  1. Here's the direct link: http://www.ferrari-museum.co.jp/e/exhibits.html What's the story here? Who is Matsuda? This one is my fave: http://www.ferrari-museum.co.jp/e/img/c02.jpg T.
  2. That sounds about right. Both water and oil cooled BB turbos is it. You might see some Trust units which are oil cooled only. That's fine. You should have an oil cooler in this case. On the plus side, this puts some pressure off your radiator. T.
  3. How come Yokohama dealers do not stock these? T.
  4. The tricky part is getting the RB25 ECU to work with the R32 instruments and aircon etc. Not rocket science but you definitely want someone who has done it before and isn't 'experimenting' with your car and money. That's why I recommend someone who's done it to his own car. T.
  5. I have had a number of cars done with Fred and Brett and honestly, you'll not find a pair of fairer or more honest people. Autostyle - I will not comment, just that people here have some strong feelings about them. UAS are fine but they are not in the conversion field. For this kind of work, it's best to talk to people who know how to do conversions. T.
  6. Sure... Those cold winter nights and early misty mornings are turbo weather. With good fuel and the right tuning, one can easily feel the added power and response from cold air. With a decent intercooler, the effect is even more significant. T.
  7. I honestly fink the best person to talk to is a Brett at: http://www.revriteperformance.com/ He used to have an R32 GTS with an RB25DET. T.
  8. Yeah grab it and tell us what it is. We'll tell you who's that and bag of chips and who deserves to be bashed SAU style. T.
  9. Have many of you guys done the 5 stud Skyline hub conversion? T.
  10. I think he means sealed vs. unsealed batteries. If they're not sealed, they give off gas (hydrogen?) - in an enclosed space, it can be explosive. IN THEORY... 33 owners should only use sealed batteries. But of course, sealed ones are expensive. T.
  11. Is it a Type-S or Type-M bar? It's black I presume? T.
  12. Replace with a stock 33 unit if you're on a low budget. T.
  13. Give us your VIN. I'd suggest that a good way around this is to charge a nominal fee? ie. send $5 in a envelope to SAU and a copy will be sent out. T.
  14. I can see... Getting defected for having a working Gameboy on your dashboard. How much are all the relevant sensors? T.
  15. I think it goes like this... R32 - both GTS and GTR are good strong designs. The RB20 box has a weakness at very high power but you have to get the RB20 to produce 250kW+ first. R33 - not much problem at all. The RB25 is a just a RB26 box with the front output cut off. "Weaknesses" are that it's a big fat bastard (you'll see if you have a RB25 next to an RB20 box). The Series III R33 GT-R is supposed to have the strongest internals. R34 - same as the R33 except the Getrag six speed has some problems very well documented on this forum. S13 - ok box, good design. S14 - got a bit better, bit stronger. S15 - six speed is weak compared to the relatively strong Nissan reputation. It's also another big fat bastard. You must admit that for drivelines strength, Nissan have a good rep. and we've all been lucky. That's why we drive them. Not as a good as Toyota boxes IMO but close enough. T.
  16. The upside down bathtub look blows dogs. RX8 is a good non Euro design. T.
  17. The strongest Skyline boxes are apparently the final R33 GT-R boxes and by association, the 33/34 GT turbo boxes. The Skyline Getrag six speeds? Do a search T.
  18. The six speed boxes are apparently very WRX-like if ya know what I mean. Who makes them? Not Getrag I believe. T.
  19. I think what people are trying to get at is that Skylines have VERY plain looking doors - frameless sedan style square doors. They look like shit if they scissor up. BUT... on a Series 6 RX7... plus say a Amemiya bodykit... it would look sweet. The RX7 has the curvy shape and swooping doors to pull it off. A 32 does not. T.
  20. group buy, funky? T.
  21. If it's a good alarm, I don't doubt it was an inside job as they needed to know the exact type and how it was installed to bypass it. T.
  22. Merge it with a current forum - I prefer Art/Models myself. T.
  23. Gosh that is scary... good alarm I guess. Thankfully I have a garage and secure parking at work. T.
  24. I have one in Syd. as well. Transport will be a problem though since you're in the Highlands. T.
