  1. You gotta ask yourself why so many Commodore drivers end up driving Skylines. I used to drive a Commodore. It'll be a cold day in hell before I end up owning a Commodore again. Falcons just are better packages for taxi's being good on LPG and with a tough live rear end. Oh and the 33/34 is based on the Nissan "Laurel" floorplan/chassis which is a luxo sedan. The only REAL sports based Skyline is the original R32 GT-R T.
  2. White wheels are gay (except on white cars). Gold, silver, bronze or gunmetal is the goods. Yes that purple 33 is the total package... T.
  3. I bet you say that to all the young girlies... T.
  4. Well a GT-R is a GT-R. I would get a GT-R just so you can tell people you have a GT-R... A GTS/GTT will never be a GT-R. T.
  5. The last day was done by SkylinesNSW. Nice day, informal affair. T.
  6. The is irrelevant if you have ONE (1) engine immobiliser. T.
  7. I'll host it - I don't give a shit about copyright as the server is not in Aust. PM me. T.
  8. Croydon Racing Developments in Silverwater. T.
  9. A Greddy plenum is usually ~$1,750 form an Aust. dist. like Advan. Closer to $500 off from a Jap. dealer. Then maybe a few hundred on pipes to mate to your FMIC. + Labour It's not worth it for the money but if you've run out of things to buy and want that cool look, it's the go. I know I shouldn't buy one as I doubt I'll walk out the door with any change from $2,500 fitted but it's a weakness in me... T.
  10. The Greddy plenum is the only Jap unit around. It is recommended for easy fit but it is expensive and looks trick but it's less impressive power wise than you'd expect. T.
  11. Ben, yours is prob. an exceptional example. At Premiere, the avg. 33 was getting 140-150kW. And they were all reasonably modded. You need an FMIC really, plenum is a toy but nice. Mark, I'm interested in a Greddy plenum as well. I need to talk next meetup... T.
  12. I use JVC electrics and Alpine speakers. Alpine speakers IMO don't stack up to the hype. You're better off with Focal, Quart, VDO etc. T.
  13. Don't bother with a Nissan dealer - they can only get new ones for $600 apiece. T.
  14. Do you know if they fit a 33 gts-t? Interested. T.
  15. Yeah it is cancelled, Brett says so. T.
  16. Due to rain? T.
  17. as far as pete is concerned, giving is better than receiving... T.
  18. Ian Luff is not a good teacher for anything let alone something as demanding high performance driving. T.
  19. yeah, long time ago. I doubt the thing starts any more given the length of time it's been idle. I've been talking to Brendan about the whole episode but for right now - it looks like GT-R or GT-R N1 pistons might be the go. T.
  20. I'm not sure if the woodgrain inserts were a factory Nismo option... T.
  21. At this rate, you may as well buy stock GT-R pistons... you might even mix in GT-R conrods and crank if you wish... T.
  22. I've been looking around as I'm getting depressed with my car lying idle... I can't seem to find forged pistons at anywhere near reasonable. I'm looking at GT-R pistons now unless someone has better ideas... T.
  23. Any idea for piping on a 33 gts? T.
  24. Hey so installing these pistons is no go??? Check this: RB30E Bore - 86mm Stroke - 85.0mm Capacity - 2962 cc Compression ratio - 9.0:1 RB30ET Compression ratio - 7.8:1 Pretty severe. T.
  25. This is getting annoying - I think we need to organise a SAU lynching session... just like old days. T.
