  3. old runout TJ Magna AWD. There's nothing better. T.
  4. It was my impression that the RB26 plenum did not bolt on with a lot of work and money. Let me get this straight... Can you use the RB26 plenum, standard 440cc injectors and say a PowerFC? Can you use the 6 butterfly throttle body? I have the z32. The cost is almost the same as a Greddy plenum almost which defeats the point. T.
  5. What is the prize? Laguna Seca is a 1.30/1.40 min track? T.
  6. Here is an interesting article for you guys: http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/rb30det.pdf It's a bit more than I wanna spend though. T.
  7. It's anywhere from 20-30% driveline loss for RWD. Less for FWD... a LOT more for AWD. My goal is 250rwkW. ~335 crank kW ~450 crank hp T.
  8. You're also going about this the wrong way... It's Series 1 V-Spec, Series 2 V-Spec, Series 3 V-Spec. IT IS NOT V-Spec I and V-Spec II (unlike the R34). T.
  9. I think this is all circumstance. The 32 is devalued as a whole because it is naturally getting old and coming to 15 years. It'll remain reasonably high value (ie $20-25,000) because we all love it. The 34 being the last and so overexposed in film and video game, it'll always been quite expensive. It will be quite some time before a '99 V-Spec becomes $50,000 (I give it at LEAST 5 years). The 33 is the interim model - one with the plainest styling, least race cred (IMO) and it is clearly the least favourite. It irks me that they can go for under $35,000... And the 33 is my favourite. 32 very close behind. 34 long way behind. T.
  10. I called Coventry's in Perth - cheapest was $463 + GST ie. $509. Bosch 044 T.
  11. The cheapest is either Sard 550/850cc or Nismo 555cc. Drop in, no worries. Plus your Bosch pump. T.

  16. I never got much joy with import parts in Syd... Unfortunately I get a lot of stuff interstate. T.
  17. What is o-ringing anyway? I really don't know shit. I didn't even know you needed to replace all the seals??? I just bought a head gasket thinking that's all you needed... T.
  18. I'll look into S2 lights... skysaresilver, I'm getting in touch with my body parts people this coming week. All easy when you're doing it on the company phone! T.
  19. I could swear that the light was yellow when I went thru it... It's supposed to be a 2/3 sec. buffer but many don't have that it seems. T.
  20. Try this: http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&ie=U...ed+engine&meta= On some components it doesn't do all that much - but it certainly does not hurt. Obviously parts under low stress do not benefit. It seems to be that you can do them on new or used bits. They said it would be no problem treating the existing crank, cams. For the money, it's a bargain. T.
  21. I am looking at $275 each for a set, or $300 each. I'll look into it for you. PM me. T.
  22. Brendan, Look it up in google - lots of articles. I am doing most of my motor (ie. pistons, rings, head, valves, crank, rods, maybe even block, cams). LSW in Revesby charge $80 min. for 16kg - can't hurt T.
  23. What is it about Skylines??? I notice that everyone is getting vandalised, stolen, backed into, crashed, defected, blowing turbos or cylinders... What is this run of bad luck? T.
  24. What about an FJ20DET??? T.
