPL, no cat, 115dB muffler, 20" rims, carbon panels, neons flashing all the time, no seatbelts, caged, stripped interior, big fark off venting BOV, Omega stickers all over it and you point to the GOLD coloured compliance plate and the cops can't do shit. And take a slow cruise down da Chapz... T.

    Parts Required

Unfortunately no-one makes 3rd party rear braces for the 33. Snap it up at $150. T.
  15. I have said this before... I absolutely hate the S2 standard front end. The angular grille with the four big round lights... how did they manage to meld the square front end to the round rear? It does look better in dark colours with a lip though. Be that as it may, I think Brett's car always looked good ("BU5TER"). The grille and the Trust front bar, GT-R body pieces. The 'integration' in body design is back. I am no fan of velour but whatever... the car interior is a nice place and I can't complain. T.
  16. Like any business it has to be worth their while - you're looking at $80 - $150 for your average scrape depending on colour. T.
  17. Unfortunately with imports, I would not chance your corner garage unless you know them and they will 'set you up the bomb'. It's not really legal but the friend I take it do doesn't bother to drive the car or test brakes. He makes me fill out the VIN and rego and I pays my $30 and I get my pink slip. He didn't want to test my brakes because it's a 'waste of time using his accelerometer to run a car with four pot pistons, 300mm discs and racing pads'. I don't waste his time with bald tyres or bad lights. It's a nice relationship T.
  18. I seem to remember something about a 'square peg for a round hole' if you get my meaning. Also the people here with R34 Neos will tell you tell you that they are straight fits for their particular rail/loom BUT not for a R33. Ah it's complicated. T.
  19. I take my car to someone who guarantees a pass. T.
  20. Maybe this should be the official 'SAU B-Man club'! Engine/Car: 1995 R33 GTSt RB25DET Type of failure: ringland failure on #6 Factors influencing the failure: overboost on AVC-R State of tune of the engine: mild Suspension and tyres: HKS Hypermax II - Bridgestone (F) Toyo Proxies TS1 ® Oil used and service interval: 5,000km - synthethic General comments: Just bad luck T.
  21. Yokohama do not sell Advan Neovas here. Therefore they are not DOT rated and you can't sell or use them here. Kiss goodbye to them in compliance. T.
  22. Love is such a strong word. I use the 451 on the backs as well. They stand up well to punishment - obviously not the last word in tyres but for the money, quite a good choice. T.
  23. Put it this way - in Victoria, things would have ended differently. T.
  24. When you say 'kit' you mean the two fenders right? "Kit" makes it sound like you get the lot inc. a VHS how-to-video Do you have pix of the R34 pieces on an R32? T.
