  1. http://www.fairfield.com??? Something on those lines? Some town ending with 'field I'd imagine I wouldn't bring my car to that place if they were doing installs for free. I personally would not leave a Skyline anywhere where you couldn't see it for any length of time. T.
  2. Before you get too excited about the Greddy plenum, I have seen test reports of it and it's less impressive flow wise than you'd expect. BUT it is best of the breed and it won't 'blow motors', is it worth the $1,800 AUD RRP??? Maybe. But for $1,100 or so? Quite possibly. Oh. btw, Brendan. I started my car TODAY! First time in months. First shot, sounds ok from the outside. I was tailing it as my mechanics were test driving it. Not so bad actually. Quite a horn sounding car (I've never seen it being driven!). Anyway the rebuild has started T.
  3. There's a GB of Tein spanners in the appropriate forum. Paul, I'll take the HKS spanners off you, I have Hypermax II's on my car. T.
  4. Yeah I wouldn't mind one of these either. I wanna tow a trailer. Does the Skyline have enough power to do this? T.
  5. You know I'm the last person to be on the side of "th' man" but come on... 106 in a 50 zone??? That's beyond what most people will call "advisable". The courts will not look upon this favourably. I suggest you don't take this to court as they'll most likely increase the fine and penalty. T.
  6. There's so many of them I doubt they'll become THAT rare. The exception is rare stuff like R32 V-Specs, N1's, Nur's etc. There were 44,000+ R32 GT-R's. Most were plain non V-Specs. Obviously these will never be rare. T.
  7. mate... A GTR is a lot different from a GTS. It's not just the 62cc difference! Drive or take a ride in one. It'll be clear why a GTR is twice the price. T.
  8. I'll buy a pair at $770. T.
  9. Advan 3 spokes aren't too bad. But the boat has sailed on them a long time ago. T.
  10. For my limited experience, I prefer my Hypermax II over Tein coils. Good range of adjust, nice and soft as it is. Handling is good. I found Teins as a whole, to be too stiff. T.
  11. We need some pics of that R33 GTS Ryan Mine are Ebbro 1:43 die cast. Retail is about $75 each with the rare ones (like that purple GT-R 34) running much more. 1:43 is a good size for sticking ontop of your monitor. T.
  12. check this one: http://www.importscene.com.au/prod1.htm Look at the price! However it only reads to 20psi is is less than I can run. T.
  13. Any guages in PSI? I have a Greddy/Trust vaccuum. T.
  14. I find this whole thing so stupid and puerile. The government getting upset over a turbo timer... Get them to hide it in the boot side panel. I found can of paint and a whole buncha shit in my skyline. T.
  15. OMFG! A/S/L? I saw the pics, read the spec. sheet and I was just speechless. This is gonna get print out and circulated at work. A perfectly modded car. This car belongs in a Skyline museum. Serious. T.
  16. Count 'em... http://www.nitroware.net/~tony/fsky_full.jpg T.
  17. If I was to drive all over Sydney like my last job, I wouldn't bother with a Skyline. They drink too much, they break too much shit and you can't park it anywhere. I use mine to drive to work and in that case, I go thru maybe 20 litres of fuel. The car is IMO worth very little (32/33 GTSt's ARE inexpensive rides to BUY)... I didn't pay that much but the NEED to modify and build the car better than it was is what costs. T.
  18. Xtian, Strangely I just rang them up about the RB25DET kit. This includes 550cc top feed + custom fuel rail. I know what price they quoted me. I am interested of course however it was more cost effective to get a set of side feeds from Japan. No need for an expensive rail. Of course if you car uses top feed, it should be cheap. T.
  19. Your pricing sounds reasonable. The best you can do is go to a few places and get quotes on similar work. To be honest, I'm going the other way... back to standard body look. T.
  20. The story in NSW is that your import car is valued on how much it cost to land your car at the RTA. ie. auction price + shipping + import duty + agents fees. Of course this is a tax on a tax but they don't see it that way. With the way it is of imports, $30,000 is believable for a 1995 r33 GT-R. For an r32 GT-R, I would say $17,500 or less is believable with the way 15 y.o. imports are going. If you put too little, State Revenue will pull you up, make you pay their valuation and fine you. T.
  21. If you look around, you can get new 255/40/17 for well under $250 each fitted. 235/45/17 is a very common size as SS Commodores and a whole bunch of performance cars use them as OEM. Well under $200 each fitted. There are even some reasonably well known brands in there. T.

    Tein Spanners

Do they work on HKS dampers? T.
  23. p1 QF forged? They are worth it. However standard P1 models are like half that... T.
  24. How do you determine what lift, duration you need? To be honest, the money is not the problem. The price for a pair of cams + gears is not bad. And what 'Stage' do you need? If they improve the response and 'feel' of the car, why not? T.
  25. Try this: http://rayswheels.co.jp/cgi-bin/cgi/englis...cgi?maker=NISMO T.
