  1. What are the sizes? I might just get them off cdr off one of you guys. T.
  2. EGT is interesting to know. More boost = more gas temp. Also tell you if you're leaning out. Water temp I don't care so much for since my PFC HC shows it (+ 7 other parameters). They also have a transmission temp. gauge (!!!) T.
  3. Redline Shockproof. My box is notchy when it's cold. Has to warm up before it's ready. T.
  4. There's some places that can make you a fiberglass or plastic boot lit that is flush with the guard. T.
  5. Won't have much money left then hey? Ceramic turbos should be limited to 1 bar or so. If I had a GT-R, my first option would be a HKS electric torque controller. But basic suspension mods like adjustable dampers, pineapples would be nice. T.
  6. You know A plate that fits in a standard DIN radio slot that you can mount three 50mm guages. I'd like it to face towards the driver but whatever... T.
  7. I really want three new guages - boost in PSI, oil temp and exhaust gas temp. Boost and temp will be cheap Splitfires. I think I'll match it with an oil or water temp guage so there's a neat 3 guages in the central console. The EGT however will end up being most likely an Autometer or Apex EL on the A-pillar. Seems ok? I have doubts about the A-pillar as I don't want to be defectable. T.
  8. It is the new one - mine works on rb25, rb26 and even sr20 and Hondas! The serial should be 415-00xxx something. T.
  9. Splitfire is MECHANICAL only for boost. T.
  10. Monza is one of those cheap knock off brands. If you really want an SSQV you can either order one overseas or get a 2nd hand one. T.
  11. If you can get them for $250 apiece you probably won't be needing your day job any more... T.
  12. I'm after an oil temp guage. I intend to mount it on the steering column. I have the choice of mechanical or electric. What should I get? Same price. T.
  13. Well mine did a 160 x 6 until I popped #... (ended up being 60psi) T.
  14. Obviously the above car (the one Andrew noted) needs a rebuild. T.
  15. Why are you telling this??? Gosh I have some ideas rolling in head... T.
  16. If you run high boost you need a higher energy spark. Some motors ping due to poor spark. There are good and bad things about splitfire coil but obviously this not the place to go on about it. T.
  17. I drove around without a front plate for a while - ie. my bar was being fitted with a bracket and the other time some knobs stole the screws (!!!) in plate and I couldn't be farked going to the hardware store to buy some. The cops who saw me glared at me but they like couldn't be farked pulling me over. Perhaps they were low on doughnuts... T.
  18. So you can use the RB20DET rail + 550cc GT-R style injectors??? Please be aware that proper RB25DET injectors are just under $1,000. If it costs less than this inc. install costs, go ahead. And be aware than 2nd hand injectors are just that. T.
  19. You know this is not a bad idea During a heavy police blitz we should cruise in our lamer-mobiles with an SAU sticker saying "My other car is a defectable Skyline". They'll end up defecting you for half filled washer bottles and non standard K-Mart wheel trims... T.
  20. The good thing about a tow bar is that they're useful if someone hits you there. At $295 for an OEM kit it's a no brainer. T.
  21. Basically you get a dremel tool, round out all the corners, grind the dags, makes the gas flow fast and smooth. I'm doing it to my head. You should too. T.
  22. Ah! The power of a comma... T.
  23. You're looking at this from the wrong angle. You're saying that because the roads were in good nick, you should be able to go above 50. It's not your place to say that. There are plenty of roads that can sustain travel at very high speeds. The court will see that the relevant authorities have decided that 50 is enough and you did 106. There's no extenuating circumstances. Unfortunately the way the law is, there's no contesting the vast majority of speed tickets. I've heard of people who argued with scientific facts that they couldn't possibly be doing the speeds stated on the speed guns/cameras. They still lost. You were doing 106 by an 'infallible device'. There's no way around it. T.
  24. Jeezzz, at $500 I'll do no probs if Xtian backs out. T.
